Instead of calling the whole thing BS, they should have suggested hull replacement and new carbon fibre hulls after analysing the damage the carbon fibre was taking in each dive to make it safer. Pointing at problems is easy, providing solutions is hard.

I assume all his passengers signed the waivers which relieves his company of liability. I’m not sure who gets the bill for the rescue attempt.

My personal conviction is that there are a lot of lapses of authorities in this accident.
