Agree with the need to put our money where our mouths are and buy the things we have been calling for studios to release, it really helps that this is a fantastic movie. Can't wait for my copy to be delivered

Pre ordered this right away. I was worried this would not get a physical release because it was made for a streaming service but thankfully it did. I pre ordered the mandalorian as well. Keep home theaters alive!

I didn’t love it the first time I saw it, but I decided to buy this to complete my Predator collection and support physical media. Now we need Disney to show some love to the 20th Century Fox back catalog!

I'm excited to experience the comanche audio with this release. Never seen it with it before. My copy ships this Tuesday.
Too bad they forgot to add regular English subs... so you're basically forced to watch it with the English SDH subtitles... The descriptive bits are rather annoying if you don't want them :( It's the same issue on Disney+/Hulu.
This is (surprisingly) one of my favorite films out of the Predator franchise. I thought the story was such a fresh take. The scenery was gorgeous as well. Happy to hear they did a good job getting it to physical. Definitely will be buying! 😄

Preordered my steelbook copy from Best Buy as soon as they went up for order and it should be here Tuesday. I enjoyed the movie to begin with, and I definitely want to show my support for them releasing this on physical media.

Just got back from seeing The Creator. That’s a movie that 100% needs to come to 4K! If the initial release is on bluray only, there’s no way I’m buying it. They’re not gonna double dip me lol

I guess losing subscription base gave Disney an asskicking towards phyiscal media. Not bad choice though, some other big studios could learn to pay attention towards home media.
Well it makes sense that they would give streaming the best opportunity to succeed while they could. Even now, all of these streaming services aren't going to release just any and everything on physical for the sake of feeling like that have to leave some enticing things exclusive to their digital platform.
So happy they finally put this out! Loved Prey! Now give us Barbarian…

The first time I watched this film on Hulu, I immediately knew it was gonna be added to the collection. It took a long time to get it but I am happy it is here. Pre ordered along with The Mist. It really brought a new breathe to this franchise. Bringing new ideas, but remaining familiar. I am just hoping to get Predators with a rerelease in 4K. Besides the 4 movie collection, you can’t find it anywhere else and it isn’t in 4K.
Funny you should mention 'The Mist.'. I watched it recently on TV after reading a lot of really positive reviews about it and thought that it was excellent. What a dark ending 'The Mist.' has!
Prey is a very good film, easily the best Predator movie since the original. Great to see it on disc.

Oh nooooo, this looks great. Got to watch in Comanche for first time. The video is very crisp and the Atmos was awesome. The forest sounds, aircraft, and the opening with her throwing the axe-Wow. I have middle and back high speakers and it was immersive.

Great review. Does the Comanche track also come with Atmos? I thought the Comanche version was far superior to the English one.
This is probably my third favorite Predator movie. 1&2 are my top 2 (in order) and this squeaked ahead of Predators because that one rehashed way too many of the beats from Predator 1.

I received my copy today. I had to import the disc from the UK as the physical release didnt land in Australia. Just went with the standard bluray this time. Picture encoding is quite good. Clean and crisp. Its a little disappointing that the atmos audio track is not included on the bluray version, but the dts-hd master is decent enough. Nice addition to the collection.

This is the best Predator movie, i just love Prey, number one is also great, but the camera work on this one is just so awesome, and when the action gets going it never lets up. Thank you for your review.

I'm sticking with the 1080p disc because for me the 4K disc is too dark. Also; I actually think that even the 1080p disc looks a little better than the Streaming version on Disney+.
Since I received my 'Prey.' disc and having already watched the Film multiple times on Disney+, I find it even more rewatchable on disc!
I agree that 'Prey.' might just be the best Predator movie!
I only ever watch the Comanche language version and although I think that the English language version is OK, I find it odd that it features the occasional word spoken in Comanche! I find it a bit jarring and illogical.

I was sad to see that the Steelbook wouldn’t be released in Canada. Picked up the 4K today locally. Sadly enough there were no slip covers for the 4K discs but the store had BEAUTIFUL slip covers for the Blu Ray version. Let’s just say there might be one Blu Ray copy with no slip cover now at the store :)

Just this week, walking into my local Target, they are what looks like going from an approximate 16ft and two end caps for movies, to possible one 4ft section. A big “re-org” is what we used to call it at Best Buy when they did the same with CD’s years ago. Anyways, I feel pretty lucky that Dan Tratchenberg and the fans were so vocal about wanting a physical release. That left over four foot section will undoubtedly be reserved for the newest marvel release or family movie, but this one is for the other guys! P.S. would have been awesome to include some commentary from the SFX artists on different sequences! But thats just getting too wishful lol.

When I watched this on Hulu I loved it, but I had no HDR and 5.1 dolby digital only, it was not the greatest experience, looking forward to the disc!
