Best decision he ever made was to start working with weird auteur directors like Terry Gilliam and Luc Besson and Tarantino. His filmography through the 90's was epic.

Tbf his filmography only really started in 88.. And his follow up movie from Die Hard was a Norman jewison movie followed soon after by Brian de Palma.. Kinda suggests he always was drawn to both popcorn and more serious projects based on directors he was drawn to.. Pulp Fiction was only five years after Die Hard which seems weird!

I'd consider Bruce Willis to be the most iconic actor of the 90s. No other actor has as many highly acclaimed films as well as so many lesser-known yet highly regarded films within the decade.

Sad to hear about Bruce's health problems that are forcing him into retirement. As an 80's baby, I grew up watching his films. Recently rewatched The fifth element (which I've loved since my teens) And rewatched Mortal thoughts, another great film from the early 90s that stars Bruce Willis and his then wife Demi Moore. It's an underrated film, Bruce is only in the first 30 minutes, but it really shows his acting range. He plays a character that you rarely see him as, and it's overall a very intriguing movie. As for The fifth element, its amazing, but Bruce is basically just playing a futuristic John McClane in it. But it's a modern sci-fi classic, I still have the old Playstation video game of it:)

90's Bruce Willis is a badass. One the hottest stars of that time. Awesome movie too.

I remember going to see this when it first came out in theaters. Loved it! But i was always curious if Bruce meant to chuckle at the "gimme da cash" guy after he took his gun or was he not supposed to but they decided to keep it in the movie🤔

Monsters, props, backgrounds, spaceships and cars and many lines/references small details and more are from 20+ years of sci-fi movies and sci-fi TV series. Part of the fun when it came out was to see how many you could spot. the more times you see it the more you find. ''Hans Solo tried to kiss Princess Leia, she had a gun'. Tribbles falling out of a hatch Star Trek . City is Blade Runner. blue singer and small animals are Star Wars. Beginning is Stargate. drawing pictures was 3rd Encounter. big gold monster at the start is Kosh in Babylon 5. big and small scenes parodies. Bruce Willis movie parodies, many more

Kevin Smith had a hard time working with Bruce on the film "Cop Out". Ive come to the conclusion that Kevin Smith is a soy boy.
