Pieing the corner, crosshair placement, staying farther away from cover so you get a better angle, using cover, disengaging fights you'll lose to reposition, and not throwing your life away will get anyone in a great spot for any fps. You definitely know your stuff.
I'd add that there's was NO communication! Not even pinging. True, we should all be aware, but it's much easier to make decisions with more information.

The idea you mention about not being predictable and peeking different angles is something I am continuously working on. It seems against my instinct, and I just want to peek right back out. Idk if this is a hot take or not but if you’re not communicating (calling out or at the very least pinging) then go play casual. It doesn’t make sense to me, especially at these lower levels. Halo is a TEAM based game. Notice how at 24:07 when he gets the assist you hear him angrily say “god”. There’s no reason to be getting upset about that he had good team shots on the guy that’s exactly what you want to happen.
@@VanadamYT I tried testing the bullet pattern a while ago and it was 3 holes in a straight line up, whether scoped or not.. does it turn to random when you aim at someone? Good content btw

i'm plat 1 rn and what i've gotten is look with crosshair,check corners, ads when other team is father, map awareness, look at where teammates are to see where they spawn, longer straff crouch,go around corners around the middle of the corner, turn down shake, stand father away

For those of you that have a hard time with gunfights (mainly 1v1s). I HIGHLY recommend playing w/ a controller that has paddles. Although aim assist has always been strong in Halo, actually “aiming” is something most people do not consider. With the addition of having a controller that has paddles, you are able to simultaneously strafe/crouch strafe & shoot. Gunfights become rhythm based after 1k+Hrs of practice w/ paddles. It becomes even easier to mirror your enemies when you get good at it. You aren’t thinking about the fight anymore….you should be counting. “1, 2, 3, 4” “1, 2….3..4” “1, 2, 3…4”.
people don't realise diamond is roughly top 23% so youre actually the top 3 players in a room of 30 people. diamond players are competent just inconsistent at applying principles all the time. also remember that as games get older then population gets better!
This dudes are so lucky, I will queued to diamond with the brs when I came back in s4. Good luck getting through platinum with the bandit. Way too sweaty
the game is much quicker now.and poor positioning is punished very harshly. I would focus on team shooting to win in platinum. the increased damage per second would overwhelm anyone who plays alone

make sure to apply this overtime buddy, trying to do all this at once will throw your game off
