I feel like they had the opportunity to become mainstream rock But had different views from the pop rock that was being played all over MTV so they stayed humble & decided to stay with independent labels, which is the right way to go, especially in the music/entertainment world of today, record label executives would complain to Justin way too much & force him to cut his crazy yet awesome hair

Motion City Soundtrack is always finding a way to change up their videos and keep you engaged in them. They never get old, they never do the same thing twice, and they're always unpredictable. That's why I've loved them for years.
These guys -- and this video -- deserves so many more views and likes. Instead of the junk they play on the radio these days, why can't they broadcast amazing music from real artists like MCS? Want to see these guys play live soon. They haven't come along my way just yet.

Yeah he probably did, Jack Johnson did something just like that for his song Sitting, Waiting, Wishing. They basically made up words that when said, looked like the actual words of the song being sung backwards and wrote them on a board and Jack sung that. Not sure if that's how Justin did it in this, but that would be my guess.
By the way, the entire thing is filmed in one take but reversed! The first part before the snog is when they're walking backwards (backwards reversed is walking forwards) while afterward the time reverse is just them walking forwards, reversed!
Took me awhile, but I realized that the entire video is reversed. Throughout the guy's boss's part or Kleio' s part, she is walking normally - walking from the office to the guy's apartment and afterwards the guy is walking backwards throughout the rest of the video.
The guy in the beginning is walking forward but it shows it in reverse, so doesn't that mean he walked backwards down the street??? Still confused 😂 I'm probably over thinking this whole thing... Haha I give up.
