I passed! LOL Hey Julie, thank you so much for this one YET AGAIN! I had no idea that headboards were necessary for good Feng Shui but have been wanting one for our king bed for a while. But instead of investing in one, I am deciding to build my own. And I LOVE that wood and rectangles are the best choices here because I like simplicity and nature. I wasn't sure if the footboard was necessary but now I know. I just love your channel, girl, it's taught me so much! Thanks!! Geri
I have 2 beds (malm from ikea) but they are one full and one twin in the same room next to each other. They are in the wall with window in the center to avoid the coffin. Having 2 different sizes of bed affect the Feng Shui? Should I get just Twin beds? Looking some of the photos from the video. I think I wanna cover the whole wall (11’) with curtains.
I'm surprised you loved the headboard that looks like a pull-out couch at 12:00 because of the division of the cushions in the middle. That's based on thinking they're attached though. If they're not, I can see how it would qualify as passable but I'm definitely not a fan of how poorly shaped the cushions are and the random tufting on the side (arm?) of the headboard.
Julie, your video promotes a taller headboard for feng shui. I live in a studio apartment and have tried to keep the height of my furniture relatively balanced to avoid making my bed seem like it is overpowering the rest. What do you suggest for headboard height in this situation? I thought something low and very wide would help maintain the feng shui. Thanks in advance!
TY for the practical advice. TY for not recommending kitschy trinkets that spoil the balance of a room, and ty for replacing with beautiful advice to result in what we think of when we think of a feng shui space. I already want to sleep in those rooms 😊
Feng shui for my allergies: wooden headboard Feng shui for my mind: cozy cloth headboard Feng shui for my back: tall headboard My mattress warranty: "you can't sit with us" Feng shui for my budget: Ikea Tarva headboard Feng shui for my stability: no holes in the headboard My Ikea Tarva headboard: "...should I leave?" Great video Julie 🥰
Thank you for watching Marion- I did cover those topics in the bedroom video and color palettes video. Follow the compass direction to determine specific colors. I’ll add these details to my next comprehensive bedroom guide 👍🏻☺️
I really like this Feng shui series. I can think of a scenario where keeping the bed under a window could be a bad idea: A thief tries to break into your home by breaking the window glass while you are asleep, this could seriously hurt you.
I just started coming across your videos recently and I really enjoy the way you present feng shui principles. It really helps as I get into it more and start applying it to my life. You mentioned asking if there's a frame/shape I'm unsure of, so here it goes. I'm moving soon and I want to take this new opportunity to restructure my sleeping space for the better. I'm moving to a very old house and my bedroom is in the southeast corner of the house, but it's small. The room is only able to accommodate a twin bed, but I'm single and I'm not looking to enter a relationship, so that's not a concern for me. The door faces into the side of the closet which helps with the coffin position, but the wall the door is on is the only solid wall in the room. The two walls without the door or closet both have one oddly placed long thin window each, which makes positioning the bed tricky by feng shui standards, from my limited understanding. I've been considering an upholstered daybed with a high back, and wrapped sides, positioned lengthwise a few feet from the furthest of the the windows, opposite the closet/door side of the room, but facing the door. This would keep the commanding position, and symmetry in the room, and avoid coffin positioning, but I know not having the bed against the wall can be a no no. With the larger back to the daybed, would this help to mitigate that? You also mentioned daybeds representing more transient symbolism, though the ones I'm considering are without a trundle beneath it and are very much meant to look and feel like a permanent fixture. I'd prefer to avoid a traditional bed style if I can, as this room would feel extraordinarily small if I did and leave little room for much else, hence my initial look into daybeds to begin with. Are there other options do you think I should consider with regards to the positioning in the room, or the bed itself?
Thank you for this wonderful and informative video Julie🙏 could you please offer any advice on countering bad qi from a split headboard , other than getting a new bed/headboard? The headboard is a soft cushion material split down the middle.
