I forgot his name, but I love the guy with the yellow tie and glasses. The way he talks is intelligent, in a way that everyone can understand, and he's funny.
the beauty behind interracial dating is that it suggests that we can look past race, but when people do it because they hate their own race... there is a problem here. I married outside my race but I would go back and still date people from my own race or people of any race, because it's what is inside that matters. When you say all ___ people are like this, you are doing everyone a disservice. And you will likely rub your bigotry off on others, and the world doesn't get better that way. Be open
It's a cultural thing. Racism is the belief that another race is better than another. The term is also extended to someone who understands and embraces the culture; someone who's like kin.
At 00:31, "REAL LOVE" is not looking at each other and smiling, or telling each other "I love you" constantly. Love is seen by action and it is SELFLESSNESS. When people get that in any relationship, it becomes indestructible.
lmfao yoo the white boy who stood up in the crowd and was asked has he ever made love to a black woman before had me crying when he asked tyra "well what are you doing" idk why that was soo funny to me but best believe i kept rewinding that part
My mom taught me to not allow myself to get serious with a man who wont respect me. She told me to ask questions that really gets down to someone's character. Many men don't like to be probed like that, but that's how I ended up with a good man. That man feels strong women treat him like a little boy, then don't act like one. A great women will speak wisdoms, and great men will listen, show respect and wait for their turn to speak and share their wisdom. But that guy doesn't have any.
@bertyblue it's not about that. It's about the fact that a guy is devaluing someone simply because they are who they are. If someone has a preference, cool. You don't have to find me attractive but don't sit over here and say that I'm not good for anything and demonize and devalue me simply because I am who I am. That's not a preference, that's a prejudice.
So long as they just feel more attracted to a certain type of look it's not such a bad thing so long as you're not turning down someone potentially perfect for you based solely on physical appearance. Sometimes you just have a type that rocks your boat more than another but you gotta keep an open mind for possibilities. But that goes just as much for someone who only dates models, or within their race, or only younger/older people.
to Eric Dyson :the worst reason to date someone is because you feel like you owe that person something or their group something you should only date someone because you are attracted to them physically and personality wise
I think where the anger and resentment in people not dating a certain race is that some do it for superficial, demeaning or hateful reasons. If you are simply not attracted to someone then you're not but if you completely disregard someone due to their race, that is what's aggravating
as a black man I know that black women are strong. It doesn't give them a right to be domineering, you can be strong without being domineering. I love black women and I have to say that a lot of times, they are in their own way...so are white woman, black men, so are men and women. I don't agree with the whole: You haven't made love til you've made love to a black woman thing.
I hate that these people are being ridiculed for not dating within their race. It may not be for the right reasons, but what is right and what is wrong when it comes to attraction?
We as Black people are so ignorant to the idea of reverse-discrimination. If a man, ANY man, Black or White had said something like "you haven't lived until you've made love to a White woman", Black people on the show would've lost their goddamn minds. When the fuck are we going to get over saying shit like that? As a Black man that's been with both Black and White women, there are highly sexual Black women and highly sexual White women. There's no difference. It's all a matter of what your personal preference is.
I agree with you, but I don't think you should lump us (as black people) all together on that instance. I and many of my black friends would have been super uncomfortable hearing that! Sounds like one of those creepy guys that has jungle fever lol.
A person has the right to date who ever floats their boat. Race is not part of the culture behavior is culture so race should not be a map for the heart to follow
i think the guy where he came from he was just used to black women period, and now he's enjoying other races, but there's a thin line between totally liking different races and against some of them.
your right Eric it's not about skin color the behavior of black men is about culture a culture unites black men and likewise unites white men if a woman doesn't like that culture then finding another black man won't help their behavior will be very similar
I'm white, and I seriously love how black people call each other their brothers and sisters. I love it, I wish the white comunity was as close as that. :)
When you have a bad dating experience with a black man, white man, etc... you cant let that bad experience let you be prejudice against all black men, all white men, etc. Its not fair nor is it right.
There's nothing wrong with dating outside your race. The only thing that's wrong is if you don't want to date a person within your race, because of a stereotype.
Slave-masters needed the slaves to accept, support and be participants in their own objectification and exploitation. The first affirmation in the programming is”We (they) are all alike.” Despite the slave-master’s efforts that never was universally accepted true. Presently, though if you ask somebody a question about their inability to maitain a stable long term relationship, this is the kind of developmentally arrersted dialog it turns into.
Everyone's allowed to have preferences in race. Like it's cool if a black man prefers white women because he thinks they're exceptionally beautiful, or even white men prefer black women for same reasons. Some people are just that way, and interracial couples are beautiful to see. However, I do agree that it's a shame and unfortunate when their preference is just to avoid negative stereotypes of the opposite gender from their own race.
I understand being proud of your culture and your people, but I am Black, White, Puerto-Rican and Hawaiian and have a complexion that makes you think I'm Colombian. But personally, I love white boys! Blond hair, blue eyes, tall and skinny with a big nose, I am proud of who I am, but I'm also proud of who I like as well. ;)
It was insulting when that man said "you've never made real love until you've made love to a strong black women" that is just hurtful, now i know he was just trying to have that other guy see that black women are beautiful too but he just went to far.
it's because of black history in america..asian women, hispanic women, and white women were not oppressed in America like black women were. it's just the effects of history.
I forgot his name, but I love the guy with the yellow tie and glasses. The way he talks is intelligent, in a way that everyone can understand, and he's funny.
Finesse is soo funny

