Diane, seeing your loaf box of scripture cards brought back warm memories. Growing up we had this same box and each family member took turns every night reading a card before dinner. I’ve never seen another one. You have so many lovely goodies!
Nice memories! A family from the church I grew up with had the "Bread of Life" scripture cards on their table. I was so delighted to this at the flea market this past summer.
Diane: viewers probably forget that a professional business woman needs a lot more tools, papers, and other things so they can create their unique journals and all that goes with that. You are very organized and manage to control what you buy and sell in a balanced manner. That takes time, effort and work. It comes with the territory. Kudos to you. Most impressed! Carol from California
Thanks for sharing your room of creativity. I love it. I really like the variety of organizational containers that you use. It makes the space so much more warm and inviting than having everything matching. It really reflects the basic idea of junk journaling of reuse, recycle and repurpose. I have been watching you for years since I started down the path of junk journaling and enjoy watching your creative ideas. Going to watch Part 2 next.
Enjoyed the first part of your tour. If you have time to share the collection of Mary Poppins items, I’d love to see it. And if you have a video about how to use fabric yo-yos that would be great. I have some but don’t know what to do with them. ❤❤❤
Wow! What an amazing job you've done utilizing your space. That is a lot of work and thought! And oh my gosh! Theater film from Harry Potter. That is so very cool!
Happy Sunday Diane💞 Awesome space, love all your organizing ideas especially the over the door pockets. Thanks for sharing, hope your having a nice day. Stay warm, big hugs 🤗
Oh I am so impressed! Congratulations on being so organized and I so enjoyed just seeing your system in normal, accessible containers and furniture. I personally don’t enjoy all the white IKEA furniture. It was great to see all your categories. I am not as detailed, for sure. I can’t seem to put things away in detailed categories, so I have large, very general categories, haha. But I am impressed. Very useful video Diane. Thank you so much for showing us. (Looking forward to the next video).
@ Yes actually. I went through quite a process of figuring out what works for me a couple of years ago. My daughter-in-law helped me think it through. And it has worked really well. Except for scrap paper and ephemera, haha. But I have that worked out now, pretty much. I have a playlist of several videos. I think about two years ago.
I love looking at craftroom tours because I get ideas of how to organize my craftroom. I am waiting to see how you organize your paper scraps. I have one rolling cart full and I mostly use what I keep in one plastic shoebox. My room is 10 x 12 and the closet has shelves and I have cabinets in the garage and some boxes in my closet. I am looking forward to part 2 . ❤❤❤
I love all of your vintage tins and the creative way you've displayed everything! Thank you for sharing! It's very inspiring and you've given us so many good organization ideas. 💕
Hi Vickie, I am a newbie here. I was reading the comments, and I so relate to you. I am in the same boat. I have a little room and a lot of stuff. My husband doesn't think I can possibly put it all in my room, but I am determined to do it. 😊
I enjoyed seeing this Diane! I think every thing you have done is amazing. My craft room is pretty good but I'm not nearly finished. I took a lot of inspiration from you today and I thank you for sharing your space with us!
I'd like to see your personal milk cap collection. I haven't seen all your videos...why did you get rid of most of your Christmas stuff? Loved the tour. 🩷🙏
I'd love to show my milk cap collection! As for the Christmas supplies, I've made multiple Christmas journals every year for over 10 years, and it's gotten so that I feel like it's an interruption of working through my list of journals to make, in order to spend a month making Christmas journals. Maybe I will want to make them again sometime, but I can buy some new Christmas stamps. Thanks for watching the tour!
Lots of work organizing everything. And remembering where it is. I’ve been doing all of that recently. I’m just starting to do junk journals. I’m a bit overwhelmed. What do you do with the stuff that doesn’t fit in a category? Thanks for showing your room and organization.
I'm not sure what kinds of things you are thinking of, that don't fit in a category. Could you have a "catch-all" drawer or box? Like a kitchen junk drawer.
Love how visible everything is. I like my things where I can see them and grab them also. How do you keep your cards and ephemera from getting dusty though?
Diane, you have a lovely well organized craft room. And a lot of staff to be used. I'm also organizing things in my crafting space, yesterday only got the buttons sorted! Have a wonderful Sunday my friend!
I started watching but have to stop. Wow! I made it to the spot where you said you had to edit out some vid. You’re very organized and it’s impressive in that it also looks reachable and doable! I have a question - the white metal tin w the red edged top - do you know what it’s original purpose was? I have one from my grandmother and my mother said it was a refrigerator tin. Someone else in the fam seemed to think it has a medical use background. I’d like to know just to know. 😉 Anyway - I’ll get back and see the rest. Oh, I don’t know if you can use this idea, but for lighter weight objects on walls T-pins work very well in sheet rock. They actually hold more weight than you’d think but I would be cautious about the weights if you use any. 😊❤
@ you’re welcome. And thanks. I did get back to watch the rest too. Haven’t seen part two yet. I was encouraged by the fact I have some things organized (slightly) like you do. I seem to always reorganize. I don’t have much of some things and then too much of other stuff that’s difficult to manage (fabrics). Oh and the wrapping paper from Amazon!🤣❣️. Oh the t-pins should tap in at an angle. I like that turning the “T” allows for different type hooks. And barely visible holes in the wall - I’m always rearranging.
I have done multiple Christmas journals every year for over 10 years, so I decided to just keep making journals from my long list of journals to make, at least for this year. I did sell all of my Christmas supplies, including the rubber stamps. If I do decide to make Christmas journals another year, I can start over with new Christmas stamps. Thanks for the question!
Makes sense. I have to have a system that I can maintain. If it's over organized, or categorized, it becomes too hard to put things away. I need to be able to just open a drawer and put stuff in it.
I am so impressed. I’m glad it’s not another IKEA cookie cutter craft room. This is so unique and doable.
Thank you! I can't afford Ikea, and there are no Ikeas near me. I've never been to one!