I loved this video more so since I am planning to get a tufted button headboard but with leather/vinyl for my king size bed. I would like a linen headboard but it catches on to dust easily and gets dirty as well. Would like to know your views? Thanks.
I’m not a fan of vinyl (unless it’s high grade) since the plastic degrades over time Daizy- it has no longevity. Love leather, but if you’re prone to resting your head against the headboard, hair product residue will show over time. Love fabric and I find it so easy to vacuum and keep clean with the little attachment made especially for upholstery and furniture. Hope that helps!
I really enjoy learning about Feng Shui. I was so proud of myself when I got the multi-panel wood headboard answer correct. I said, "nope, poison arrows." I don't have a headboard because I have an adjustable bed. I don't see how it would be possible to attach one, so I would have to hang it on the wall. I'm so challenged with such things, lol. At least my bed is in the command position, although I have terrible sleep most nights, and as I had commented before a while back, I KNOW it's because that wall is connected to the neighbor's bedroom, and I feel all the negative chi coming through. Still, I don't want to put my bed in my total loss direction (East) or coffin position. Thank you for this segment, I learned so much, Miss Julie. :)
I am custom making a bed frame for a client’s adjustable bed now Psalm. You are correct in your assessment of the shared wall. A DIY panel headboard attached to the wall behind you can help immensely 👍🏻
Hi, Julie, Love the quiz idea, a proven method to ensure concept is understood, and your memorizable visuals plus overlay of “X” or check mark help me recall the info days later!
Are wooden bed frames better than divan fabric frame for antique look and comfort the one I have is solid wood and don't want to let it go its bit noisy but good quality
This is so informative! I'm currently decorating the bedroom (we selected the right headboard yayyy). I would like to know what kind of wall art would be good. We are keeping everything with neutral colors: white, grey, black but we don't want to add a mirror over the dresser (as per your other videos, it will face the bed). Any suggestion?
Any type of wall art that helps you feel relaxed and calm Marilyn. I covered artwork in the bedroom Feng Shui video, watch it again if you missed that section 👍🏻☺️
Thanks Julie. LOVE Fengshui videos Please do more Also please help us understand the difference between the different FS schools and how the reflects on decor/design
Thank you for watching Cinzia! I don’t follow the various schools so I wouldn’t be much help in this department. I studied under my master who advised me of understanding general Feng Shui principles before diving into the details. It’s worked for me so far ☺️
Hi Julie! I wonder if you could talk about wall art placement in bedroom according to feng shui. I read that you should avoid hanging wall art above the head of the bed and now my wall looks kinda empty 😅 Do you have any suggestions for this situation?
Hi Julie. You had a wonderful light wooden carved headboard that you used a few years back in one of your design stories and I'm trying to ascertain where you found it.
Everyone loves that headboard, it’s from Joss and Main and sadly discontinued. You can see it on my website under “Hacienda Heights” project and use my Pinterest hack to find a duplicate. Watch the Pinterest hack video to learn how to find a substitute. Good luck Sammy!
I have green cork (various darker shades. Green cork from Spain)panels, 12x24 inches, and was wondering if I could construct a "false headboard" by attaching it to the wall, in a rectangle shape, maybe rounding the corners a but? It is a rental and I have the mattress on the floor (currently a non negotiable , due to some health challneges) full size bed, single person. Thank you
I have a queen size mattress and I’m considering changing it to a twin size with two matching side tables and lamp. You did not say anything about mattress sizes. Are there any Feng Shiu rules in regards to this?
So grateful for this video!! I’ve been wanting to rearrange my guest bedroom but to achieve the command position would put the bed in underneath a window IN the coffin position. 😖 I was aware of the using drapes but I was not aware about the footboard or bench! Thank you!!
This was an amazing video. It helped me with so many questions. Things that I didn’t even think of. One of the beds you listed as not to buy I was about to purchase. Saved me. I have watched majority all your videos. One thing I have been looking for is is it good to have a king bed as a married couple. Even if it’s available platform bed is it more ideal to have Queen. I have always been able to remove ceiling fan, but we are moving and ceiling fan can’t be moved. It is at feet, but husband insists on turning on. Is there something I can put on fan ?
