Although Oichi was forced to marry Nagamasa by her brother Nobunaga, they had fallen in love and had 4 children (3 female & 1 male). Such harsh life from the past.
It's sad they never deepen the relationship between Katsuie Shibata and Oichi in Samurai Warriors games. Oichi really cared about him too, and his death eventually broke her

Looking back at it now, the English dub is pretty rough around the edges. So much that Samurai Warriors 4 & it's expansions are dubbed entirely in Japanese.

At least she remarried with Shibata bread and they lived happily ever... oh wait. She had a habit of being trapped in castles under siege it seems. Her eldest daughter even more so, having been trapped in a castle under attack on 3 occasions. She wouldn't survive the third.
I loved their story when I first played it as a teen back on 360, I actually made an OC based on Nagamasa’s personality and had Nagamasa be his father as a secret child 🤣🤣🤣

Nagamasa and Oichi are such a depressing couple in this series, even more than Liu Bei and Sun Shangxiang in DW5.
Liu bei and shang xiang is lovely but kinda cheesy in MY opinion,while oichi and nagamasa's love story is so heartbreaking and very romantic