Thank you for this Carol. You are right; my needs are different from a crafter that doesn't sell.
What a great room! You have really motivated me to try to organize the crafty chaos that I have! I now have some great ideas!
Hooray! Good luck, and be patient! You'll get there!
Wow 🤩 This is fabulous and inspiring. Love to see how others organize. I like the baby supply door organizer. Thanks Diane and happy crafting! ❤😊
I enjoyed seeing all your organization. You have so many neat supplies. TYFS

Wow, lots to play with and so organized! You have some cool stuff, Diane! ❤❤❤
Nicely organized. I myself must have all visible or forget I have it.😂. So nice to see your area.
That's why I forget about things! But I have too much stuff to keep it all in view.

Thank you so much! Yes, everyone has to do what works for them! Have you ever done a craft room tour?

@@BeAgainBooks great! I’ll look for them. Scraps and ephemera storage are our bane!
What an awesome craft room! You are so organized! I’m looking forward to the next video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
An organized space is a happy place! Love it. ❤
I love this little saying 😍! I need to keep this close because it is so true!
Yes! Thank you!
I enjoyed watching your Craft Room tour, part one. It is very organized with all your lovely and treasured collections. Thank you for sharing.

Diane - Your craft room is beautiful. I love how organized it is. I love taking a peek at all of your fun supplies. xo Mary
Thank you so much, Mary!
I love all your vintage storage pieces. You have an awesome room.
You’re very organized! My space is even smaller. I’m still trying to organize it! Thanks for the tour! ❤

I love your craft room! It’s organized really well. 😊

Lovely craft room tour. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Love how visible everything is. I like my things where I can see them and grab them also. How do you keep your cards and ephemera from getting dusty though?
I don't notice a problem with dust in my ephemera boxes. Maybe because I handle them enough? Not sure
Diane, you have a lovely well organized craft room. And a lot of staff to be used. I'm also organizing things in my crafting space, yesterday only got the buttons sorted! Have a wonderful Sunday my friend!
Enjoy the process of organizing your stuff!
I'm late to this video, but I'm in love with your storage containers, where did you find those flowered long boxes with your lace trims???
The long boxes are glove boxes, found at flea markets!
@DianeHubertPrettyPinkCottage thank you!!!

Thank you for the T-pin tip. I do not know what the white enamel tin with the lid was for, but I tend to think it was a refrigerator tin.

Did I hear you say you’re not doing Christmas anymore?
I have done multiple Christmas journals every year for over 10 years, so I decided to just keep making journals from my long list of journals to make, at least for this year. I did sell all of my Christmas supplies, including the rubber stamps. If I do decide to make Christmas journals another year, I can start over with new Christmas stamps. Thanks for the question!
Also, I have a tendency to “over organize”, if that makes sense? 🫣
