My milkman bought an EV scooter for Rs 80000. He used it for 3 years and had used it for more than 50000 kms. After that the battery started to create issues. It was not charging sufficiently. When he went to the dealer they said the guarantee is not valid since the scooter has travelled more than 50000 kms. The replacement guarantee is applicable if the EV has travelled less than 35000 kms. They gave an option to repair the battery for Rs 20000 without guarantee or a new battery for Rs 50000 with guarantee of upto 35000 kms. He has now ditched the EV and has started to use his old faithful TVS XL moped

you should complain to there higher authorities through mail and you should mail to "IRDAI" for insurance regarding issues and report to ministry of road transportation & highways under which they are bound. People don't complain that's why they take advantage. The dealers can't sell the car which is more than 90 days after that there are bound pay the penalties to the company where they buy the cars in lot. people just face the issue and leave one dealership then shift to other dealers where they also perform the same thing unless you aware of VIN no. and tyre year
Last year manufactured vehicle would benefit only for those who keeps their vehicle for 9-10 years. not for those who would keep on changing vehicle within 2-3 years.
