Lack of awareness is the biggest annoyance I have in platinum, common sense stuff like when to run flags, when to rotate ball that sorta thing I can excuse. I can even excuse not hearing footsteps since the audio for them is so scuffed, but I can't excuse somebody running around ignoring enemy pings and your teammate in an active firefight in front of you. Case in point I was playing this map here last night in Slayer, it's the last 10ish kills and I'm pinned in plaza by a guy on the ledge who I've gotten weak but I'm nearly dead too. I've been pinging this guy for the whole engagement and a teammate walked in while we were exchanging gunfire and I thought he would get involved or even just look that way, instead he looked at the LR hall and kept right on his way - blinders completely on.
@@XXSynapticneuronXX same. Even if there’s 1 second left on an oddball or a clear flag cap and they just leave it though they’re right on it. Ranking up is a hard thing for a high platinum player.
@@SHDWPN omg the worst. Yeah platinum is so weird because there are so many bad players and decent players that the way they make teams are always unbalanced and i get so many games against decent players with brain dead teammates. Atleast in diamond everyone is decent so games are never lost due to brainless teammates.
The Paralax thing is irrelevant when one player is near cover and the other is not. You always want to be the player close to cover, since this gives you control over the engagement.
kind of. if you're closer, you have control, but if you're too close, then you physically can't see the opponent, and they can see you. try it with your friends in a custom. get them to send you a screenshot of their POV vs yours
That's crazy that is a Plat 5 lobby, because my lobby also in the same rank is not anything like this. I think mine is a smurf lobby. I wish my lobbies were this easy. I have played in my lobby, and in a 1500 Onyx lobby with some friends in ranked (they let me hop on a 1500 alt account), and the lobby felt exactly the same, with the exception that the strats are a bit different, and Onyx players play faster more spread out and more fluid. But my lobby feels like a high Diamond lobby where people are doing rigid setups, walking, and covering crosses, but very rarely are they not paying attention, and I can get an easy back smack. Sometimes, but not very often. Usually, it is 2 or 3 smurfs and 1 trash player on the enemy team, I almost never face a regular Platinum skilled team in full composition. There is usually 1 or 2 Diamonds in the mix either on their main accounts, or on smurfs. My account was Diamond 2 peak, was Diamond 1 at the reset this last update.
@@OneProN00B Yes and No. Yes about the matchmaking, but no, they don't consider the MMR as much. They do, but only for that level of CSR. So, if you have Onyx MMR you won't fight Onyx players on smurfs if there are none at your CSR rank, you will face the hardest enemies they can find for your rank, but smurfs can work if the lobby doesn't have anyone as good as you at that level.
Spawning u turn tells you your team has taken no map, is dead, roaming the center of the map while looking into the center map. If your alive team has taken no anchors, isnt looking at one, you will squad proximity spawn with them. Worse than being in a spawn trap as this is truly self inflicted.
Old school Shane Dawson haircut lol. Jk Jokes aside, good video. Don't generally watch this type of content but as a competitive Halo player back in the day these were good tips.
As always, love the content. Already looking forward to the next one

This is the realest thing I’ve heard
@@SHDWPN It's unfortunate how real it is tbh. It makes me wonder how these people make it into Platinum
My biggest pet peeve is platinum players who actually have decent mechanics and win fights but make no effort to play objective effectively.

the hair looks so good bro
lol 😆 fuck halo imma make a hair channel
The amount of back smacking that hasn’t resulted in an insta death for me lately is crazy.
on stream i often have moments of "how was that not a ninja"

As the population gets lower, smurfs are becoming a bigger and bigger problem
Smurf accounts don't work.... They match teams up based on csr and that secret mmr.

old habits die hard. I think I've rocked this type of hairstyle since 2008 lmao. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@VanadamYT no shame in that. I'm glad you didn't take my joke the wrong way. I definitely can't hate I was an emo kid. 😆
@tylertesla3678 not at all haha I think I would be very upset if I had it cut off 😂
Bro I'm low silver. I don't even belong in the ranked Playlist. Which is why 80% of the time I'm playing the predictable chaos that is firefight.
hey I loved firefight in H3 ODST
Plat players are complete garbage, it's not hard to beat them.
and who tf are you big man?
depends. id probably be mid diamond if i wasnt playing from australia on 300+ ms
@crackedpepper9116 nah doesn't depend. Plat player are literally garbage. They all lack game sense.
@@KILLSHOTSolo I verse some plats from Australia for money. Those guys can cook in a 1v1. You’re missing my point.
I mean "garbage" is purely contextual I've been onyx in every game you could and I think I'm garbage so...