Thank you for watching Mecha! King is great for couples, gives you more freedom so you’re not too close all the time 😅 The ceiling fan is necessary in hotter climates I understand, as long as it’s not above your head, you’re doing your best 👍🏻
Is there any feng shui advantage in having space under the bed vs storage? Or is there no difference? I like the look of the platform beds but am concerned about the lack of space under them
Thanks Julie! Great video! I will change my headboard as soon as I can it has a shape that looks like fire and I never liked it anyway 😕. I will let you know if my sleep improves after that 😉
What about the base of the bed? I've always felt that there should be light and air moving under the bed (also little robot vacuum cleaners), but most of the beds were flush with the floor.
Thanks for this Julie! I’m in a difficult place as I have a Murphy bed (that’s what my small studio allows for). Does decorating your Murphy bed to contribute to the idea of its permanence, work better according to FS?
I have the worst bed (in relation to feng shui), its heavy and made from medal, its a sled shaped with lots of holes. I LOVE my bed. My question: is there anyway of keeping it? If l drape fabric over the headboard would it help?
Hey Elizabeth, if your bed frame is in four detachable parts, you may be able to buy a different headboard and secure it to your bed. You could also use it as a guest bed in a part of the house where metal element energy would be supported.
If you love your bed and feel good in it, that’s all that matters Elizabeth. But yes, custom making a fabric + cushion to go over the headboard would help immensely
Mine is an antique open metal turtle shape & I love it. It's very sweet looking & I foresee keeping it forever. Thanks for affirming that the feeling it gives is what's important. I make it cozy with pillows & linens. Love your videos, Julie. You look beautiful & healthy. Blessed delivery & happy family 🤟🙏
I appreciate this video! So much new info and I'm BIG on energy. I am wondering if a rectangular wooden headboard with storage is good, bad, neutral? Thank you
If my bed headboard has a split in it will covering it with a blanket avoid negative energies? Also, if the bed is in the corner what else can I do for support besides a headboard?
If it’s a king/ cal king and separates the couple, it’s not ideal Josephine. Modern and luxurious yes! But according to Feng Shui, notsomuch lol. We can’t win them all 😉
This is a very timely subject for me Julie. Even though I don't follow Feng shui, I find it matches with all of my common sense reasons for placement of things in the home. I am about to start a refinishing headboard project. This headboard has verticle slats but rectangular shape with a backward curve at the top. Bed is also in front of a window near our front door.. I was debating upholstering the front of it. You have helped me decide on 2 hanging pillows or solid pad . I can just paint/stain the sides & upholster the main body. Any other thoughts for me? thanks
Julie, I love all your tips but what about for a smaller home? Can you recommend someone to guide me because all of your signs are so grand and I am not in that budget
I have a metal frame in white in guest bedroom. Double size. All of the furniture in the room is white. I would like to with a minimalist but am unsure whether to with a blonde or white wood. Thanks for this video
I do not have much choice as where my bed is placed. Unfortunately, the only place I can put the bed in a position where my feet lines up with the bedroom door. What is the solution to this? Put a curtain or divider between the door and bed? Or push the bed closer to a wall?
