You guys sure enjoy your life together. It's interesting to see how different things are in other parts of the country from my home in Minnesota. Thanks for the video.
Like everyone else I would just like to congratulate you on the fine job you did with Hannah...in this day an age what a genuinely nice human being she is,this is the sort of role model young girls nowadays really need..,.5 foot nothin but never defeated, the complete opposite of what sadly seems to be the norm nowadays....
Jeff, I have to say you done good man. Everything I've seen of you and family is the best it could be, God bless you and your family. Run for president or something, real and true is red, white, and blue.
Crazy how bigger a/t or m/t tires will make a truck look a lot better. First thing I did when I got my Tacoma was put 33’s on it and made a huge difference. And I agree with the suspension over the body lift haha. Might be cheaper to do the body lift but if you’re going to be using it off road or on trails going to the stand or blind then you’d definitely want a suspension. May cost more but worth it in the long run.
Hey Jeff, I would put those leafs on top that rear axle less time and money. An axle flip kit from summit or jegs, break fluid and maybe a small pinion angle adjustment before you button it up..
When you get a few extra dollars I would opt for a lift kit. It will set the front end up right so it won't eat tires and cv joints. I have done in home lifts before on independent type front ends and they never worked out for the most part. Hannah deserves the best...
Jeff you are the know all, do all guy! I love it! I was like you when I was younger (I'm 74). Maybe that's why my sons think so much of me? Live life while you can. I love you two's videos!
PS: when you crank the torsions, you create more positive camber so it will need to be re alined or you will wear the outside edge of the tires more in the front.
Sweet. Build the front bumper. Winch and two hooks/eyes for getting deep in the swamp. And a heavy duty rear bumper set up with the right tow hooks/eyes etc. Extra lights on the front bumper too. Hell yea, make a really great "hunting truck" for sure.
I think we could make a new drinking game; everytime you say "Anyway " we have-to take a drink. Lol. Don't you ever change brother, we appreciate you, just the way you are..
3" wide fender flares will save the new mirror and keep it a little cleaner and mount Pickup Truck Bed Crane (Harbor Freight $159) to lift the deer and wild hogs into the truck bed
I like the rhino lining across the bottom idea. That would look good. Funny how you take video, edit, upload it, do all the work... then a puppy walks across the screen and it is like Jeff and Hannah who? put Merle back on the screen. :-)
I don't want to put any pressure on you guys, cause I'm sure you have some up and downs like all of us, but man, you guys sure lighten up my day! I thank you for that! God Bless you guys and in all you do
Just a lil tip but if you want to squeeze every inch of lift you can wash the truck. Especially get down underneath where all the mud really likes to pack up in small holes and on top on the T-case and transmission. All that mud is extra weight and will droop the suspension by a little depending on how much is present, but that is a good lookin Canyon. Keep up the great work!
I had a 1998 GMC Sierra 2500, 4x4, 8 foot bed green. regular cab bought it and had it for 13 years. I loved it. Had to get rid of it after it nickle and dimed me. But now I finally got another GMC, This one is a crewcab 4 full doors, 4x4 black 6 1/2 foot bed.
Better have the speedometer and computer re-programmed for the bigger tires because the speedometer and transmission shift pints will be off a lot now from the taller tires. Also better get a front end alignment too after changing the height like that. Gas tank door is an easy fix, needs a new spring. Get some fender flares to put on it. My Colorado came with them on it from the factory, so you can get these OEM made to fit for that truck.
A country boy can survive. Hank knew what he was doing when he wrote that song. If there ever was a time and we were ripped off the grid, you know who will be surviving, The Barron's and me because ill be looking for them to move next door.
The Rino Liner on the sides of the body is a good idea. Maybe for the rest of the body you could paint a camo pattern in the various colors of the mud around there.🤣🤣
New subscriber to both your channel & Hannah’s. I’m over in Eastern Oregon for now, but just bought a place in Montana. Anyway, you guys certainly are busy, but get so much done! Congratulations on both your channel’s success. Preciate ya’ll.
Theres always lift blocks for the rear, cool to see you all doin stuff together. Its also not too hard to make yourself up some u-bolts with those blocks
Have no idea why this came up in my recommended list but thanks for sharing your experience sir, very much appreciated! Good to know how you did all that work on the truck. The forest behind/around you in the video reminded me of Georgia or similar? I'm out here in Oregon and the lodgepole pines here are all up along the boarders of the high desert area. We get mule, black/white tail deer elk, antelope, dove, duck, geese, pheasant, chukar, grouse, turkey, black bear and cougar around the state here typically and a few spots for mountain goat. ANYWAY, if your looking for votes, I say wrap that little rambler truck in camo sir, definitely~ Good hunting to ya!
Get you some longer shackles for the back of the leaf springs, that will get the ass end in the air more and give you some room, and not that hard to do if you can get the bolts loose. Watch your front halfshaft angles, they're about as steep as I'd want them, keep an eye and make sure they don't tear up the boots, otherwise, looks good anyway.
They make finder extension material that you can use selftaping screws to add them on. They are trimmable with tin snips. It comes in different widths and are hardened plastic. That will keep truck cleaner.
I would install some shackles that are 2" longer than what's on the truck and purchase some air shocks. You can add or remove air as needed depending on loads you need to carry.
That I5 is hard to kill my 05 Colorado is still going strong after 190,000 miles and I’ve put it threw hell and back. It’s the perfect trail hunting truck in my mind but a vary close second is a Toyota.
Is that the new Denali version? 😂 I think a wood bumper front and rear would be just right. You could probably pick up a leaf at a wrecking yard. Are you going to re-gear the axles? Thanks for the video and God bless.
Hannah... you need a Raptor, a wild truck for a intense girl 💪👩🔧... the problem is that it is a expensive machine 😩. But glad to see to GMC works again, nice tires 🤟
@@kinotransam what?😳... why?... uhmm, F150 😒☹ well I don't why she did that, but the raptor is a great truck great performance, well maybe expensive maintenance or too much car for her, sad news, but thanks for the info, I was expecting too see her driving in the wild roads of Alabama 🤣
You guys should talk with Rick over at sqd up welding and put some 1 piece bumper brush guards on those trucks . He is over in Vernon alabama . Makes some awesome bumpers with brush guards . Jason over at hollis farms uses him for every truck he gets. Blessings to you and the family

He sure is precious Merle getting Hannah’s truck hunt truck fixed that’s awesome. Love y’all’s video. Have a blessed day as well Johnson.

