I like to think that Us the the soul Controls kris since Chara is taking over, we and chara are using the same Vessel (kris’ body), and we’re trying to stop or prevent Chara from taking over Kris and be free.
And the reason when kris removes us (the soul) its actually chara taking over, and kris is resisting them which is why Kris’ walks like a zombie when the soul is Removed. Besides where did the Knife came from, only chara can do that, and also this universe or whatever isnt connected to deltarune, or at least kris is not frisk in a different body as far as ive known, Kris has History in the town and it doesn’t make sense for kris to just know about there past in the Universe of Deltarune

yeah they actually aren't evil at all. us (the player) are the evil one who when down genocide. plus im almost 100% sure that when chara and asriel died it was to try and save the monsters, of course that failed and the are dead now. Chara killing us ( i assume. some people think frisk/us killed chara but I don't believe that because charas already dead) was to get rid of the thing who WAS the threat. it was also not frisk because WE were the ones controlling frisk.