In my bedroom the only wall I could put my bed on was the far wall (which always is my first choice) there was a small window that was only on the right side of where a headboard would go so I added 2 paneled mirrored on the left side that look almost exactly like the window so now it appears the bed in up against 3 windows. It acts as a headboard becuase the existing window is too low anyways to have a headboard. I had a nice wooden frame though. My question is: should I add pull down shades to the mirrors as well?? I just feel so much better with it like this because it is balanced but I know feng shui would say no no
Mirrors are a Feng Shui no-no in the bedroom as you surmised Kerri. Treat it like a window and add drapery or remove it completely. You may balance the right window with artwork on the left side of the bed instead. The choice is yours 👍🏻
Guest rooms don’t harm you as much as those staying in them, but since it’s temporary, it’s less offensive Carol. But swap them out if your budget permits and you wish for better energy in there 👍🏻☺️
Your Feng Shui videos are my absolute favorites. I am still looking for an affordable headboard for my full size bed. In the meantine, I have two large European style pillows that offer comfort and support. Are they bad F.S. because there are two?? Would it be considered a "split" situatuon? I am leaning towards the new Ikea upholstered curved bed in one of your recent videos. This was great info. p.s. I passed the test 100%
The pillows aren’t permanent so not considered split Lori. FB marketplace and OfferUp have great deals on barely used beds and headboards. Often times people can’t return new items since they’re past the return window so you can score brand new for way less. Good luck! 🙌🏻
This video explains so much of why certain materials and designs are not chi friendly. So it was easy to excel on that pop quiz at the end! 🤗🥰😉I like the butterfly blouse and aqua nail color on you. Stay pretty!
I really like the st james collection at restoration hardware . I keep hearing about bedroom sets being out of style but I love the vintage old school look but want to add leather for modern
Hi, your videos are Amazing! Thank you. I have bought a motorised bed base from Tempur with a fabric based rectangle and high headboard so all looks good. However, I have taken a split motorised bed base and a split mattress so that my husband and I can position it as per our own preference ( I sleep early, he watches his phone etc ). Is that ok as per Feng shui ?
Hi Julie. Love your videos. What to do if large bedroom window is not centered on the wall. Would like to put bed on this wall for best Feng Shui in my bedroom. Window is about 106” and there is 22” of wall on one side and 44” on the other. Should I just center on window? Centering on the wall and putting drapery on each side does not seem right considering would want maximum window exposure. Thanks.
I would center on the wall regardless of what’s happening with the windows Kathy. That will allow you to maximize the size of the nightstands. The symmetry will make the back wall feel balanced and Feng Shui loves that. But then again, it’s your space and your design intent. Do what feels right to you
The curved blue headboard for the quiz that you absolutely loved, has two pillows one for each side, which is not good for fengshui, right? Can that be remedied? It is really hard to have perfect fengshui...
I have the marte bed from urban outfitters with tight cane with small holes. Could I remedy this with a fabric or piece of something nailed behind the cane?
Another great video, thank you 🙏 ❤️ Are you able to do a video on how to decorate a bedroom dresser? I’m finding it hard to decorate all my dressers in my house
Would a wooden straight rectagular headboard be a good fengshui? Quite confused with the strong arrows rule, would those corners be considered as strong arrows?
I have a twin bed frame. Its rectangular fabric divided by 6 even squares within the solid head board . Its for my 5 yo daughter. I imagine that is bad. However she'd a child... does this grid shape matter for her?
I have two matching, big, dark dark brown almost black bookshelves on either side of my bed. They are rectangular shaped. They are about 5 feet tall, 1 foot deep, two feet wide. Do you think these are negatively impacting sleep? Either with the color or poison arrows?
The amount of books you have within the shelves can also impact sleep along with your points above Takara. You can always place a pillow between your head and the edge of the shelves at night. See if that helps
Thank you again for your videos! How tall would you say a headboard should be if it's in front of a window? My primary bedroom as well as one of my kids' bedrooms, the best placement for our beds is under a window.
As high as you like JD. You will move it away from the walls a bit so the window treatment will still be operable. My old headboard was 60” high in front of a window and I felt like it could have been taller 😅
Enjoyed this very much. Platform beds are very popular right now and we are looking at a couple. What do you think about the Thuma Bed with padded headboard? The headboard is NOT attached and is fairly low. Any suggestions on where to get a good selection of "good" frames and headboards? Thank you.
