    Those old Briggs's are bulletproof. Have the exact engine on an old 70's roper tractor, that thing will mow through 6" of grass and barely break a sweat doing it.

    I just picked one up today. Cool old motor. I may build a grown mans go-cart with it as the heart.

    I love the little mini pops and backfires these make when you rev them. I had one on my Gravely 8163. I sold that tractor but that engine was so worn out that it practically backfired all the time.

      I always thought that was cool too. Every one I have ever had has done this. I love these engines. I still have 6 of them now. I just picked one up again a few weeks ago at my junk yard. Model 19 if I recall correctly

    I have the same motor on my chipper and the muffler is shot good to see that type will fit they want $70 for the square one that is on it

      If I recall correctly it is just a 1 inch pipe nipple and a Kohler muffler.
