Great video, hopefully Croatia can continue to grow/modernize its air force! MoD has spent a lot of money on mechanized units on the ground, acquiring Rafale jets was a huge step in the air for such a small country. Mi Hrvati!

After these are paid off Croatia needs to buy the fifth generation F-35 planes and get 12 trainer jets too.

@@MeanStreakGaming Depends, as the Croatian economy is growing. If it continues to grow, then they will be able to buy F-35s in the future.
Right now, Croatia should buy jet trainer aircraft that can double as light attack aircraft.
True, as the current government is less corrupt than the previous. This will be short lived, as non corrupt politicians in Croatia are rare as frog's hair.

Well Serbia never had an S variant, and the latest are SM+ which is far better than S. How ever, I wish to see this from the angle of the Mig-29. I have a feeling he's being very late in reactions with 0 countermeasures.

mig 29sm is same as s just with added pylons for air to ground guided munition, has a zhuk radar range 130km for a target of 5^2 m
The biggest gain Croatian Air Force will be complete transfer to western technology, equipment and stragie. Today CAF will fly Rafale, next time maybe some other western made omnirole war plane, but westetn system would be completely adopted. This was the main goal for HRZ (CAF).
Yeah, I thought they were gonna buy F-16s from Israel but the US blocked the sale.
@@MeanStreakGaming No. US didn't blocked the sale. That deal was mission impossible simply because CRO was thinking that OEM should be responsible for maintenance and support. But guess what, LM has no clue what is going on with airframes once in Israeli hands. That is the reason why barak sale failed.
I heard US blocked the sale because Israel had modified the airframes and US said they needed to return the planes to their original state before selling. I don't know if that's true or not, that's just what I heard.

Does that version of rafale f3r have tail hook?
I think it's there but I'm not sure it works
Only the navy version of the M has a hook on the tail and that has nothing to do with the standard the plane is on

there was not even an announcement of start of negotiations from dessault's side let alone a purchase agreement, even if bought delivery cant be before 2033