What can Jeff Barron NOT do? Amazing individual with a very special daughter!
Cranking torsion bars and cutting things is about as easy as it gets.
It impresses me how people are impressed with mediocrity

Well, so far I haven’t seen him install a home network, but if he can, then I’ll truly be impressed all the more.
Sweet ride with a sweet little lady and a great pop's! U two are awesome. 🙂😉👍💛

New tire look great on Hannah’s vehicle. Love you guy’s, be safe, stay healthy, God Bless everyone.
I want you to keep saying "anyway" its part of the reason we all watch your channel and subscribed. Anyway thanks
Hannah is super lucky to have you in her life😁
badasssssssssssssss!!!!
He is lucky to have a daughter like hannah vice versa.
It is already camouflaged in good ol' fashioned mud! Good lookin' huntin' truck.
You can put some magnets under the gas cap lid to keep it shut.
Love how pumped the pup is, high spirits. Tube bumpers for the win.
Hey Jeff, I would put those leafs on top that rear axle less time and money. An axle flip kit from summit or jegs, break fluid and maybe a small pinion angle adjustment before you button it up..
That’s a cool little truck. Look good with a camo rap . Can’t wait to see her finished .
I think Hannah's puppy knows how cute he is. haha

Also wear out the front CV axles faster.
Also toe’s it in which wears it more than the camber would.
Ye, but garsh darn it it looks so goddum guud and we made a Utuube vidya out of it. Cansarnate it's the best dang truk she gonna ever have neither

3" wide fender flares will save the new mirror and keep it a little cleaner and mount Pickup Truck Bed Crane (Harbor Freight $159) to lift the deer and wild hogs into the truck bed
Right on with the back woods upgrade. Real Americans roll like this, awesome family.
Suspension lift is the best way to go. Truck will look good when it's done. Ya'll keep up the good work, and God bless

Jeff, how about welding up a hand winch on a frame so Hannah can field dress a deer or a pig at the back of her rig?
Great video Jeff! Keep them coming. You all need to come hunting and ice fishing in Wisconsin, just saying. Look me up.
Hey Jeff, wonder about putting some spray foam in the fenders where you cut out for the tires to keep mud and water out so maybe it doesn't rust?
Hey, Jeff: Fixing it up right! Tell Hannah to cheer up, she seems down a little. We love you both!!
Jeff don't forget the spring on the gas cap lid .her truck is so cool
Coilover shocks worked wonders on my truck. And it's a lot easier to replace those than mess with the springs

That truck looks good in dirt road tan with those tires. Cant wait to see what’s next for the huntin’ truck. 😀
Love how the truck looks and I love that cute doggie
Theres always lift blocks for the rear, cool to see you all doin stuff together. Its also not too hard to make yourself up some u-bolts with those blocks
And introducing the star of the show Merle Stubbs and you could do a spring shackle lift on that rear end with longer shackles
my face hurts from smiling after each & every one of your videos.
That little dog is something else 🤣😂

I like the paint color..no two tone just polish it up and its awesome
My Mom was from Kentucky and she always said warsh cloth instead of wash cloth. 😃 I love the southern accent. Anyway take care.
You had a square body that was the perfect hunting rig
Merle!!!!! love that pup!!!
Blue magic headlight restore will make those lights like new ... can get it at walmart
Sweet looking tires there.
They make finder extension material that you can use selftaping screws to add them on. They are trimmable with tin snips. It comes in different widths and are hardened plastic. That will keep truck cleaner.
Merle is a superstar. 😊😂😂
Such a sweet young lady. Jeff..ya done good Sir.
Looks good with the big tires 👍
I didn't see any grime on the kid's paws. I'm betting all the grime was on Pa's paws. Looks like Merle loves his Paw-Paw.
Yeah, but have you seen grab a snapping turtle like it's a puppy LOL

That Arrow stripe detail looks so cool!

wood bumper would he nice!
Brother your just a jack of all trades
Body lift, make that square tube bumper with a winch plate. I like the flatbed idea too.
Between the rainstorms and mud puddles my truck gets washed plenty. Never seen a rain cloud that I had to feed quarters either!
We all love you Hannah and your dad!
Hannah... you need a Raptor, a wild truck for a intense girl 💪👩🔧... the problem is that it is a expensive machine 😩. But glad to see to GMC works again, nice tires 🤟
She already had a white Raptor. I believe she traded it for the new green F150

I think the truck you started with would have worked just fine lol. Those oversize tires look good though!
Like a whole new truck!!
Damn Jeff you are proof college don't mean shit!!!
What are you talking about Jeff graduated from Harvard

I'm with Hannah. A good coating of dirt protects the paint.
That is true
No! Don't ever make that suggestion again
Nice job Jeff!!
Cool truck for a cool girl...I used to have a ZR2 S10 that I wish I still had but can't keep everything, fix her up👍