My headboard is solid wood but vertical planks about 4 inches wide with about 3 inches of space between each plank. I do place plush pillows vertically in front of it, but throw them to the floor for sleeping. Is there a diy solution or would it be best to purchase another bed frame? Moving soon and budget is tight...Definitely have had my share of ups and downs over the years, and I am willing to try fen shui principles in my new home to see if it helps. Couldn’t hurt.
Hi Julie Khuu, thank you for this video. How about a fabric headboard with vertical lines(no spaces). Is this bad feng shui because of the lines/panel effect? Also does it matter what colour the fabric is? I am thinking of going grey as it matches the curtains and it’s a neutral colour so I can add colour on the bed.
If the lines are a part of the pattern, I think it’s ok. It’s when the seams split split right in the center creating two separate sides that become the issue Katie
Hi Adrienne- you can take a screenshot of the image and upload it onto a paint vendor’s website for the color! It’s a nifty tool I covered in my paint videos
I love your input! I bought a bed with attached headboard that is beautiful carved wood very sturdy. It supports my head Lying and sitting - it was custom so I did not know the carving is all the way through (some holes) is there a solution for this?
If you have a bed shape or frame that you’re still unsure of, let me know in the comments below! Remember that it’s more important to understand how you feel in your space vs. what Feng Shui principles suggest. Thank you for watching everyone! 🙏🏻☺️

Love this video and series. I hope you address other concerns such as bedside table (can we only have round?) and paint color in the bedroom.
I am also curious about the side tables since most of them are rectangular or square and have poison arrows.

As long as it’s rectangular in shape, I feel like the intent is there. Solid wood is best though Rayna 👍🏻
Hi Julie! I wonder if you could talk about wall art placement in bedroom according to feng shui. I read that you should avoid hanging wall art above the head of the bed and now my wall looks kinda empty 😅 Do you have any suggestions for this situation?

What about the base of the bed? I've always felt that there should be light and air moving under the bed (also little robot vacuum cleaners), but most of the beds were flush with the floor.
Air under the bed is great. Storage under the bed is a Feng Shui no-no Cat 👍🏻 Love my iRobot for keeping the energy fresh and clear 🙌🏻
Good or bad feng shui; wooden beds that have build in LED / USB outlets? Also what about storage beds?
Thanks for this Julie! I’m in a difficult place as I have a Murphy bed (that’s what my small studio allows for). Does decorating your Murphy bed to contribute to the idea of its permanence, work better according to FS?
Yes, that’s the perfect solution Raquel 👍🏻
I have shelves in my headboard, personally not a fan but my mom chose it so I can't change it. Thoughts?
Great content and perfect timing...we are currently shopping for a new bed. Thank you Julie.
Thank you for watching Tiffany! Hope this helps narrow down the options for you 👍🏻☺️
I enjoy your Pop Quiz that you add on with your very educational Fung Shui vid….thank you Julie!
Also you are glowing and beautiful!🥰🇨🇦👏🙏🏼💖
Thank you for watching Claire 🙏🏻☺️
I have the worst bed (in relation to feng shui), its heavy and made from medal, its a sled shaped with lots of holes. I LOVE my bed. My question: is there anyway of keeping it? If l drape fabric over the headboard would it help?
Hey Elizabeth, if your bed frame is in four detachable parts, you may be able to buy a different headboard and secure it to your bed. You could also use it as a guest bed in a part of the house where metal element energy would be supported.
Excellent suggestion Cecily! 🙌🏻
Thank you
Wooden headboard is great! Storage, notsomuch 👎🏻
If my bed headboard has a split in it will covering it with a blanket avoid negative energies? Also, if the bed is in the corner what else can I do for support besides a headboard?
Nice Julie! After you argue in your last video about the bed headboards in a small room, now you make content.
Just following through Paolo 🙌🏻☺️
Once again, magical Julie 💜💙💚 thank you. I was also researching fengshui chairs for my desk, that was interesting. Maybe you could do that too.
I’ll add that to my list, thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
I am forever grateful for your work.💜💙💚
Thank you for sharing
How about an electric adjustable bed?
