i've just returned from an attempt to explore the area - really wouldn't recommend it now as there were a lot of signs of either a dog or boar wandering the trail plus there are quite a few fallen trees blocking the path, with the areas surrounding the tree being blocked by big spider webs. the area where there is supposed to be a trail next to the stream is also even more flooded now so it's practically impossible to pass through - i thought i wandered into a swamp for a moment. head straight to the main gate unless you want to disturb some spiders!
Thanks for the instructions, it's accurate and easy to follow. I found 3 cars in the area. My parents told me there was a car repair yard in the area so that might explain it
13th March 2022, cool, thank you so much for sharing, hopefully I can get to join you guys for the next underrated hikes. Cheerio, take care, stay safe and happy.
Great video. While looking for the trail in google map, I found that I hiked through the area more than 10 years ago. Thanks for bringing back my old memories. The name of the lorong is "Lorong Halwa", not "Lorong Highway". Halwa means "fruits preserved in sugar".

Nice!! Glad you had fun on your hike! Did you manage to trek to the Avatar trees?
@@thetravelintern yup I did. The path by the stream was too muddy so went via the road which is super easy to get to.

WOW!! beautiful place at Bukit Brown. Where is near MRT?
Botanic Gardens would be the closest! You can head to University road to reach the start point :)
is the cemetery still there now?
yep!
There used to be some cars repair business there.
Ohh! So the remaining cars were left there when they moved their business?
Want to go there
You should! It's really beautiful!
Are you aware that there is a one and only one rectangular tomb at Bukit Brown? Can you find it?
oh! I didn't know about that! Where is it :)
