Well now that Cricut's secret is out, I'm not stuck with buying their foil. It's not expensive but for the same price you can get yards and yards more of the no name brands from AliExpress. Thanks for letting the cat out of the bag.
If you want HOT FOIL, I highly recomment Blue Bonnet on Facebook. She ships quickly and it's only $5 a roll. Her colors are beautiful. Message her. I don't support Ali Express.
@@NancyStamps I appreciate it was made a few years ago, but assumed the foil quill is something you continued using and would be able to give me some idea of what settings i might start with. Thank you :-)
Thank you for showing both of way to foil with scan and cut!
Happy New Year! ❤
Thank you for sharing. I watched videos on foil transfer and they only recommend laser printer. I dont have one so im going to try your method
That's for toner foil, hot foil is this method and works on most papers.
Thanks! Very interesting!

Hi I went to you Amazon link and couldn’t find the B adapter.. can you help please
It should have come with your foil quill.
Here you go: amzn.to/3lRz3Pv
This can not be used with the handheld pen foil quill
Does the SNC DX125 also need the B adapter?
I'm not sure. I think all SNC use the same blade holder? You would have to look it up.
Will Blue Bonnet Foil work too?
Yes! Blue Bonnet has toner and Hot foil. Look for FoilQuill foil. :)
what settings for pressure and speed wre actually used with the foil quill please? Thank you
I'm sorry that video was 3 years ago so I don't recall.
