I have s40r and I bought this extractor to play with my laptop, I connected hdmi from laptop to hdmi in and optical to soundbar but no audio device is showing in laptop also 5.1 light in extractor is also not indicating anything when i press 5.1 button

Why not directly connect optic cable form motherboard to 5.1
Also 5.1 on such cheap home theaters support only 2.0 audio channel in control panel you can check

Not possible, I've tried. Dolby access app doesn't even recognise my 5.1 soundbar, we need audio splitter for that.

Mere pc me i3 ka 3rd gen prosser hai window 10 ke sath isme 5.1 configer ka option watermark jaise hide hai kaise enable karu. Samsung b67e/xl sound bar hai. Please reply hdmi ke through.

You can connect but 5.1 surround wont work, you need audio splitter for this case.

Bhai agar aapka sound system 2.1 se niche hai to chalega.
But agar 5.1 hai to Bluetooth se connect karne pe 2.1 ka output he aayega.
