  • This is the first video (a teaser) in a series we will be doing on 3D Printing hero, Eric Lamoray. Eric lives on a boat off the coast of Guatemala and is using 3D printing to change peoples lives. His stories are truly incredible, heart warming, and inspiring.     How do you manage humidity for the filament?

      I'm not sure how Eric manages it, but at Slice (we live in humid Florida!), we use an activated alumina desiccant that is 10x stronger than silica gel. You can find some on our website!

      Desiccant and filament dryers. I even feed filament to my printers directly from a dryer. It works! Your activated alumina has my interest though....

      Given you're doing all you can to squash small time, open-source projects that are similar to projects that form many of the design choices for your very own hotends.
