@@CasmoTV My co-workers frequently say "Oh man, we get together for games all the time!" and want me to join, and all I can think is "That is the fastest way for me to get fired for my mouth". I can clamp down on it when I'm in a work meeting, but I would be fuuuuuuuuuuucked if we were playing a game together and I'm getting shot and letting the hate flow.
I think another reason that sim pilots get hung up on VRS is because at some point it became a litmus test for the realism of a helicopter flight model. It was an edge case that wasn’t simulated well, if at all, and I’m guessing it got popularized about a decade ago when ArmA added VRS to their RotorLib flight model.

In very general terms - is DCS Kiowa very different from Apache in terms of handling in the air? I have 600 hours in apache and I wonder if I'd like to switch sometimes...
In game chat works very well if you dino,s would move with the times an get on board and stop using 3rd party software we would all be on the same page lol

This thing seems awesome. Can't wait to buy and fly it day one. The only thing I can see that could use some work is the audio of the weapons. I'm very glad to see that's the only thing wrong sticking out to me. Other than that, seems like a well made module! The audio sure as shit ain't gonna stop me from loving it.

Y'know that fuckin Irene scene in BHD ? The Little Birds lifted off a foot or two... turned about 10-20 degrees left. Skids back on the ground... and then took off one by one... Why is that ?

VRS is also a huge problem in DCS because everyone turns wind off. Even a little wind will make it almost a non-issue in most helos.
