Don't touch! 3 sec into the video and already bare hand touching? DON'T ... F***ING ... TOUCH ... ANYTHING Licences should be removed. You probably killed that poor fish.
It is actually extremely important not to touch the fish since many fish secrete a layer of mucus as a layer of surface to their skin, which makes them more resilient to the contaminated environment. When we touch them we destroy this layer. It can be tempting, but one really shouldn't touch the fish 🐠🐟
The True Crusader people can kill an ocean snail. It is very bad for reefs when people come and touch or even break off parts of them, and it games fish and other sensitive animals when we touch them or break the coral
Sometimes you have to touch fish.. Otherwise they hit you.. Mantaray sometimes love it.. Some happened to me with a giant Napoleon or hundreds of nurse harks..
Egypt is so underrated when it comes to beaches, snorkeling/diving, and summer destinations in general. The world needs to know about Dahab, Marsa Alam, Sharm Elsheikh, Hurghada, and the North Coast.

I was waiting the whole time to see the Galapagos islands on this list as one of the most unique diving experience on earth, surprised it has been left out!!
This list is a joke. Nothing here ranks better than Raja Ampat for reefs. I would expect Raja Ampat and Galapagos to be top ranked by any divers that have experienced them.
Just back from a Red Sea diving trip. It's perfectly safe. We had wonderful, enthusiastic and professional guides. I flew in and out of Hurghada. Perfectly normal travel conditions. The Thistlegorm and the Giannis D are well worth the trip. Not just one motorcycle and truck. Many!!
Sipadan was indeed amazing! so many different dive spots around this island... you must spend there a solid week to able to get a permit to dive around Sipadan, as the government is limiting the amount of daily divers at Sipadan island. and easiest is actually from Mabul island, not Semprona, which is not so pleasant harbour city that you really want to avoid. there are not too many resorts on that island, as they will always prioritise guests staying longer for those permits, so 2 day visit and really difficult to just go to Sipadan. Enjoy heaven and 5 stars diving on that tiny island you can walk all around it in 1 hour.
No doubt.. Sipadan Island, Sabah, Malaysia is the best among the best.. Totally agree.. With crystal clear water and a huge group of barracuda you will never be dissapointed.. Trust me.. 😍😍😍
I was a bit frustating to see thru the numbers. The island wasnt on the list.. until it reach no 1. Wow. Sipadan rated at no 1 in mojo. Absolutely amazing.. tq mojo.
How about the Philippines? Like Anilao in Batangas, Tubbataha Reef in Palawan, Moalboal for sardine run and Malapascua Island for thresher shark in Cebu, Dauin for muck diving in Negros Oriental, and of course Apo Reef in Occidental Mindoro.
I went diving in the carabeans last summer and it was amazing, there were octupus, passive sharks, mantas, hammerheads and some more amazing fish, it was worth every penny of the trip
Glad to see Sipidan, I did 2 dives there though I feel bad on the 1st dive a Korean girl lost her expensive camera that had a floatation device on it. The strap to her wrist wasn't tight and it just floated off on its way to the Philippines. I'll add Komodo was amazing for diving especially Manta Alley (though as someone who's not used to strong current and was told never to touch anything under water, it was one of the first times I almost panicked under water since I started diving as a 11 yo and couldn't equalize very well). The GBR is hit or miss, I dove fairly close to Cairns and it paled compared to Sipidan & Komodo where, I had just dove. Then I lucked out a deal with Mike Ball and it flew us out to Lizard Island and we dove spots on our way back to Cairns and it was amazing. I'll be going to the Philippines in a week or so and i was hoping this video would give me a idea of where to dive but I guess none of the "top ten " are in the Philippines.
Was ready to come down here and praise this video advertisement for promoting only the best and most sustainable diving practice's such as hugging a fish! Taking souvenirs, and touching coral. malaysia got hundreds more amazing diving spots where some among most beautiful in the world ..they literally are well preserved not like most other islands in the world that receiving too much tourists that also ruining their nature ecosystem..
So many dive sites that should rank above many on this list---Socorro Islands, Komodo, Galapagos, Tubbataha reef Philippines just to name a few. The Red Sea? Just because many people dive there doesn't make it one of the best---been there done that and it was good but not great like the others I mentioned.
Seriously ?? The 2nd largest barrier reef in the world is in Roatan Honduras.. They have it all from ship wrecks to caves and every marine species you can think of. The famous "hole in the wall" is spectacular.. It's a must !! Sharks dives are only $100 dollars. Nite dives are about $30 and experience the "string of perils" There are over 100 dives shops on this little Island and is one of the least expensive in the world where to get certified....
Done Roatan, nice diving but nothing overly spectacular, i would have lumped it in with all of Belieze as opposed to just the BH since they are pretty much the same reef system.
They forgot the Verde islands which is the heart of the heart of the marine biodiversity in the world. There is a lot of diving spot in the Philippines. U can see Tresher Sharks everyday in Malapascua Island in the Philippines. This is the only diving spot u can see the shark everyday.
Komodo Islands in indonesia was very awesome, we see huge fish shools, sharks and really impressive manta rays.. I also can recomand Pangloa island on bohol philippiens..
Sipadan is truly my number one, too. But my second one is in the Philippines. They have some of the best dive sites in the world... at least not that long time ago they had. These are all disappearing now... Unfortunately quite fast.
when i went we did one manta dive that was in a quieter location that was way cooler and better than Old airport, but the blackwater magic dives where also super cool
Bloody Bay Point, Little Cayman Island - the wall starts at around 50 feet and reputedly drops to around 20,000 feet (Cayman Trench). Vis around 80-100 feet. Lots of sea life. I haven't dived it since the late '80s, but it was pretty cool then. 2-3 knot current along the face of the wall so makes a good drift dive if you have a knowledgable boat captain, but the current is not so strong that you can't remain more or less stationary if you wish. . .
Amazing experience diving at reef barrier and Redsea but still shocked with Nusa Lembongan in Indonesia. The best drift dive of life after more than 100 dives

William Hartmann unless you’re hungry and want to feed from it
krillko I understand why it’s important not to touch them but what are the affects when you go fishing and release one back into the ocean?
What a terrible publicity for diving, only leave bubbles, no touching.......😥
Touching is also really dangerous, a ocean snail could kill someone
The True Crusader people can kill an ocean snail. It is very bad for reefs when people come and touch or even break off parts of them, and it games fish and other sensitive animals when we touch them or break the coral

Ron van Toor what if you’re hungry?
Ron van Toor Totally agree. This infuriates me.
Never touch any sealife! Rule number one of diving!
sal k what if you’re hungry?
*never hold your breath
yeah almost got my fingers bit off by some weird looking fish while diving.
Actually, the number one rule is "keep breathing".
It’s still important to never touch sealife, but never holding your breath is way more important.
