Consider what you do before bedtime to help your search. Do you need a fabric headboard with extra padding while you sit up and read in bed? Do you prefer a material that’s super low maintenance and easy to clean like wood? Maybe your style is more industrial and leather would fit the bill best! I wish I were buying a bed. When I bought my queen bed it had a footboard. But I prefer these platform beds. When I was shopping the only platform beds had a platform with sharp edges which I refused to buy. When I buy I always want soft edges. Even when I had my kitchen done I specified soft edges on all the cabinetry and counter tops. When I was little the mcm design was popular. So when ever I bumped into furniture I got hurt from the sharp clean edges. As an adult I never forgot that. So you are wise to point out that important feature! It’s so nice to see how your design schemes are evolving with your domestic life ! It’s all about change! Stay pretty! 🥰👏🏻👍🏻❤️Margaret what ru doing for outside design these days?

Also have question- I have dark headboard from late 2000s. Solid dark wood almost black, gorgeous style and was in a large room. Now in smaller room and colour is making room smaller. I will not part with it. What do you suggest? Paint? Upholstery? I dunno but it's too dark now. BTW nightstands (which are actually office furniture) are also dark to match. Hey, it was trendy back then....😂😂😂
I love the look of the vertical channel velvet upholstered beds like the Casterly! The only thing is I need a low profile version because I have pets. Please let me know if you know of one in the $1000 range!
What do you think about beds that have lights in the headboard like the living spaces Wade White Queen Wood Panalbed with LED lights
Absolutely loved the Lexi bed. I use an adjustable mattress frame, so it won’t work for me. My bedroom is very small, so I just use a headboard. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have that option!

I've spent at least 20 hrs looking for a bed frame online, and I'm exhausted. None of them have the details I'm looking for, but perhaps this video can help. I need a wood slat solid platform bed with a headboard that has no gap at the bottom (cats love to run under the bed and I need to put an end to that 😅). Thank you for the video. I just want a solid platform bed 12 inch height off the ground, wood slats. I see them in pics all the time but can't find them online.

I actually like the platform beds and canopy beds however im at a dilemma is how do you choose a good bed size according to room size? I really enjoyed this video with the variety of beds
Leave a minimum of 36” around the bed for passage and whatever is leftover is your maximum size

I have read that bed frames with storage isn’t ideal as it would block the flow of energy. I am curious why you wouldn’t consider it undesirable.

I want an adjustable mattress what bed can you use for that. I want to lift my legs or head but I do not know what kind of bed to get.
I had to custom design an upholstered box frame to fit a king sized adjustable mattress for my clients. I couldn’t find one I liked on the market, but any headboard can work. You just have to nix the frame

I thought feng shui requires that space be left underneath the bed. Some beds that you suggest rest on the floor
The frames appear to sit on the floor, but the mattress sits atop a bed of slats which is raised off the floor

Pretty much all the beds are ON THE FLOOR I am officially Over ordering ANYTHING ONLINE PERIOD
They may be raised on slats which is great for Feng Shui

I hate wooden bed with fabric. It breaks easily, it's hard to totally clean dust & it's molding easily especially on the side.💀💀💀
Depends on what you’re sourcing of course. Vintage/ antique wood beds are so well made, you can find so many amazing pieces on FB marketplace and simply reupholster the fabric portion

I didn’t see any bed that just looked amazing. They looked too modern or found in another country. I guess I’m more traditional.
