서태지 정규 9집 ‘콰이어트 나이트’(Quite Night) 타이틀곡 ‘크리스말로윈(Christmalo.win)’은 서태지가 그려낸 어른들을 위한 동화다.
특히 ‘크리스말로윈’ 시네마 버전 뮤직비디오는 노래가 담은 메시지를 총 8분에 달하는 감각적이고 독특한 영상으로 표현한 작품이다.
서태지의 ‘크리스말로윈’ 시네마 버전 뮤직비디오는 평화로운 할로윈 마을에서 벌어진 미스터리한 사건을 통해 선과 악에 대한 우리의 정형화된 인식을 뒤집는다. 또 무시무시한 산타의 음모와 “요람에서 무덤까지”라는 거짓 약속을 통해 세상의 숨겨진 진실에 대해 이야기한다.
이 뮤직비디오는 쟈니브로스 홍원기 감독이 연출을 맡았다.
