Car prices are a joke - $2 Million for a Ferrari California is just outrageous! It was about $200k in TDU 2. I just simply don’’t have the time to grind 2-3 hours a day in order to buy anything. A big part of the old TDU was collecting cars and just taking them out for a cruise. Now every part of the game is grind, grind, grind. I appreciate that some people prefer the grind, but if you’re a casual player like me, it’s really tedious and doesn’t encourage me to play the game.

There should’ve been more thought around making money or giving us more payouts from the tasks that take up way to much time
In the original TDU you could earn enough money to buy a Ferrari by just doing 2 delivery missions. No one was grinding for cars in TDU. Grinding occurs due to a lack of content.

I think Ibiza has been a great addition, but the overall experience to get to lvl 60 clan so far has been dreadful. If we take in account we make less money and there is a lvl wall on everything clan wise its crazy. Also, the xp on solar pass?????? Also, if half of the races are on bumpy gravel roads, ffs they should have fixed bloody cars flying around at every turn, the small patches of water that make you go 180 to 0… I am grinding and enjoying most of it like a toxic relationship, but man, they make it difficult.
@@PabloGomez-jl2bt The other thing about the clans is most of the rewards are Clothing and stickers 😭 It does take sometime to level I hit level 68 yesterday but don’t know if I want to continue to level, I’m also only level 8 in the Solar pass which I think was dumb increasing the XP on a pass with only 25 levels to make it last longer… I also like the game but I don’t what they’re doing
@@Blockedinsight exactly, I am lvl 63 and I ve been playing quite a lot… so I can get a piece of clothing that gets glitched on every cutscene (some of the street clan clothing glitches badly)
The single thing that made me stop playing is the economy. if you buy an off meta car, you're screwed. You can't afford another car right away and you won't be winning any new events so you're getting almost no money from them.
@@D3VYN3 Exactly! There are a few cars I want, that aren’t competitive, just for the fun over driving - but there is just no point. If you do get one, you have had it, as it then makes the grind to get another 10x harder!
Had the Alfa Romeo mito maxed out and setup how I liked only to find out they’ve nerfed the performance of it and literally removed more than half of the horsepower
The developers are mad making it harder to earn money. If anything they need to make it easier to earn money to be able to buy the expensive cars. At the end of the day it doesn't matter as I've stopped playing. If and when it actually gets things like missions etc that make like a TDU game I'll play it again.

Now idk how long the 918 and the 812 superfast have been nerfed for, but now I just can compete and they nerfed the payouts as if I wasn’t already broke enough. They’re probably gonna pull a Gran Turismo and at most quintuple the amount of money you can get from a race. Like you said, let’s use The Crew 2 for example. The most expensive car in that game was roughly 2.5 million, and the longest race paid out 290 to 500k. When we look at TDU SC, cars cost upwards of 10 million, and the highest paying race is 100-300k. Mind you the longest race takes 10-15 minutes longer than TC2s longest race. Ibiza’s great and all, but make the core gameplay fun, which It does surprisingly well, and NOT a grind fest.
@@458italiap Grind fest is a great way too put it lol I understand wanting the things to take time to get but making it that grindy and ruining most of the regular & long races makes no sense, at least on Gran Turismo it’s easier to make money once you get things down!! On TDUSC they just increased the grind, not sure why with the player count… It’s already lol What’s funny is on The Crew 2 if you’re level 1000 you can put all icon points on bucks and make over 600K+ easily on the 30 minute race 😂
Don’t get me started on the task list. I haven’t reached lvl 60 yet, I’m at 58, but if they want me to complete 100 races in cars I don’t have cause they are too damn expensive (ex the special editions of cars) then there is a problem. 100 is a bit steep but it does give you the option to try new cars and get more accustomed to the handling. Hopefully they fix the economy in the game and then I’ll come back again!

I tried playing on Ibiza, my Caterham shifted like a CVT, stuck at 5k rpm while full throttle shifting from 1st to 6th. Then the 911 interior brightness was color washed so bad. After experiencing those 2 issues back to back I gave up… again.

This game is made by mobile developers made by kids.. nothing is made to a good standard. Maybe the sounds of the cars only. Not even The Crew is si hard to make money in. Like if you want to buy Bugatti Veyron and Chiron say goodbye to a life and live in the game.

Highway to Heaven is by far the best race in the game right now on Ibiza. Can be completed in under 2min 30sec and I get about 50k credits and 5400XP for the solar pass.

God I can't stand FOMO, MTX, and endless grinding in games anymore. You can have grinding but keep it balanced, but nowadays games drag on and on and on. I'm going back to DRG. At least GSG cares. Rock and stone.

You can ignore microtransactions but you can't ignore the fact that games are actively designed around them and around the expectation that you'll buy them. Games literally actively try to hinder you if you don't. Not to mention all the FOMO and how everything always has to be limited-time only and lost forever, specifically to force you to either spend copious amounts of time you don't have grinding to get it, or paying for it directly because you don't have time. And if you don't, like if you didn't have enough time, aren't good enough, or simply are a new player who got the game later, you're permanently missing out. This is why I like DRG. All the seasons can be selected at any time and their gear unlocked at your own pace. There's no MTX/premium currency, and since you can progress through any past season on your own, there's no FOMO. Even the limited events (holiday events, like their upcoming Christmas event) have no FOMO. Each event will give you a hat to unlock, but if you missed out on previous events, you get all the previous hats in one fell swoop too. So if you complete this year's Christmas event, you'll get this year's Christmas hat as well as every single past Christmas hat, in case you missed out or are a new player. This cheap indie game does live service than better almost every other live service ever and yet people still try to justify/defend these $70-150 games having MTX and FOMO like they're F2P games... :/

This is why they need to cancel clan wars on season 3 the gameplay is getting worse the payouts for the races are so obsurd so happy Forza Horizon doesnt do this

The turning animation while driving slow needs to be addressed. The vehicle is sliding from left to right when turning the steering wheel instead of the wheels, actually rolling into a turn.
It’s pretty pathetic the payouts it really doesn’t reward our time or incentivise us to doing races of any kind KT racing a total joke! I barely play it now tbh

This game used to be my only hope bc it was the ONLY game that had what I wanted rn- classical music, focusing on sport/luxury cars instead of FNF customization that is literally everywhere plus no cutscenes with actor to make the game "hollywood-ish" but everything else is just... ohmygod. can Nacon just give this IP back to Eden?!

I remember when GT6 buffed payouts and nerfed car prices. (Redbull X2011 went from 20M to 6M) TDUSC is just being stupid.

Payouts are not all nerfed. Many race payouts were increased on HKI. On Ibiza all the payouts even higher than on HKI.

This game used to be my only hope bc it was the ONLY game that had what I wanted rn- classical music, focusing on sport/luxury cars instead of FNF customization that is literally everywhere plus no cutscenes with actor to make the game "hollywood-ish" but everything else is just... ohmygod. can Nacon just give this IP back to Eden?!

@@andrev5207 Well in ways Motorfest is a bit better with the payouts on races even though in that game it’s still not great and worse than the TC2’s, the cars in Test Drive cost way more too… Many hyper cars are 8 Million + with some being 15 or 20 Million for a single car
Last time I checked cars didn’t cost 20 million dollars in motorfest
