Once I got the speaker location right for both ears, holy cow the 50S is loud and clear! I have the same helmet, just different colors. Next I have to move my helmet cam over from old helmet.... fun
the 50r is marketed for off-road adventure type riding. There isn't a clamp base like there is on the 50s. The base is actually affixed permanently to helmet, due to the nature of the intended riding. You can buy addition bases to adhere to other helmets. Where the 50s clamp has the option to clamp or stick the base to the helmet. You get about an hour more of battery life with the 50s. I also like the jog dial a lot. I came from a system that just had buttons. For quick audio changes its nice. the 50s is bigger the the 50r.
Hey Guys. This comes with Extra Mics. 1 mic is a flexible boom mic that is attached to the clamp. The 2nd is an extra flexible boom mic that has a small wire lead that attaches with Velcro in the helmet more. The last mic is a small wired mic, which also attaches with Velcro.
Thanks for showing the close-up at the end because the first part was fuzzy. Helpful video.
I can already see how much better those speakers must feel compared to the previous versions!
They are completely upgraded compared to what I had. Much louder and the bevel makes them comfy.

Agreed... Speaker placement is key. I have no issue hearing anything at high speeds.
A trick: watch movies at Flixzone. Been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Austin Payton Yea, I've been using flixzone} for years myself :D
Very useful video! Thank you.
Great video
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Am still not sure what to get Sena 50s or 50r, I haven't seen them in person.

I will review once I have more ride time with Sena and have had the opportunity to use features. However, Ask Questions, I may have answers!
You could have put the cables coming out of the unit directly down inside of the lining , instead of over it.
Thanks. Actually getting ready to redo the setup.
No more guitar
Lol at least tune it first.