STRONG. INDEPENDENT. BLACK. WOMAN. WHO DONT NEED NO MAN
If Dr. Dyson wasn't a professor, he would be one hell of a MC.
@bertyblue it's not about that. It's about the fact that a guy is devaluing someone simply because they are who they are. If someone has a preference, cool. to Eric Dyson :the worst reason to date someone is because you feel like you owe that person something or their group something
you should only date someone because you are attracted to them physically and personality wise
The professor is my perfect kinda brother and the other brother too. Strong minded, articulate, proud, educated.... I need a younger version of them!
i know, and too cute when he leans his head on the girl. :) shes pretty.
Exactly!!
exactly they don't want to find the good in a black woman they want to "upgrade" to what has been programmed better
I think where the anger and resentment in people not dating a certain race is that some do it for superficial, demeaning or hateful reasons. If you are simply not attracted to someone then you're not but if you completely disregard someone due to their race, that is what's aggravating
Whoever a Black Man marries, no matter what the race, is the woman of his dreams.
as a black man I know that black women are strong. It doesn't give them a right to be domineering, you can be strong without being domineering. I know he did not just hit on Tyra Banks.. That man has some balls! Hahaha!

oki dokie.
@5:38: "And you might need to get you a sister because she wouldn't have let you wear that sweater!" LMAO!!!!! He had me dying
date any race, as long as your not prejudice, if you not attracted to one race fair play but as long as it's not a concious decision.
I love my black women
"well...I AM." lol
A person has the right to date who ever floats their boat. Race is not part of the culture behavior is culture so race should not be a map for the heart to follow
LOL I love finesse and doctor dyson...
I'm not Black but I stand my ground.
i think the guy where he came from he was just used to black women period, and now he's enjoying other races, but there's a thin line between totally liking different races and against some of them.
your right Eric
it's not about skin color
the behavior of black men is about culture

I'm white, and I seriously love how black people call each other their brothers and sisters. I love it, I wish the white comunity was as close as that. :)
They maybe did not go thru Jim Crow but they are still dealing with the effects.
When you have a bad dating experience with a black man, white man, etc... you cant let that bad experience let you be prejudice against all black men, all white men, etc. Its not fair nor is it right.
i know she does that for every topic she should let her guest talk

i wish people would just love someone for who they are, not their skin colour.
I know plenty who just won't put with non black women, but many who open minded as well
OMG Finesse is so funny !!!! ahahahaaa

It was insulting when that man said "you've never made real love until you've made love to a strong black women" that is just hurtful, now i know he was just trying to have that other guy see that black women are beautiful too but he just went to far.
there is strong and there is bossy...there's a difference...
Tyra Mail
exactly u cant go anywhere without a guy talking about our asses!
I don't care what the race, all women are very strong and independent now. I will not let anyone walk all over me. Absolutely not.
this show doesn't deal with any stereotypes of black men
it's because of black history in america..asian women, hispanic women, and white women were not oppressed in America like black women were. it's just the effects of history.
That's the problem,,,,finding a good problem
Yeah, way to break stereotypes -__-
Michale Dyson SIMPS OUT IN THIS VIDEO....
