If you don't have a Wagyu steak, and you think you're turning it into a Wagyu steak, you don't know what a Wagyu steak is.
no matter we can say here, the guy has 2.7M subscribers and making money from this channel while you are criticizing ahhaah
Nobody thinks he’s turning it into a wagyu. He’s just adding several more dimensions of flavor with the wagyu Tallow.
@@MaxIsBackInTown I think you missed the title of the video.
@@andreandree4384The guy doesn't have anything. The entity of "Chef Club" has 2.7 Millions subscribers. It's like saying an Amazon Employee has the same popularity as the company does 😂
Well unfortunately I work for a living and would never buy it in a restaurant. I have seen someone who found an A5 if that's the correct term at Walmart for 96$ I would possibly try that one.
He turns a good steak in to a greasy mess. Someone tell them to stop this please
If that tallow is worth that much then when he flips it onto the grill and it all slides away he should have some potatoes or even bread to catch that gold no????
@@rachelross5829 Great idea use for the potatoes.
@Rachel Ross
You can get a tub of that wagyu tallow for $20-$40. Quite a stretch to get to $2500.
He's trolling y'all. Trolling. No person who can actually cook would do this reckless waste.
This whole channel is a troll cooking page. That's why they block the comments now om everything they post
Was there a reason why he had money laid out right next to the NON WAGYU steak in the beginning of the video? 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ We all can agree that steak is not wagyu no matter what you do to it. And don't get me started on those dry ass mashed potatoes. He said it was loaded but that must have been the most driest loaded mashed potatoes I've ever seen in my life. 😭
You are rude!
@@patigrove9937 having an opinion doesn't always have to be nice. But the title literally says turning a $40 steak into a $2500 wagyu steak. It's in the TITLE!!! 🤣
I agree.
I'd definitely fix them with just a little cream and butter.
This overall looks good if not a bit too dry for my liking but a good chef knows how to not replicate those little mistakes.
@@cerberus50caldawg
I thought he forgot the heavy whipping cream on the mashed potatoes, just a little would've made them creamy and made a huge difference
Sassinger I don't find your comment rude at all you just gave your opinion! I will say though, there's a difference between CREAMY, & dry. His potatoes DO look dry asf lol BUT, it's actually possible to make firm potatoes that just aren't whipped or blended or mixed ( I use a mixer for very creamy ones, but sometimes do slightly chunky style) to a super smooth texture.
His very well might be dry lol💯 but looks can also be deceiving.
Especially since you CAN make mashed potatoes that are LOADED with fatty ingredients yet still have firm texture. If you use less milk or cream and more of butter sour cream & cream cheese, they will be firmer yet NOT dry from all that fat.
I've never seen mashed potatoes with that kind of a consistency in my life lol.
I thought it was eggs
I'm willing to give the larding of the steak with Wagyu tallow a chance, but those potatoes are a crime.
If these guys have taught me anything, it’s to never cook a single thing they make. Those potatoes are drier than the Sahara desert and that cow in heaven is malding because he died just to be made into a mid-gyu steak 💀
They're not very creamy but they don't look dry either. Besides, they're on top of bone marrow which is basically meat butter.
@@mr.kingkayyy7401 Uhmmmm yeah no, that shit is DRY. lol
😂😂😂
Just add some cream and butter. 😘👌
Easily fixed. 😁
This sure as hell aint health food!
Yea those potatoes were bad
This guy is unique. The first standup comedian "chef". Thank you for your videos Sir!!!
I love you!!!
😂😂😂
imagine going through all that effort and overcooking both the steak and the potatoes.
It was raw
@@coolcarenvy Agreed. I always ate my steaks medium growing up. After learning the "proper" way is medium rare I tried it a few times. It has worse flavour in my opinion and grossed me out.
Yeah I want to know how hot and how long in the oven
@@thereal7080 just how I like it!
@@thereal7080 it was well done !!
He ruined 40 bucks worth of steak... He seasoned one side raw... then seasoned the other side after it seared. 🤣🤣🤣 What universe is this?
Exactly what I thought!! He literally doesn’t know what he’s doing!!
