Am I the only one that feels that the sounds of nature feature would just put me to sleep?
I remember when Hyundai was laughed at. They were such cute, little 'tin cans'. When they hit big dogs, the dogs usually won.
But not anymore!!
That is one amazingly packed vehicle for under $50,000!!! They've thought about just about everything and it looks like they've come up with a true winner of a vehicle!!
Kudos Hyundai. You've earned it!
My sister has a 2019 Elantra and she absolutely loves it! Been perfectly reliable, gets great fuel mileage, very comfortable - just a total winning package!
I own a body shop, and they are a pain in the ass to get parts for. Not to mention they have mastered the art of "false quality". They are dressed up junk. I'm sure lots of people will argue, but give it time. Eventually people will realize these Kias and Hyundais are just pigs in a tuxedo.

Just got ours last week! So pumped
My wife and I just bought a Toyota 4Runner. It does not have 1/2 of these features. When it’s my turn for a vehicle, this SUV is at the top of the list.
The 4runner will last quite sometime without any issues once you do basic maintenance. Only time will tell with this new kia. 4runner is more for off-roading. This competes more with highlander

Picking up a used 2021 Palisade Caligraphy on Saturday after doing a lot of research. I was completely sold on the BMW X7 previously but not for double the price of the Palisade. I've watched several review videos but this one is the best for unlocking all of the features of the system. Great job Jesse!

Is it true that the palisade has a (garlic) smell in the headrests?
I am really digging the Palisade Calligraphy and i will be buying one after the new year
Two more: if you use the paddle shifters to change gears and want to reset it to "D", hold the right paddle for 2 seconds. Lastly, if you have to access your windshield wipers to change them or pull them away due to upcoming ice, with your car recently shut off hold the wiper level up for 2 or 3 seconds.

The last hint about using a mechanical key was very worthwhile. Camera view should have been on the other side of the door handle at the beginning.

2020 Palisade, Apple car play….mine loses the Heads up display. So , now, no HUD when I connect Apple car play. Does yours also lose hud?

Just love our Palisade and enjoy the technology of this beautiful SUV 🚙 and didn’t know about the seat folding from the Home Screen 📺 Palisades so worth the money and features are above more expensive SUVs.

@@toigassieloua4133 i just bought the 2022 Palisade Calligraphy 2 weeks ago. Had to pay 55k due to high demand. But i talked them up an extra 2k on my 2013 Jaguar XF trade in value to help offset the 5k market adjust. So i paid 3k over MSRP. Not ideal but it is what it is. Very happy so far.

Great info! I just bought the palisade calligraphy.. THE sales ppl here in Atlanta need more training on all these features. They were clueless. I have had mine for 6 months but still unable to get used to the GPS. Had no idea how that you have to hold down the "pause" button to clear it. Maybe you can do include in video.

Can you please say honestly how Hyundai Palisade v6 gdi engine is? Is this very good quality v6 engine? Will this engine run 500k to 600k km? I want to know because I have a confusion to choose from Hyundai Palisade V6, Volkswagen Atlas sel V6, and Honda Pilot Elite V6, please give me the right information because I want to choose a V6 car which will run perfectly 500k to 600k km without any big issues
Another hidden detail is the custom button. I programmed my "passenger talk" to the custom button. So no need to scroll thru the menus, just one touch of a button.

What trim level and options are these available in?
Calligraphy is the top trim, most of these features are available in all trim. The lowest trim have 8p seat but all other above it have 7 seat. Just to name one significant difference
8 seater is also available on the SEL with proper trim packages. But yes, only captains chairs avail on limited and Calligraphy.

I wouldn’t mind seeing that. I would be surprised if it didn’t have that because even my old 2013 Camry has the option to turn off the display until activated again.
Yes. It does have. I added it onto my favourite button on the dashboard so I can turn the display on/off with just one button click.
It does. Click "Menu" and then click Screen off

I have the 2020 SEL, I wish they had the Sounds of Nature.
Wish they had the bigger screen but the SEL's screen and features are literally the same as the Ltd but doesn't have many of the functions of the Limited's screen.

I have 2021 palisade sel with convience pkg, it does not have the automatic seat folding feature. So its not all palisades!

These features are only for the Limited and Calligraphy models. Gotta pay 10k more for these features.

Why is there no wireless CarPlay available ? Seems silly that the car has a wireless charger yet you need a wire to use CarPlay!
@@arronmiller7229 base has it. SEL, Limited and Calligraphy do not. 🤷
@@jasonshroot1607 both upper model trims have wireless CarPlay. I use it all the time in my Limited
Calligraphy doesn’t have wireless CarPlay option as the screen size is bigger .
They did away with the wireless CarPlay in the 2022 model. You now have to use the wire. I thought that was ridiculous but I got over it quickly.

Sounds of nature…….so is the driver hearing something else or do you want to put him/her to sleep? Sometimes I think people forget that cars are made to drive…..they are not living rooms or bedrooms.
I have a toddler and I love the sounds of nature feature.

Hidden detail: No auto folding mirror
Is that not just RIDICULOUS?? My wife has a ‘22 Calligraphy that will barely fit through our garage door (individual doors) meanwhile, my Kia stinger has power folding mirrors and so does the Telluride.
None of this is useful if you have a base model.
NO POWER FOLDING MIRRORS!!!🤬🤬🤬
