    Q. 6.19: The flip‐flop input equations for a BCD counter using T flip‐flops are given in Section 6.4. Obtain the input equations for a BCD counter that uses (a) JK flip‐flops and (b) D flip‐flops. Compare the three designs to determine which one is the most efficient.

    In the number of gates required for JK flip-flops, I think you only need 3 gates because you can use the same gate for J A4 and K A4.

      and you can just plug every j ,k to vcc and work just fine but make sure that clocks
      input is A8A2==10==1010, ... I dont know why but work