If it’s a king/ cal king and separates the couple, it’s not ideal Josephine. Modern and luxurious yes! But according to Feng Shui, notsomuch lol. We can’t win them all 😉
Julie you nailed it. I shared this video to my family and hopefully will help them. Thank you and stay safe. 🙏🏽😘
Thank you for watching and sharing Beth! 🙏🏻☺️
I love this video Julie and only missed 3 on the quiz. Thanks so much. Hope all is well with you and your family❤️
Thank you for watching Evelyn! The principles absorb better once you understand the concepts 👍🏻😊
What should I do if my headboard has division in the middle? Thanks in advance! God bless😇🙏
Any other thoughts for me? thanks
Sounds fabulous Mama! As long as the channels are fabric wrapped and symmetrical (without just splitting down the middle) you should be good 👍🏻
Julie, I love all your tips but what about for a smaller home? Can you recommend someone to guide me because all of your signs are so grand and I am not in that budget
Watch my playlist on small spaces- over 10 videos that address small homes/ studios/ apartments ☺️😎
I needed this Julie! Redoing my bedroom! I need a good shi inputting this to my third life.
Hope my tips help Sou! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
This is so useful, thank you very much!! I loved the quiz at the end, because I can memorize the information better.❤️
That’s the intent of the quiz Blu! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
I have a metal frame in white in guest bedroom. Double size. All of the furniture in the room is white. I would like to with a minimalist but am unsure whether to with a blonde or white wood. Thanks for this video
Blond wood would add necessary warmth
Agreed with Cecily, blonde wood will help break up all the whites 👍🏻
Thanks blonde it is.
I have an old frame in perfect condition and would like to know if all headboards fit the old metal frame?
Thanks Julie for another Fung Shui episode. Is wrapping a metal head board with fabric ok?
That’s a great solution to combat the metal element Suzie 👍🏻
Thank you for your sharing. It is very interesting. My bed is facing the door of the bedroom. Is it good or bad? If bad, how to fix that?
Bad only if your feet face the opening of the door, I shared cures in the last segment of this video Josephine
Thank you Julie!!!🌹Our bed has good Feng Shui, my guest rooms have brass headboards, I’m going to change them.
Good luck! 🙌🏻
what about platform style bedding?
Is bedframe of wood with indonasia flower carving that have small holes bad for fengsui?
This video explains so much of why certain materials and designs are not chi friendly. So it was easy to excel on that pop quiz at the end! 🤗🥰😉I like the butterfly blouse and aqua nail color on you. Stay pretty!
Woohoo! So glad the concepts came through 🙌🏻☺️
I really like the st james collection at restoration hardware . I keep hearing about bedroom sets being out of style but I love the vintage old school look but want to add leather for modern
Just enough textural contrast will make any set stand out 👍
Yay!!!! Been wondering when you were going to make another feng shui video!
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
Hi, your videos are Amazing! Thank you. I have bought a motorised bed base from Tempur with a fabric based rectangle and high headboard so all looks good. However, I have taken a split motorised bed base and a split mattress so that my husband and I can position it as per our own preference ( I sleep early, he watches his phone etc ). Is that ok as per Feng shui ?
Technically no, since the mattresses are split. But do what you love, we can’t always follow Feng Shui rules when we prioritize comfort or style
Do what feels right to you
@JulieKhuu, we have a iron bed frame. How can we treat . Ty
Great video! I just didn't understand the poison arrow part. What did you mean by that?
Check out my video on Feng Shui for the bedroom for the break down Dee 👍🏻
The curved blue headboard for the quiz that you absolutely loved, has two pillows one for each side, which is not good for fengshui, right?
Can that be remedied?
It is really hard to have perfect fengshui...
Separate pillows are fine. It’s when there’s a line down the middle of the headboard that becomes the issue Adolf
Julie - you always get me thinking in different ways!👍
Awesome, I love that Kristina! 👍🏻☺️
What's the feng shui of a loft bed? (A raised double bed with a ladder)
I have the marte bed from urban outfitters with tight cane with small holes. Could I remedy this with a fabric or piece of something nailed behind the cane?