The same universe that stuffed a Turkey with Velveeta cheese and topped it with cheetos ! Bon Appétit!
@@desertsunset8025 🤢🤢
@@marquisbean1752 I'm not kidding ! Look it up on their channel !it's funnier than hell !!
@@desertsunset8025 lol nah I'm good😂
Where can you get a bone in ribeye that looks like it is close to 5 pounds for $40? I'm moving there.
That’s what I thought, I was like no way that steak is $40😭
@@SamariJane I live in Central IL in the US, and you can get similar steaks for 35-50 USD. Fat content is probably whack but it is what it is.
It's definitely not going to be a good grade. A good dry aged steak is around $20 a lbs.
It's a tomahawk steak . You can get it at any meat department .
He disabled comments on his shorts too because he know he be makin hog feed and space craft fuel 🤣🤣🤣
Bone marrow, I thought I was one of the few who still used bone marrow. So good for the body.
I would need a gallon of water to try and swallow those mashed potatoes. Those potatoes looked dryer than a nun’s cootchie.
🤣🤣😹
You wanna add cream and butter on top of all that cholesterol?? Say bye-bye to your arteries
$40 steak getting all greasy and fill with butter is still a $40 steak fill with butter and getting all greasy and it looks like he's making it at a gas station
That's funny 😂
It's not butter, it's Wagyu beef tallow. He's larding the steak with higher quality Wagyu tallow, and adding a bacon and herb crust.
It's not chefclub, it's chefwannabeclub
There is nothing appetizing about those potatoes! As far as the steak goes, can we just have a moment of silence for that beef that had to die twice. Once when the cow died and once when he cooked it.
THANKS. A LITTLE WHISKEY FOR THE STEAK AND A LITTLE WHISKEY FOR THE CHEF!🙂✌️👍🏻
This video is almost 3 months old, so that $40 steak is now a $70 steak.
A Steak if I was ever on Death row
So you'd due from eating it?
He says this is a 4lb steak, and wagyu runs $250/lb. Assuming he actually manages a believable fake, that's still only a $1,000 steak. So where does the headline find that extra $1,500? 🤔
The extra $1,500 was the settlement he had to pay in court after making this video.
😂😂😂
Came for the clickbait, stayed for the comments.
Laughing my oops off
Bacon and cheese makes everything gooooood
Amazing
Brilliant! Dang why didn't I think of that?
Them taters were dry. Don’t gimme that crap. My mom’s were always moderately lumpy, but moist, not crumbly like overcooked stovetop stuffing. His beef is done just right tho it would appear. Would like to sample some for sure! Have always been a Wellington man myself! …..
You know,medium rare,..& tons of garlic!!😮😊😮😊
BOOM!!!
Why are they playing music like he is the first man landing on the moon...
You could use those dry-ass potatoes as fresh cat litter!
Luv this
NO steak is worth $2,500 man, Just giving us the magic to get close to such is dream-fulfilling. THANK YOU Chef!
Just watching this raised my Blood Pressure & cholesterol.
I thought those mash potatoes was rice
Man is an alchemist
Super yummy,
Gordon will cry blood tears seeing these wannabe youtube chefs trying to be chefs
You seem so proud, but that looks like something that would be on a Denny's menu.
Fuck that man this is something “the whale” would eat. No restaurant would ever do this.
Denny's is at least not stunt cooking and they dont whitewash. I am wondering whether These guys ever have seen a cooking school from the imside.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Don't insult Dennys like that. At least chain restaurants are edible.
Let's ride with the family down the street.. to the courtesy of Fred's two feet. When you're with the Flintstones.. yabba dabba doo baby!
I would love to figure out how to turn the bacon maple walnut mixture into a sugary stained window glass accent piece rather than a steak crust.
OMG 😲 amazing video
They're potato crumble or something, and definitely shouldn't be called "mashed" potatoes. They've been broken up, but not mashed. A mash should have a smoother texture and be able to spread with a butter knife. It's all good to hand done lumps in mashed potatoes but that was all lumps lol.
Sounds like openly admitting to fraud... price gouging.
