In my opinion, I was struggling with champions road for far longer than perfect run, not saying perfect run wasn't still annoying, I just felt like champions road was far worse.

In SMW, an exploit I found to make "Tubular" MONUMENTALLY easier is to bring a blue Yoshi with you, eat a ParaKoopa at the beginning of the level, and fly to the end without death, trust me, the Blue Yoshi trick is way easier than using the P-Balloon
The Zesty Potato. In one of the stages where you have to blow up boxes the trick is to to run to the bottom of the screen and then take one column at the time.
Dude, it's really easy! PKSparkxx DathottneSS gives you a tip to make it easy. Use the lights in the ground. Throw the Bob-Ombs in those exact spots, and you're golden! Also note that Bob-Ombs take 9 seconds to detonate. If you can get to the last few piles within those 9 seconds, you've basically won.
Those were the worst levels in the universe, and ONLY TODAY have I just found out that it's piss easy because all you have to do is throw the bob-ombs at the coins in the ground.
Fire Nation Ah, world 6-5...yeah, that was frustrating. Especially when you fly to the exit without the Koopa Troopa shell and realized you ain't bustin' loose thanks to the blocks and white turnip-looking enemies (don't know their name).

I remember tubular being a BITCH when I was a kid trying to beat that damn level. I don’t have near the amount of trouble now as I did then but it was def the hardest level as a kid!
Takumi Is mine I can’t say whether I felt it was easier on the 3ds because there were way to many years in between. I can now pretty much beat any of these older games with in a couple days now (obviously not nonstop but long breaks) but trying to play for instance Mario odyssey on her switch is a lot harder for me.
The only part that was hard for me was when you had to go inside the 🌋 and you had to collect 8 red coins every time when I had three more red coins to go I always fall into the hot lava.
I must've lost nearly 100 lives before I completed Luigi's Purple Coins. Oh, God! This level is, in my opinion, the toughest I've ever played! It's a puzzle, but that's what makes this stage so fun. Just make sure you have plenty of lives, patience, and a pillow nearby to catch flying Wii remotes.

I got three Game Overs (starting with 99 lives, mind you), and lost about fifty when I beat it. This was literally the only level I had gotten a Game Over on. I got close with a few levels, but that was without the knowledge of the Infinite Lives glitch. My brother, who beat Darker Side of the Moon, lost a good fifty lives before quitting and giving me the controller back, saying that this level was close to impossible. I had no hope of completing it, and I was about to quit when I decided to give it one more go. The next Game Over would be my last for a long time. BUT THEN I DID IT. MY HANDS WERE SHAKING SO BADLY WHEN I BEAT IT. LIKE HOLY MOTHER OF GAIA. THAT WAS THE HARDEST THING I EVER HAD TO DO. And to think, this all started because of a nostalgia trip I had for the first game. I wasn’t actually expecting to 100% the franchise, yet my impulsiveness said “nah, it won’t be hard.” Boy, was I wrong...
I really had way more trouble with the chimps challenge on the 10000 score level in the honeycomb level. I beat the game in 60-70 hours 100% but if it wasn't for the chimp it would have been half that time

Volleo 6144 Falling to the outside of the castle is one of the main reasons why I hated it. You have to go all the way back to the top of the castle, and waste time that you could be using to practice the level, I'd rather get a game over every 5 tries, so I agree with potatolord, wing mario over the rainbow is really difficult
This. The pinball machine level is hard, but it's no where near as hard as the floating leaf level until you realize one thing about the leaf level that makes it SUPER easy. You don't have to get it on your first try. If you miss a red coin, just keep going until the end and then walk carefully along the edge back to the beginning and try again. The walk back takes a while but it's worth it.
+Kai If you just make your way to the end, and then you can actually clip through the back and walk under the water. By doing a dive recovery at the right time, you can collect all of the coins. Then just backtrack to the start, and backflip onto the lilypad that respawns.
I got to the rosalina part of Grandmaster Galaxy the perfect run and I cheered so hard I stepped on the plug shutting off the game. You can only imagine the shock I was in when that happend

I got a chance to play Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels a couple years ago... and it is one of the hardest video games I’ve ever played. No wonder they only released it in Japan, the creators knew that everyone else wouldn’t be able to handle it 😂
When I was a kid me and my friend managed to complete the lost levels on SNES All Starts in a team effort. We put in a solid weekend with no sleep and taking it in turns after one of us lost a life. All I can say is thank goodness for the save/continue function on that version!

Yeah, if playing all the way through the game. Honestly though, it's not that hard. Pro-tip: play all the hand levels before it. Even if you don't get grabbed by the hands. Use the leafs for the airships.

Takumi Is mine I can’t say whether I felt it was easier on the 3ds because there were way to many years in between. I can now pretty much beat any of these older games with in a couple days now (obviously not nonstop but long breaks) but trying to play for instance Mario odyssey on her switch is a lot harder for me.

The only part that was hard for me was when you had to go inside the 🌋 and you had to collect 8 red coins every time when I had three more red coins to go I always fall into the hot lava.

I must've lost nearly 100 lives before I completed Luigi's Purple Coins. Oh, God! This level is, in my opinion, the toughest I've ever played! It's a puzzle, but that's what makes this stage so fun. Just make sure you have plenty of lives, patience, and a pillow nearby to catch flying Wii remotes.

I got three Game Overs (starting with 99 lives, mind you), and lost about fifty when I beat it.
This was literally the only level I had gotten a Game Over on. I got close with a few levels, but that was without the knowledge of the Infinite Lives glitch. My brother, who beat Darker Side of the Moon, lost a good fifty lives before quitting and giving me the controller back, saying that this level was close to impossible. I had no hope of completing it, and I was about to quit when I decided to give it one more go. The next Game Over would be my last for a long time.
BUT THEN I DID IT. MY HANDS WERE SHAKING SO BADLY WHEN I BEAT IT. LIKE HOLY MOTHER OF GAIA. THAT WAS THE HARDEST THING I EVER HAD TO DO.
And to think, this all started because of a nostalgia trip I had for the first game. I wasn’t actually expecting to 100% the franchise, yet my impulsiveness said “nah, it won’t be hard.”

I really had way more trouble with the chimps challenge on the 10000 score level in the honeycomb level. I beat the game in 60-70 hours 100% but if it wasn't for the chimp it would have been half that time

Falling to the outside of the castle is one of the main reasons why I hated it. You have to go all the way back to the top of the castle, and waste time that you could be using to practice the level, I'd rather get a game over every 5 tries, so I agree with potatolord, wing mario over the rainbow is really difficult

For Champion's Road in took my neighbor and me three days to beat it with all five characters, and we were raging so hard!
It took me way longer doing it alone I focus so much harder alone and do better on the Wii U gamepad.

This. The pinball machine level is hard, but it's no where near as hard as the floating leaf level until you realize one thing about the leaf level that makes it SUPER easy. You don't have to get it on your first try. If you miss a red coin, just keep going until the end and then walk carefully along the edge back to the beginning and try again. The walk back takes a while but it's worth it.

+Kai If you just make your way to the end, and then you can actually clip through the back and walk under the water. By doing a dive recovery at the right time, you can collect all of the coins. Then just backtrack to the start, and backflip onto the lilypad that respawns.

Yes, it is. Tubular is piece of cake with a blue Yoshi. But the same or any other Yoshi cannot save your ass in Outrageous unless you've mastered the game already.

When I was a kid me and my friend managed to complete the lost levels on SNES All Starts in a team effort. We put in a solid weekend with no sleep and taking it in turns after one of us lost a life. All I can say is thank goodness for the save/continue function on that version!
