    I've been using the Theradome LLLT helmet since 2018. At the time it came highly recommended by my dermatologist who also used laser therapy in his clinic. My personal experience is that it has been highly effective in preventing addiction hair loss and also help with some regrowth. It's a big reason that I've just recently started exploring RLT for broader applications.

      I have had a similar experience using the Theradome to initially treat both alopecia areata and androgenetic alopecia. I use the MitoRed panel now to maintain the results. However, addressing hairloss has to be a multi-pronged approach because you need to slow the production of DHT in the scalp (e.g. using finasteride or dutasteride). I also use topical minoxidil for extra benefit. Even though I'm almost 60 and experienced alopecia when I was 21, I've still managed to maintain my hair.

      @@Aurla-R2-D2, you can. You also can use a mixture of the castor oil, pumpkin seed oil, coconut oil. Add rosemary drops to it, and lavender too. Mix well and apply lightly with fingertips, cover the head so the warmth will absorb it well. You can do this two hours before you plan to wash your hair. Also black seed oil internally will work. Also ensuring you are not iron deficient, have low thyroid issues, low sex hormones ( especially estrogen and progesterone), or low protein intake. All these affects hair loss. yeah, I've been doing red light for a few years now in many forms, including a hat, and aint nothing visible growing up there (didn't actually know it was "supposed" to grow hair, just trying to healthfully counteract emperor newsom's anti-sun edicts)...I gave up on hair over 20 years ago when my wife shaved me bald, but my wife cried. She had told me 28 years ago that she fell in love with me for my long wavy hair...she still looks 20 (literally - asian...) and I look like her grandpa and while I don't miss my hair at all, I sure miss the way she used to look at me before the kids and hair loss... So now I'm trying, again, this time nizoral + dermaroller + castor/caffeine/rosemary/melatonin + minoxidil. If you don't hear back from me, it worked and I'm too busy to post...

      Hair loss for a man isn't any less attractive to me, in fact rather it's rather "manly" which is very attractive. Full head of hair, or no hair, it's ends up being how he carries himself and acts. And if a woman isn't looking the same at her partner the way she used to, then it was going to happen anyway over something else. The same holds true for a man not looking at his partner the same after a physical change.

  • @jasonf2126
    @jasonf2126 11 месяцев назад +7

    One issue is why you don't see regrowth is because a lot of your hair follicles are long gone and closed up. It's kind of the rule of taking Min/Fin you really often only gonna grow back the last X years of hair that you lost. meaning those fallen 10 years ago are gone forever.
    But at the same time I've some hyper responders to min/fin.

    i've been using RLT for some time now. I don't think i look "young" like that, but whenever i go to but a lottery ticket every other week...they will ask me for my ID to see if i'm 18 or not. The first time that it happened to me, i though the guy was joking...but he wasn't. I don't know if its the combination of things i'm doing, or the RLT itself, or both - but, others (except myself) think i'm at least 10+ years younger than I really am from head to toe. You mention it in the video, but red light therapy can be a good supplemental treatment for hair loss when combined with other treatments, including Minoxidil, Finasteride/Dutasteride, and micro needling. If you are trying to tackle a problem like hair loss, for best results you want to try everything that has scientific evidence backing it.

    great video! questions for you, alex: 1) according to my understanding, you are saying that it doesn't matter if the diodes are LED or laser, it's the power output and the frequency we are after. however, i have read recently that there is some research to suggest that laser diodes are more effective for hair loss than LEDs because they penetrate deeper. why do you say it doesn't make any difference? 2) i am gathering that it doesn't necessarily matter that certain helmets, such as the irestore elite, have a great many more diodes than most panels and both laser and LED at that, because the panels are generally much more powerful than the helmets so even though they may contain less diodes, you will still experience superior coverage because they are larger and more powerful. is that correct? 3) assuming 1 & 2 are true, it is your opinion that a panel represents a better value because you can use it for other parts of the body. i'm just wondering if you've looked at the specs on the irestore elite and can really say that. i am not an expert, but it seems like the irestore elite is the best thing on the market for hairloss in terms of its specs (other than the laser messiah, which is a boutique product with limited availability). if it turns out i could have the same benefit from a panel that is why less expensive and also be able to use it for other purposes, i would definitely go that route. would love to know your thoughts! thank you!

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  3 месяца назад

      1No, I don't think that lasers will penetrate deeper with the same irradiance. A photon is a photon, although there are VERY slight differences, such as the polarization of light
      2)The panels are more powerful but aren't directly placed on the scalp of people. And because of reflection, lots of light goes lost (opinions differ on how much reflection accounts, for).
      3)In my opinion, if you get your head close to a panel, and use a handheld or tabletop for the top of your head, you can mimic the results of a helmet more or less! It's a hassle that most people prefer to avoid.

    I've been using the irestore professional version helmet and I think it definately helped me, and I saw a difference in the first few months of use. I have been using for 3 years now though wish I splurged on the panels instead now. But super do not recommend nutrafol!! Do not buy - I spent 3 months on it and 1) it's very expensive and they list their ingredients so you could just buy (even organic) versions of the same supplements individually for much cheaper otherwise this is just not sustainable if you have to keep taking it for years 2) it has insane levels of biotin in it which not only have no studies backing up it's effectiveness at those levels, but it caused severe acne on me worse than when I had as a teen (acne prone people beware!) to the point that I got scars all over

    Hey have you heard of anyone using a flexbeam red light therapy to help with hair growth, I just had a hair transplant and interested to give it the best chance I can also would rather not buy another machine either. 😂

    Has anyone told you how cute you look with your bald head?

    What I've learned is LLLT minimises the telogen shedding phase so you spend more time in the growth phase. The best treatments I've found are microneedling, Minoxidil, adequate sleep, fasting and sun exposure. Rosemary and peppermint essential oil and even onion juice topically. I'm trying everything here, just started LLLT (665-880nm), but I think it's more of a complementary treatment to aid microneedling and Minoxidil. My only question is can we overdose on LLLT? Is there a daily time limit?

      Yes, you can reach a point of overdosing. I believe RLT does complement other treatments.www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2790317/
