    last year my wife decided to she wanted to learn how to ride bikes. she ordered a honda navi, so i told her i would get a mini moto to ride with her. Was looking for a grom or z125, at the time none were in any dealers and a long wait to get one. The last dealer we checked had the cfmoto bikes in stock . We went with a papio . Was very hesitant and it actually turned out to be a great bike. Fast forward to this spring she learned how to use clutch and she is now in the process of getting a 650nk.

      Okay so zx4rr 10k bike weighs 414lbs 50hp (in USA) 75 (unlocked)
      Cf 450ss 370lbs (45lb lighter) 50hp can probably drop a bit more weight give it 10-15 more hp with a full exhaust and tune. Cost is 5500 dollars msrp otd probably 6500...
      Honestly looks better as well and comes in more color options. Even the regular ninja 400 costs more.
      All cf needs to do is come out with a 75hp inline 4 for 6500msrp. In the 450ss chassis and it's wraps. You get way more as well with the cf moto

    I am abroad in the Philippines and have the 400 NK Black with Neon Green decals, beautiful bike. It has Bocshe fuel injection ,dual overhead cams JJaun brakes that is now owned by Brembo, JJaun braided brake lines which are top of the line. These bikes come with so many good quality goodies and the price is unbeatable for what your getting. At around 5000 to 6000 rpm the bike comes alive and the power comes on. Today 4/29/24, I test rode a 2023 ADVentra 650. They are offering $1000 discount. So, $5,500 plus ttl…out the door price. Shad panniers are included. Nice bike for the money. The thing I didn’t like was the plastic fairings are thin and finish work is a cheaper material. In my opinion they aren’t the same quality as Yamaha or Honda. After 20 years of use they won’t hold up the same or command the same resale value. The value here is a lower entry price and 2 year warranty.

    Easily if the 450SS is bulletproof reliable and with it's looks, it'll be the best beginner sportbike. Legit fender eliminator, aftermarket exhaust and Rizoma stealth mirrors and it'll be perfect.

    • @Frank_Torre
      @Frank_Torre Год назад +2

      @@JessicaSimonson1976 I always modify my bikes. I think one of the ugliest things is that awful tail put on every bike. So fender eliminator and I always go for a aftermarket exhaust as you can save a ton of weight over the restricted stock exhaust, then ditch the stock mirrors as their overly heavy and I've become used to shoulder checks so usually don't have mirrors. That weight saving makes the bike much more flickable and responsive, which improves the ride be it city riding or technical mountain twisty riding.

    • @JessicaSimonson1976
      @JessicaSimonson1976 Год назад

      @@Frank_Torre the mirrors integrate front turn signals in them to put them at approaching traffic level. Plus factory exhaust isn't that restricted.....designed to work with bike. Most aftermarket exhaust sound and look like crap cheaply made. Really 56.00 for a slip on?

    • @Frank_Torre
      @Frank_Torre Год назад

      @@JessicaSimonson1976 You can relocate the turn signals. As for the stock exhaust you can easily save 10+ lbs by switching to a aftermarket exhaust and yes if you buy a cheap exhaust it's gonna sound like crap. Which is why you can't go wrong with either Yoshimura, SC Project or Akrapovic. And yes stock exhausts are restrictive as they set to meet emissions standards.

    I'd be tempted to take the crossplane engine one, or wait for the 450NK, bc I think I had enough of 180° powerplants.. I also did my A(unlimited) licence on a 180° 650cc, but there are always surprises.
    The 650 180° has to be revved WAY higher to feel the power vs the linear power axis of the 450 crossplane, that's why I'm a *huge* CP fan.
    I'm waiting for the 450NK
    I'd take the 450SS because when the 450NK arrives -- riders will JUMP on the 450SS to buy it from ya so switching to the 450NK should be a breeze

    Ah yes The CF Moto Data collection bike. I was super excited about the 450SS until i did my own research on the bike and the company. "Make them an offer they cant refuse" Just know when you purchase this bike with all the "Technology Advantages" your directly feeding real time information to the Chinese government. The only thing you need to ask yourself is why they would want that information and what they plan to do with it. Purchase one-dont purchase one, all the same in my book but people should really know what lays in the fine print of the terms and services of the Cf moto rider app that IS 1000% HAVE TO HAVE in order to use what "TECHNOLOGY ADVANTAGES" this bike supposedly has. Say what you want to me but at least be informed before you make an opinion about facts. They dont get enough credit, crafty people i tell you. Crafty....

    So you are saying that you had more fun riding a Chinese bike that costs 1/5 what a Harley does? My Local Power Sports Dealer that started selling Chinese bikes during the Plandemic when all of the jap Brands and KTM's were sold out. They sell Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki , KTM & Indian for starters..
    The Chinese bikes they were selling then looked like Honda Clones of air cooled dirt bikes.. they were white and orange ..
    If you sold your Harley you would probably have enough cash to buy three Chinese bikes or more .
