I'd love to see some of the new characters with the serious and well made drama of SW2. Kagekatsu Uesugi, Sanada, Mori, Hojo, Shimazu and Tachibana families are just some of those who are supposed to be deeper than how it's going in 3 and 4. SW2 had a scene where Kanetsugu was about to kill himself after the Western Army's defeat, that Uesugi drama and the decision to submit to Ieyasu is something so deep and underrated thanks to the shallow portrait of Kagekatsu in recent Samurai Warriors.

Well yes in my opinion, they are still pretty simple hack and slash games but the battles, characters and music are quite amazing ! The only thing i dislike of the game it's the lack of a japanese language option like Dynasty Warriors 4, but that's a personal taste.

Don't think he ever used a real gun himself as this game and Nobunaga's Ambition are more historically accurate than compared to Onimusha and Sengoku Basara (which is what you might be thinking of)
