I used to see riders & horses on my way to Watford, Hertfordshire..& used to slow down .. 5 mile ph. if that and never rave the engine…. give them plenty of space .. stay well clear of them & have love & respect for both of them.. ( there’s a riding school in that area)

I’ve watched several tourists immediately check, with whoever is recording for them, to make sure that they got it all on video.
