I found Several notebooks with the slant D ring that were filled with crafty instructions, pictures and stuff from bygone days. Initially I wanted just the notebooks, but the contents have turned out to be a treasure trove. I love your ideas, and I can’t wait to get started!
I collect used ring bound planners from charity shops , i use them for junk journaling and glue booking and as very pretty notebooks . Your videos are giving me so many ideas thank you from England..
Loving the size of this journal! and great use of all the collections you pulled papers from...they mesh so well. (old with new wonderful) Kudos and Cheers!
Omg..I know this was from 6 years ago but came up in my reccomend. I literally just won one of these on a Goodwill auction!! I bid on it with the intention of using it for a a junk album for our trip to Disney next year!!!if you are still on here what was the name of the reproduction stationary book?
I'm not sure what I was using back then (this is an old video!), but now I use Scotch white glue, and Beacon 3-in-1 glue (it's like FabritTac). I also use a double sided tape at times.
Thank you so much. What do you want to know how to do? The covers, or the pages? I just covered a binder with pretty papers and decorated it. Since it was a tall binder and the paper wouldn't wrap around, I covered it with 2 pieces of paper and covered the seam with trim. I've never done a tutorial video, but if there is something in particular you want me to show, I will try.
The papers that you hoard I hope you copied them so you will always have them/as template. Plus in a editing software you can change a blk. & wht. Imprint to a red or blue or brown imprint to your liking.
Gorgeous and elegant!
Thank you! 😊

luv the books you pulled from. The Orlando library has book sales and plan to use those books for some journals. your journal is great. tfs
very cute!
I want to make a junk journal with actual journal entries (writing)
How do I go about writing and still having things glued on?
How do you cover your notebook with paper? Modpodge, glue, do you ruff up the cover so the paper adheres better? So cute! TfS

Yet another similarity. I also adore Norman Rockwell's art. Hmmmmm, how do you feel about Peanuts?
Thank you. I will be uploading the 2nd part tonight. It takes about 8 hours to upload!
👍
What kind of glue do you use? Some of my glue because it's water based wrinkles the pages. Yours looks great.

The covers
Well, I have never done a tutorial, but I will think about showing how I do the covers. Thank you for your interest!

That's cool. I have a lot to learn!
No sound
I'm sorry you couldn't hear it. I can hear it on my computer. Not sure what happened on your end! I hope you try again.
Put your camera above you, looking down at your hands.
