Thanks for watching!
This lady has more common sense than 99% of the population, good for her, I’m sure she’ll be fine while having lots of fun.
She was, like all of us indoctrinated into the system but she was brave enough to get out because lots of us don’t fit into their system. Great video Bob. Cheers!!!
To be fair, van-life wasn't really a thing back when I was "indoctrinated into the system". I've only really become aware if it in the last several years and only due to RUclips.
Nice to see someone who hasn't stylized their camper too much. The fact that she accepted a little 70s style and just concentrated on living her life and not spending months personizing it to her taste makes it more attainable to the average person.
I honestly prefer the 70s style and I'm only 19
Even though this vid is 5yrs. pass, I still enjoyed every bit of it! Kudos to Miss Becky, being such a strong, wise young lady, & taking on a challenge of living a solo female traveler lifestyle!
Becky seems like a very nice down to earth person so it makes me a little sad that she is pretty much alone all of the time, but if she is happy that way then it's great. She seems like she would make a great friend though. The Casita is VERY nice! She has room for everything she needs and then some.
Thanks for having Becky in this video and hope to see her again someday!

@Penny Harris Thank you so much for the info Penny. I hadn't even caught her channel name while watching. Do you know the name of her blog? I wonder what made her want to go smaller? Did she start to feel like the Casita wasn't for her anymore? Thanks again Penny and hope to "see"' you on here again sometime! 🙂
Maybe she's an introvert? Introverts (like myself) prefer being alone! Marriage was just more baggage for me. 🤷
"Security cameras keep other people honest" that is sad but it's true. We should be honest no matter what or who is looking.
You're absolutely right and it is sad that people are willing to be bad if there's no accountability
That's called having integrity
This has been one of my favorite interviews with plenty of information, please do an update.
Loved hers. This is how you do it. I would like to do this one day. It's having a cat & the toilet situation.
She is an absolute sweetheart
Love Becky's set-up - very simple and clean! She's so articulate, too - a pleasure watching this interview!
I noticed some people were commenting about how to launder your clothes and not liking to go to the laundry mat. A 5 gallon bucket and a lid with a small hole in the center of the lid. A clean toilet plunger with 3 to 5 small holes around the top of the rubber part. Add water and small amount of Dr. Bronner's soap and dirty clothes. Start plunging. Rinse and repeat. Hang to dry. Well la, clean clothes. There is also the Wonderwash Non-electric Portable Compact Mini Washing Machine sold on Amazon or eBay. I find most things are actually cheaper on eBay.
I still live in my apartment, but it's $6 to do a load of laundry that's way tiny. So, that's the method I use for my laundry. Works great.. Seems to be easier on my garments.
There's a contraption you can buy for laundry that is a little larger than an electric power bar (the one I saw ran on electricity, about 18" x 5" in baby blue). It sits in a bucket and gyrates to wash in soap. Dump out and rinse x 2. Hang to dry.
I like her approach ... she uses common sense and going with her gut on safety .... great thinking ...
Finally someone who tells you what the interior height of their RV is. It's very helpful for us taller folks.
Thumbs up Bob. You make EVERYONE so comfortable and at ease. I hope to meet you one day. Awesome young lady, with a head on her shoulders, very intelligent.
Wow, very nice lady living out her dreams. Freedom!!
I'm a single mom with a 25 year old daughter. I always tell her BE AWARE. That's the single best way to stay safe, know what your surroundings are!! I did alot of travel alone as a professional dog handler for past 30 years..travel and camping in my van was something I did alot of.
Is the professional dog handler similar with dog whisperer...?
Bob asks, imo, good questions and let's the interviewee talk.
She seems very normal and relaxed - I mean that as a compliment. Nice looking as well.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
@henree simp 9
Can we have an update on how she's currently doing. It would be nice to hear her views after so many years.
I agree. I tried her website as announced here..but it doesn’t load. Seems no longer viable.
agreed
Yes I would like to know how she is doing in 2024.
She is off the road and incommunicado. Don't know why. I think she is a bit of an introvert. I don't understand why the website wasn't left up, a lot of good posts there.
I get the feeling that this woman is some kind of superstar. So bright, cheerful, and articulate!
I love the honesty coming out from this lady.
Bob, you get to know the nicest people! Thanks for sharing Becky!
It's great that you remind the young people to not neglect retirement funding!
All these youngsters wanting to live off the grid...what will they do if they become disabled and never funded the SS $pool live off of society... ever hear the word "no" .. my ex hubby has 4 of the 14 impairments for disability. He paid into the $SS fool for 40 years and they have denied him his own $money 3 times in 10 years.... this is his 4th application and hes been waiting since Aug 12th without an answer about to lose his home & everything else....

What a neat set up she has. This is all one needs in life. Most people have way too much stuff. Thank you Bob for reposting. I love these kind of stories.
What a sweetheart Becky is! Her positivity is just amazing. Love her. So knowledgeable not just about solo camping, but about life in general. This video made me feel good. Thank you Bob!
