I read Saint said to size down since they make the cuts a little on the large side. Hows the large fit. Is it really a problem

I could be interested in these except for lack of inseam options. Street jeans I take a 31-32 waist with a 30" inseam. If I want to get my waist size with these jeans my only option is 34" inseam. I have to believe that knee armor is going to live somewhere between my knee and ankle. Can't imagine that the knee armor has 4" of adjust-ability.