And... if your going to take a beautiful piece of meat like that and destroy it... then that is the real crime you should be arrested.
Prep is everything
Yeah, nah, bit like me putting a big turbo on my civic, and calling it a lambo, 💯
The bone marrow can stay right where it is, watching it get scraped out literally turned my stomach over.
When I was young, my parents and grandparents told me that nothing was wasted, not even the bone marrow. But the meat was completely cooked. That included all meats chicken, turkey, beef, goats, sheep and anything else they could get their hands on. In fact, it was called meat butter.
@@larryhicks9117 it’s a nutrition at the end of the day and really the whole animal should be utilised or it’s just a waste, I just couldn’t handle scraping it out of the bone cavity. It’s the thought of it mainly.
When he gave salt pepper after searing one side i was
" *Oh boy* 🤦🏻🤦🏻 "
If someone threw bacon and walnuts on my steak I’m calling the FBI
Man Vaccinating that Steak lol
WOW just wow on the bone marrow potatoes!
Revolting, right?
As an Italian used to Fiorentina...you are killing it bro😢
This video should be titled “How Not To Cook”.
You can do better
Exactly 💯
Fantastic
The symphony playing in the background is what kept Me watching... That mash was sacrilegious to the potato diety...
I think I'm having a heart attack... 🤣🤣🤣
Complete with the orange cheese 😂
Wifey's been looking for her hairbrush. Now we know where.
Awesome
Was with you on the steak but them the driest lookin mashed potatos ive ever seen.
Where do you get the pricking tool?
Where do you find that for $40 ?
Nuts on Ribeye, forreal
That would cost about 100-130$ where I live
You must live in Texas, next to the stockyards; in Vegas, meat is outrageously priced, as is everything.
Can buy a full grown Angus Bull for half that price and get the whole Bull 😂😅
Thats at least a 200$ ribeye. No way in hell he paid 40 for it.
It's not wagu, but it looks good and would feed a family of 4, Or 2 big dudes. I don't know where you gotta steak 🥩 like that for 40 bucks, it would be alot more than that in my state
I've never had a good steak not cooked over a fire.
Looks like Chefs secret sauce
🔥🔥🔥🔥
He took a small bite to make it easier to pretend it's actually good
Yep, gonna try this with bacon grease.
You can't pretend to turn it into a wagyu steak and charge your customers full price
Another example of just because they did it on RUclips doesn’t mean you should. Who seasons a steak after it’s seared? NOBODY!
Those potatoes are flaky not creamy at all lol
Cheese on anything makes it better...except for those crumbly potatoes. Nothing can help those.
Take a chicken, pump air in it and you will have a turkey
That Steak went for 40 dollars to 40 Rupees in 5 sec.
Never ate a $2500 steak before….. and never will!!
The Bonetato boat.
Never had boan marrow befour didnt even know you could buy it
why the syrup mane WHY!!!!! lol looks good though
Never seems so much overcooked food.
Why the hell would you put bacon on a beautiful steak like that?
People, if it's not wagyu then it's not a Wagyu not even all that damn fat can change that fact. And please tell me where to find a steak that thick for 40$ pretty please
Menos mal que nací en España...
Them potatoes look dry as hell 😂
those well done potatoes and undone steak😫
👍👍👍
Nice
I don't ever want to see you creampie a steak again
I'd try it.
I could really take my fetynol use to the next level with that injection tool
If it was 40$ to start it doesn’t matter how you cook it, still won’t become waygu
Injected and topped with grease .....mmmm yummy
Adding salt to the steak with a bacon crust 😂
How can you tell me enjoy while it is you enjoying maaaaaan.,,, yummy
The Victor Frankensein of wannabe chefs.
Bones are just wonderful😍😋
I would love to know where to get that for 40$ not around me
This is 2023 correct? Where can I buy a steak like that for $40?????? Any site tell me as long as it's LEGIT GOOD MEAT! I will try this recipe THIS WEEKEND!
Dude threw a pinch of salt on one whole side.
Like to know where to get ribeye that size for 40. Looks like a 4lber
