Hello, please help me to choose, hts350 have x-force surround while hts20r need to properly arrange the speaker at the back to get surround sound, which one should I get?
I am planning to buy this one. I have already provisioned cable for rear speakers in my ceiling. Is there a possibility that I can use existing my cable that flows from ceiling to tv panel. Reason I ask this question is that, at the subwoofer end of cable there is clip which I feel may be problem for me. Also is it fine to cut in built cable and then join to my existing cable using tape? If not what's alternative?
I heard with HDMI arc this system which is Sony hts20r it doesn't decode the Dolby digital audio it only does with optical mode. Please reply I got the device towards and been tensed after hearing this.😢

@@RatulSahahammer I even replaced my unit guess even costly Sony units have the same issue we can to use audio extractor which costs around ₹1000 Even the spdif is at 2.0 So 5.1 is possible only via tv arc or audio extractor when via pc and using the good old 3.5mm to red and white composite cable it costed me just ₹150 for the cables and I can get 5.1 audio now via pc

@digit Is it ok to place the subwoofer horizontally? since both speaker and bass hole are in the front of the unit. I'm having placement constraints in my AV unit.
You will have to cut the cable from the middle and use another cable to extend it. Make sure to use good quality cable and secure the joint properly for the best experience.

Both are good options. In both cases, the surround speakers need to be kept behind you.
