- Running a few magazines thru my Glock P80 trying to solve some feeding and ejecting issues. I think I figured it out but will need to do a bit more work.

I'm stumped I just took my p80 to the range Glock 17 I built and had five rounds in the magazine and I pulled the trigger it shot all five rounds at once rapid fire and I don't know what the problem is? After that I would load two rounds into the magazine and it would pretty much double tap every time sometimes it works right but usually it would rapid fire or it would do double taps or triple taps if I only had two or three rounds in the magazine
that barrel move was really risky i think we can all agree on that
Theirs sand bruh
Really just sand nothing else?
Nobody gon comment on how he sound like Kermit😂😂
Ive been hearing that for years.
Dumb ass Nigha worry about yourself
All nighaz got sum to say always running there mouths
sand the sides of the rails, it sounds like its rubbing
Just for anyone else who is building a p80, get just the locking block and rear rail installed, then sand/level the rails together at the same time with some flat sandpaper. Frame is upside down, sandpaper on a glass sheet, and sand to progressively fine grits.
800, 1200, 2000, 3000, then polish.
It also helps to round the edges while the blocks are out.
I'll try that. thanx
Break in the clip the spring it's the mag a factory glock mag is flawless. As such GLOCK PERFECTION 1000%
It’s the slide release spring make sure it’s fully seated
It’s hard to tell what is causing that without knowing what parts were used or how it was built. I’m not a fan of I’m using hand drills, maybe it’s the machinist side of me, but regardless overall we are talking about assembling a loose tolerances frame from a fixture to high toleranced aftermarket upper pieces. What could go wrong. Assuming you’ve got the right springs in....
It looks like bad mag and maybe polish the feed ramp on after market barrels the slant of the ramp seems to be a lot steeper than a factory Glock so the bullet is like hitting a wall when trying to feed and with p80 aftermarket mags that have wider lips work better because it allows the round to sit higher and stick out further so it can feed easier if you get some pliers and bend the lips out just a millimeter or so your rounds will feed a lot easier . Also some malfunctions in this could have something to do with the downward shooting position
Ariana grande music lmao
I forgot to turn off the xm radio in the background. So ya theres ariana in the background
@@bear_ina_jeep awesome
maybe you should hold the gun properly and not fire into a barrel at the floor....
There selling a P80 frame? Just asking can't believe it would be the real thing on aliexpress
I wouldnt buy anything of aliexpress tbh
I am based in europe can't easily get what we want always looking for more than 1 road to Rome. It's an old saying explore other wayd
@@Mrbrendan870 fair. Im in the us
Never stop dreaming excellent channel you have
I think it’s your actual mag as well
Thats shitty ammo m8, same thing happened with my build. First 2 mags were giving me issues, I switched to higher quality ammo the range had and it gave no issue for 100 rounds of federal that I bought
Thats what i was shooting was federal. I made the fitment between the slide and frame way tighter than they needed to be. I should have a video up in the upcoming weeks.
@@bear_ina_jeep glad to hear you got it too work out. My first build was a little frustrating
Doubt it's the mag. People run shifty mags in these things all the time. Either gen 3 ejector, spring channel or the tolerances on the slide are too tight and need to be worn in more. Get 100 through it and see
What's the depth of the clearing barrel you are using? What's the material?
About 2.5 ft of sand in a 55gal drum
Thanks for uploading! I just got my p80 build done and fired. Every other round on the first half mag would eject but not fully ramp the next round. After another magazine it was every 5 rounds, then 10 rounds, and so on. I think with these you just need to give the frame ramps time to break in. I’m running a comp but I like using 115gn for target and +p for carry ammo so I don’t want to swap recoil springs. Going to try polishing the ramps with some steel wool. Keep us updated when you find the right combo!
Mabey it’s the channel where the spring rides threw the frame
Bro it’s the cheap ass magazine you have on it I went through the same problem buy an oem glock mag and you should be good
He needs an ETS mag. He bought it from the GlockStore and they make those lowers specifically with those mags in mind. It’s also what they use in there competitions. All OEm internals in them too. They also have to be loaded with a closed bolt. If people would just learn and read upon what they’re doing by the people that make the shit they’d know. Oem isn’t the best with every build either. They swell when loaded. ETS will not swell.
Try polishing the frame rails it should help
In the 3 mags that i put thru it it got progressively better. So im just going to pump a lot of rounds through it and let it wear itself in. I was also planning on polishing the feed ramp as well.
Could be a cheap ejector or cheap ammo
What fixed the minor issue?
Firing probably 1000 rds thru it.
You didn’t oil it
I soaked in oil before hand. And afterwards.
Let the choppa sang lmao
Seems like it's short stroking. Run 124 or 147 grain and see if it helps. Mine did the same thing for about 200 rds.
Ive put about 500 rounds thru it. And it is getting much better. Still haveing FTF issues but nearly as bad a before.
@@bear_ina_jeep Glad to here it!! Fun project for sure!!
@@cnclife2739 it is. Im more than happy with it.
wait cant the bullet on this bounce back or what if it blows up in your hand i am new to p80 was thinking about getting one
No. Im firing into sand. And thats a risk you run with any firearm. It blowing apart in your hand
Hello sir ! Where did you purchase your glock upper? I do not want a rock slide etc.. for my p80.
Search glock slide on google
Niko Brown Glock store has them
Aliexpress sells P80 confused thought this is called ap80
Then use a different magazine......duhh...
I tried multiple mags. It wasnt the magazine.
@@bear_ina_jeep hope you got it worked out and all that was needed was just some rounds down range... perfect excuse to go shooting...😝
What are you shooting into, sand?
9mm 124 grain
@@bear_ina_jeep he means what are you shooting at in that container?
@Donald J. Trump the fact your names trump lmaooo
Factory guide rod? Maybe try a lighter guide rod?
Yes its the factory guide rod
What frame is that
Polymer80 spectre
Any reason why you went with the gen 1?
Bought it when the first came out. Took me a while to have time to finish it
@@meekgreek9922 ive seen that. And plan on getting one
ever figure it out
What parts kit u use? Some say G17 9mm & .40 like I thought you need G22 lower parts kits
It depends on the model number and gen. But they are pretty interchangeable. Go to the glockstore. Thats where i got min