If you already have a metal bed how can you overcome the issues?
You may try to cushion or fabric wrap it Janet. Focus on what’s behind you first
Hi, you show a white bed frame on this video; do you know where I can find it? Thank you!
Use my Pinterest hack to find ANYTHING you see in my videos Elizabeth! I made a video to show you how ☺️
Hi Julie ,
Can you please tell me if my headboard is good or bad fengshui please? It’s called platine de royale champagne by Micheal Amini. Thank you.
Hi Julie ur videos are so informative, thanks alot for these kind of videos.
Thank you for watching Preeti 🙏🏻☺️
I have a japanese (futon/tatami) bed on the ground, is it bad for Feng Shui?
Another great video, thank you 🙏 ❤️ Are you able to do a video on how to decorate a bedroom dresser? I’m finding it hard to decorate all my dressers in my house
I have a video on how to style consoles Jennifer- check it out 👍🏻
Would a wooden straight rectagular headboard be a good fengshui? Quite confused with the strong arrows rule, would those corners be considered as strong arrows?
This type works beautifully Kathleen. Those sharp corners are only poison arrows when they’re pointed AT you.
I learned a lot from your channel, thank you Miss Julie🙏🙏🙏😊
Thank you for watching! ☺️🙏
I have a twin bed frame. Its rectangular fabric divided by 6 even squares within the solid head board . Its for my 5 yo daughter. I imagine that is bad. However she'd a child... does this grid shape matter for her?
Oh no, I have a metal poster bed with half circle headboard that I absolutely love, what can I do to minimise minimise bad feng shui?
You may drape a blanket or wrap over the open areas or simply prop large pillows up for additional coverage
@@JulieKhuu Thank you! 😊
Love the feng shui series, great tips, thanks Julie
Thank you for watching Harmony 🙏🏻☺️
I have two matching, big, dark dark brown almost black bookshelves on either side of my bed. They are rectangular shaped. They are about 5 feet tall, 1 foot deep, two feet wide. Do you think these are negatively impacting sleep? Either with the color or poison arrows?
The amount of books you have within the shelves can also impact sleep along with your points above Takara. You can always place a pillow between your head and the edge of the shelves at night. See if that helps
Hi. What about a brass daybed with a trundle?
Brass = metal
Thank you.
Thuma bed is great for sleeping, hits all the positive Feng Shui points. Headboard is a little low for sitting upright though.
@@JulieKhuu I agree on the headboard. Thanks so much!
I am really considering a day bed. My room is the not the master and is a smaller space. Can you touch on this a bit more?
I have a video on that - it’s called guest room multifunctional space and I link my fav daybeds Angel. Check it out 👍🏻😊
My headboard is solid wood but vertical planks about 4 inches wide with about 3 inches of space between each plank.
You can wrap the headboard in foam and fashion a fabric cover over it Carrie!
It’s when the seams split split right in the center creating two separate sides that become the issue Katie
hey jk, at 11:13 there is a beautiful orange wall/ ceiling color that i love. any chance you know the color? thanks for another fun video!
Hi Adrienne- you can take a screenshot of the image and upload it onto a paint vendor’s website for the color! It’s a nifty tool I covered in my paint videos
Watching from Philippines ❤️ what's the best area to put my bed! We just move in to our new place.Thank you
Watch the bedroom Feng Shui video Maria- I show you exactly where for every condition you might have 👍🏻☺️
What about IKEA RAMNEFJÄLL? Is that considered "turtle shape" so it is neutral?
I love your input! I bought a bed with attached headboard that is beautiful carved wood very sturdy. It supports my head Lying and sitting - it was custom so I did not know the carving is all the way through (some holes) is there a solution for this?
You can always wrap the back with fabric or another piece of solid wood Sheila. It really depends on how much you’re willing to modify this condition
