Why an earth is this being tolerated? I take it from the footage that heroin use has been decriminalised in this area, but we’re are the sterile shooting galleries, mobile methadone clinics, hepatitis testing centres, or are they just living and dying in their own filth it’s heartbreaking

It is some good decent people around this area but this is getting out of hand the kids are suffering they can’t play without needles or someone shooting up.. the mayor need to try and fix this, it’s getting worse every day.

Its a combination of fentanyl cut with animal tranquilizer..
From what I understand the tranquilizer gives them an overwhelming sensation of having extra heavy limbs.
Many times you will see them bent over and although they're in somewhat of a stupor they will react and are conscious.
I have seen people walk up to them and tap them on the shoulder when they're bent over and they have the wherewithal to stand up straight to react to whoever is tapping them on the shoulder.
The slang for it is usually "dipping"

I know people have prayed many times for these people in Kensington, and have helped with basic needs and have preached the Gospel to them, BUT God is giving me a heart for these people to CRYOUT TO GO FOR THEM. These people really need God's people to CRYOUT TO GOD FOR THEM. Yes, God's people need to do the other stuff for them as well, but let us CRYOUT TO GOD MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE FOR THEM.

i don't understand why the city can't put togeather a common sence program which utilizes the people who are on Kensington Avenue. take some city workers from sanitation. parks department , and police and fire and go into this area and start to clean it up using the homeless as labor as well to clean up the area. while doing this find out which of these people have mental problems and get them some help. i think if the city involves the people who are on the street to do this it might make a diffrance. just an idea.