Ebony I agree with you 100% girl
My husband just bought me a Castia Camper and the layout is just like yours. I am in the process of redecorating and I am so excited about it. The interview was very inspiring thank you for doing it. Bonny
That's a great little set up. Bathroom, kitchen, dining room and bedroom.
I'm retired and would have considered doing this but because I still have a minor at home and taking care of my mother with dementia I am not able to. Working at the national parks is a great idea for extra money. Thank you for sharing your story with us Becky.
Pretty lady with a great personality.
I love her camper! She is a smart lady, good for her..Go Girl!
The ladies are so gracious with the tours
❤the the video and her home. What a sweet soul. In my experience...lots if windows equals lots of energy loss. She's younger however if your older, please consider less windows. Yes. It's a sacrifice but when its 110° or -14°...you will be thankful.
Thanks Bob for keeping this older interviews uploaded. Thank you also for your endless work with this community ❤🌸👍
She kept it comfortable and simple
this lady should work for Cassita...Plus, she is super pretty...
Thanks for watching Shawn!
Wow Bob, this video was great and Becky is awesome and very knowledgeable. Really enjoyed this !
Shes got it together, shes adorable! She knows what she wants and goes for it! Great Video! Best of Luck to her with her travels!
She's no frills and loads of savvy! Love the casita❤.
Becky was cool, bob. Thanks for sharing her story with us!
great little trailer.just sold my r.pod. still got my 40 year old airstream.see you out there soon.
I love Becky! She is so full of life and energy and is such an inspiration. Thank you Bob for bringing back her story.
Really like that she said saved her money and bought trailer and truck with no debt. Also think it is great that she is following her dreams.
Very nice situp with camper. Enjoy the tour.
There's a wonderful feeling of excitement I always get when I'm traveling and hit the road.
Waking up early sipping on a good cup of coffee and occasionally meeting other Nomads and connecting with others. I'm looking forward to doing that again someday.
Some of the most interesting people live in RVs . She is really smart and sweet.
Love seeing how others live
Thanks Bob! Sometimes I think it's all a crazy dream but your videos help me stay motivated. Heck, I'm over half way there. Paid for Econoline that is in great shape and my Mr. Buddy heater just arrived this week.
Analysis paralysis gets me a lot. But it's important to also remember if it doesn't feel right to do, sometimes better timing works out.
It's difficult to tell the difference but if not inspired to do something that's nagging me, often it works out better because things fall into place later on with a much better outcome. Goes into the philosophy section for... later. :) So far so good.
Are you living your dream yet?
Very sensible and pleasant young lady! Nice rig as well.
Way to go, Becky! I just bought a 2016 Casita and am so excited to adventure with it. I don't have a microwave, and I'm torn between getting one of them or, in lieu, possibly a small toaster oven.
I watch so many of your videos Bob and I love them all but I think this is one of my absolute favorites! Maybe because I can really relate to Becky agewise and personality-wise. Thank you for always showing such a wide variety of people, personalities and ages in your videos. I hope to meet you on the road one day!
Very organized and pragmatic approach to her RV living. Probably, one of the more impressive interviews I've seen. Hope she remains happy, healthy, and safe in her continuing journey on the road.
Becky is perfectly enchanting and thoughtful. Love the simplicity, cleanliness, and relaxed quality of Becky's approach to her set-up and life. This is a particularly engaging an inspiring video. Thanks for creating and posting it!!!
I see this video is 6 years old. I couldn't get to the website she mentioned to order her book, but was able to order it on Amazon. 👏🏼
How lovely, the life obviously suits Becky , she is radiant :) great video ....
Love Becky's set-up also. It is very simple and clean! She's so articulate, too - a pleasure watching this interview!
Good video Bob, Becky”s home, and life style, makes more seance and excitement. I did
spend 6 months living in a 20’ trailer. This was on Cape Cod. I live and work on the Cape so
I was not on vacation. My dog and I loved every day we lived in that trailer !! Thanks bob and
Becky I’am all fired up to get moving !!
I miss you Becky! Enjoyed your videos and blog …
Love her! Shes has a great outlook.
Nice trailer, interview and lady.Thank you for the video..Have a blessed day..
I just love Becky! She's great on camera & boy is she intelligent! Thanks, Bob & Becky!
Becky is such a very sweet and intelligent young girl!!! Also very open and sincere person!!! Good luck to her, and thanks for another great video!!
Great trailer for single person, looks like she really enjoys her lifestyle. Becky has done her homework and good for her.
Bob, thank you for re-posting this video. I am looking at getting a Casita myself and RVing full time.
What an amazing Lady! Love her trailer and pickup.
Thanks Becky your great live the trailer is it warm in the winter.
Becky seems to be much happier since she is a working Nomad and u really like her little trailer. Thanks Bob for showing us. From Central Oklahoma
A long journey starts with the 1st step. awesome video Bob
This is so awesome. I love that she is so organized!!!! Way to go Becky!!
It's a 70s vibe I'm getting 😁😍
What a beautiful person. Really enjoyed listening to you Becky.
