The fact that the owner kept calling Valenzuela "Venzuela", says alot about where the store owner's head really is. His head is absent, and the indication is that he is willing to take down that masterpiece of a mural.
For those on the west side there is a mural at Westwood & La Grange near california chicken cafe. It is a 2020 championship Dodgers/Lakers mural with Kershaw hoisting the trophy and Kobe waving goodbye.
Go to Yelp and let A&A Market on Farnsworth know the Freddie Statue mural needs to stay. He can’t pronounce Fernando’s last name correctly and there are already plenty of “Venzuela” murals already.
LA is OFFICIALLY 'Dodgertown' after last season, at least until the Lakers finally get their 💩 together within my own lifetime (SELL THE DAMN TEAM NOW, JEANIE!!!). Freeman and Kelly murals remain my personal favorites, lol. Go Dodgers!!!
@@bmw128racer it didn't stop because of LeBron it stopped because Jennie is a trash owner and wouldn't let magic Johnson do his job because the coach was a nice guy
Really 😂count the hats. Dodgers have the whole Spanish speaking population watching lakers don’t. Lakers are a joke. Seating 55000 vs 16000. One sells out every game the other doesn’t. Basketball players are weird looking off the court
@@robertaBooey69 With Ohtani and Yamamoto, the Asian population and Japan are rooting for Blue as well. AND well over 3 million in attendance EVERY year. 👍
There’s a Kirk Gibson mural in Atwater village on Glendale blvd and garden ave, there’s a Julio Urias(I know it might be controversial) mural in highland park on Figueroa street and ave 53. Those are the ones I know off the top of my head aside from these.
We’re doing multiple parts and that one is going to be in a seperate video soon! We also covered the unveiling on our channel: ruclips.net/video/UjcKL2eIXuk/видео.htmlsi=PUZRu9FzxjWLcuZG
2:13 Hope the Gangsters and Taggers pay respect to all of this Art. What aught to happen is they should agree not to bomb or tag over our Dodgers heritage and that is what all this art is. If someone is dumb enough to deface this art it’s time to cancel Christmas or at the very least a good attitude adjustment.
When I see Murals. I see great tribute to all the great icons of our beloved cities of Los Angeles when I see graffiti and tag I see disgrace and no talents.
This is a great video showing a bunch of the amazing Dodgers murals in LA. Can't believe that one owner is gonna paint over the Freddie mural. What a crime. Doesn't he have another space to put Fernando on? Geeze.
That store owner planning on taking down the Freddie freeman Statue of Liberty mural will regret it smh. Hopefully the artist can somehow re do the mural somewhere else where it will be appreciated.
Ya man the store owner said he had people come from all over to check it out, I like Venezuela but the Freeman mural has become world famous I'm in Atlanta and know about it
Freddie had nothing to do with NY????? You obviously are not aware of current events, like current sports events, like current baseball events, like current World Series events, like current World Series Game 1 events, like World Series Game 1 bottom of the 10th inning events, like Freddie Freeman driving a 2-out bases load Slam into the right field pavilion and through the hearts of the NY Yankees and with bat held high like Lady Liberty’s golden torch Freddie stamped out the new center of the baseball universe in LA, officially named El Pueblo De Nuestra Señora La Reina De Los Angeles. That is what Freddie has to do with NY, which is understandable that NYers would not want to remember.
The Freddie mural is so fire

My thoughts exactly
I wonder if Freddie Freeman was latino would the store owner be painting over this work of art?!?!?!
@@thecryptobarnacle9530 definitely doing it for the hype for his store and not love for of the dodgers

Thank You very much for tour the best ⚾⚾⚾
That owner is a total poser. He’s not a real dodger fan. He shouldn’t paint over that Freddie mural.

I wish steve balmer was the owner he cares about his team
Owner doesn’t even deserve to have Fernando’s mural painted, bro can’t even pronounce ‘Valenzuela’…he kept saying venzuela smh 🤦🏻♂️
He’s a total poser
LA is still a Lakers town lets turn it into Dodgers Nation!
I think of LA of being more a Kobe town than a lakers town at this point lol
LA stopped being a Lakers town when LeBron showed up... Lakers are a clown show and soap opera right now.

LIl Tokyo has a huge one of Shohei.
Why waste paint and hours of an artists skill on a mural just to go over it with another?! Leave that Freddie mural
Nah that mural is a joke, Freddie has nothing to do with the statue of liberty
DOPE💙
I love you Toño

Had to save some for part 2! Coming soon 🔥
Now, LittleTokyo is Little Seoul. (*_*;
Japanese-Americans are fleeing, too.
Missed the kirk gibson
Will be in Part 2 coming soon!

Seems like they hold up for the most part. I did see a kobe tribute tagged near Chinatown though. Which was disappointing.

Basketball is boring as f. Hey let’s dribble play zero d and shoot a 3
The Freddie mural in Hawthorne is also a great one to check out as an honorary mention, the rest of these are amazing!
Definitely getting that one in part 2 🔥

Store owner will be going right out of business if that mural gets removed. Probably not even a native Angeleno, either (ugh)...
It could make an appearance somewhere else 👀
Kelly and Kiki not Dodgers
You are correct that Kiki isn’t a Dodger, but Kiké damn well is a Dodger.
