This interview was conducted on 6/22/11 on the campus of Stanford University's School of Medicine. I interviewed Dr King as part of the larger Documentary, Yoga in the Shadows. Here is this clip, Dr King talks about how treatment is influenced by the pharmaceutical industry. "Yoga cannot be marketed through a drug company." There is no financial motivation in the private sector to finance studies. There needs to be more research conducted into Yoga intervention.