Becky, you're fantastic! Thank you, and thank you, Bob :)
Love Becky's trailer. thanks Becky for sharing
Analysis paralysis . After driving 1500 miles on my maiden journey I was FRIED just figuring out everything all of the time. I can’t say I even let myself enjoy it much. I rested in one place for a month and that let me get used to the Systems . The Trip got me used to hitching up and backing up and mirrors.
Rusty had a Casita Spirit Deluxe. He has a mind changer for part of his security plan. And just enough paranoia but not enough to go to the crazy house.
Great for you Becky! Enjoy life now that you are young and if you can make do and save for your future, no need to burn out like I did which has disabled me for nearly 20 years!
Another great video Bob!
Thank you, Becky, really inspiring and solid advice, too. Hope you are stil travelling happily!
Smart thinking. Saving now allows compound interest over many years. Well done.
Loved this interview! Love the Casita. Thank you Bob and Becky!
Love that saying "Analysis Paralysis!!! Good Job on interviewing Bob!! Have watched your videos and think you are one of the best interviewers in the RV RUclips community!! Thumbs up!!
Thanks, that's very kind of you to say! I appreciate it!
Becky is lovely, love her independent self and lifestyle🌞
What a nice young woman and good to see she is living happily and enjoying a nomadic lifestyle which seems to suit her well.
Such a personable lady. Very happy I can tell. Thanks for the video.
Absolutely loved Becky's Casita home👏
Bob & Becky, thank you both for sharing this inspiring video
Wow you go ! Love the fact you really know what's up and what you have that's just awesome little camper history and design construction I'm impressed .👍
becky is AWESOME!!!!!! happy travels and many blessings to sweet beck!
This set-up looks very comfortable, also LOTS of windows. I can see why she likes it.
So happy to see this video on your channel. This is the one that really got me moving!
Been following your blog. Funny thing is, I turned down a job at the same fulfillment center you are working (as a full-timer) to take a job in Kanab, UT that offered housing. My goal is to save for a van to convert and then buy a trailer!
Nice lil trailer, n Becky has a smart philosophy about living on the road. I think she’s right about her rules n I wouldn’t mind reading her book that she wrote!
Thnx for posting n good interview questions Bob!
Thanks Becky for letting Bob show us your life in your home. Very interesting.
I love this Casita!!💞
Your Casita and Dakota are both wonderful!!! I'm so happy you're living in the way that works best for you! So many people ignore that "little voice" inside and miss what would make them happiest. Most of the time outside influences have absolutely no idea what they're talking about when it comes to advice about someone else's lifestyle. They mean well though. Anyway, this is great! Thanks for the tour. Happy trails! 💗
Another very interesting video! Thank you Bob for showing us Becky's Casita. How different it is to hear from someone in their late 20's/early 30's-her perspective was really unique and different. I am definitely going to check into her blog and see about ordering her book. It sounds like she has exactly the information I am seeking.
This is so refreshing, so informative, so motivational!
You are a very smart lady. I'm going to go back on the road again in the next month. I cannot live in an apartment and be happy.
Wow...another great video Bob...Thank you to you, and to Becky, for some really great information. Solar suitcases, job tips, and Becky's e-book sounds like a great read. I will be finding it shortly. The safety tips were soooo common sense, but its always great to hear the same things from another woman...TRUST YOUR GUT!...if it doesn't feel right...MOVE ON! I can not wait to get started on my journey. It will be a little longer planning for me as I have decided to take my grand daughters out of the traditional school system for a year and travel with them. Watch for our "Girls on the Go" youtube video's...LOL...I was a little saddened by the thought of losing my dream of traveling full time when the 3 girls first came into my care...but as I got thinking about it more and more and doing more research about families that travel full time, I realized that I didn't have to give up my dream...I just had to modify it a bit. And I honestly think now that having the girls will give me such a fabulous experience. I will see things now that I may have otherwise skipped over. Home schooling them will take us to places that I never thought of. Donkey rides down the canyon, and many other experiences that will fill their home schooling experience with awe from all their friends left at home here...LOL...Your channel has been such a fabulous resource for me and I cant thank you enough for some really great video's. Looking forward to many more...Much thanks!
TY Bob for posting all these cool vids, especially asking all the right questions!
I love your channel Bob this is so fun hearing peoples stories and inspiring to know more and more people are opting for a gypsy get around lifestyle. Many good tips and lots of information. Thank you .
A Dodge Dakota pick up & then a Casita! Real good set up. Great interview Bob and Cody.
At 69 I still do one step at a time. Sometimes I write a goal, and write intermediate steps. Then take a step:)
Awww Becky is a sweet young lady. She'll be fine while she's on her adventures.
God Bless you honey🙏🏻😊🩷
👍 Love the Casita. I'm going to research those. I saw her on another channel but it was just an interview about the RV lifestyle so I'm glad to see a tour of her RV.
Yep good job realizing you wanted to travel, and going for it!
I love how uncluttered it was! Very nice.
