In September, we welcomed baby #7! So we've taken a few weeks off school and will start again in October.

My favorite homeschool channel. So much good information. I’m leaning about homeschooling. This is my first year with my son and I can relate with the books and activities ❤❤❤❤ thank you so much for this information

Do you think that The Kind Kingdom Volume 1 and the Nature for Children would be good for a 4th grader? I am trying to figure out if it is a good for. I think Volume 2 might be too much especially with learning to focus or building focus.

For the Nature journaling from the Peaceful Press would you use it by itself as a science unit study or how does your family use it? Do you pause history and use the nature journals for science or alternate days with history etc? We are here in the Midwest also. This is our first year homeschooling.

@@RootedHomeLife thank you. We started with Gather Round. We are finishing up one unit but I think we will alternate after this unit. We may even start venturing out 😊
I hope to join the online homeschool group at least by next year. I love your channel.

I love your channel and have learned so much. But I find it super disappointing that Wild and Free excludes fathers who are primary or substantive educators of their children at home. They don’t require members be Christians, follow the same homeschool philosophy or be ideologically aligned. Bit heaven forbid a father taking the lead on educating his boys wishes to participate in nature groups.

@@chelsealangston22 hey! I hadn’t really thought about this, but understand you feeling this way. If I’m honest, I do enjoy the women-only conferences, but I do also love the family-style conferences like Teach Them Diligently. I guess I like them for different reasons. For the groups, I didn’t realize Dads weren’t supposed to come, as we’ve had Dads come along in our group.
