i see now what Chosen said about this mod... it's SO boring but i really like how he's doing his best to make it entertaining, it's definitely working, thanks Chosen!
@@drakemasta9655 yeah, a GregTech required item would definitely break the whole fun part 🤣, thankfully there's a lot of stuff that can be replaced or straight up skipped in MI
Despite the negativity I occasionally see about this pack, this is the best content I can find on the topic. I love watching you actively learn about it, and seamlessly integrate it with all your prepwork. ATM is all about project management and efficiently managing all the resources into a defined end product. Technically, MI is just a tiny aspect of the larger whole. I absolutely hated Greg tech, but this time around I finally started to get all the fun of creating work flows and managing massive amounts of disparate products. All that being said, wish I had seen this video before I got into it myself. Learning on my own was great, but you cover so many of the things that were painful learning experiences for me. Anyways, I love it. Keep it up, Chosen one.
This mod single-handedly made me not wanting to go for the ATM Star, I am thinking about cheating myself around MI and doing the rest of the pack tbh. Beeing 100+ hours in I dont just want to quit
Don't give up. I've been sitting with all but the MI pieces to the star waiting on chosen to get to MI just so I could have a guide to finish this pack. I have never even been close to finishing a star for an atm pack. Always quit. We going to finish this together
Afaik, advanced motors aren't needed for uranium rods. This progression is way beyond nuclear stuff. So he didn't need to do any of this episode. So either atm10 changed some recipes, or he's going for quantum armor and whatnot.
@@Wheres_my_Dragonatornot needed for the rods but the large motors are one of the three MI components to the star. Only pieces I'm missing in my playthrough. Been waiting for these videos lol
Greg/MI are way more knock off factorio than minecraft. And balanced by being annoying instead of difficult. I wish packs would stop throwing them into their progression just because "they take a long time".
It is just now clicking that MI is just modern Gregtech, and that may be just what I need to play it again, I loved it in All of Fabric when I played that
Just so you know you can eternal stellar the graphite rods for the arc furnace after they have some durability loss when you eventually get to making tungsten
@muidh glad I could help you cannot stellar them immediately after making them for some reason, either it's a bug, or the game thinks they don't have durability when they're un-used
@ if you use the metal press instead of the workbench you get a 50% integrity rods instead of the full one so you dont have to lose the durability then use the stellas. thats what i did atleast
@@muidh that's just extra steps and resources I basically had everything to make the arc furnace and squeezer with no issues immediately, I just needed to use the easy villager trader to get the graphite rod blueprint After that point i didn't know the rods could be stellared as it didn't work immediately then I tried again after the arc furnace was running for 20 minutes and realised you could after the rods had durability taken Also the arc furnace can accept raw blocks which makes it faster and you can use the time wand on the middle of the multi-block under the overhanging part, unfortunately you cannot put a soul accelerator on there
chosen I have a small suggestion. just to see if it is possible. on the MI machine that produces oxygen and hydrogen, put redstone upgrades and bind them to the slots. make this upgrades so that when full, stop emitting signal. when empty emit signal. and make the machine work on redstone signal. with a void upgrade in that drawer, you now have a system that refills oxygen and hydrogen when it is used. AND most importantly it stops when both are full.
Its pretty crazy this is episode 46 and were still not done with Modern Industrialization, goes to show how big the pack is I guess. My issue with this mod is by the time I’ve gotten here I feel like I’ve really over-engineered all of my resource production beyond anything I’ve done in any other mod pack, and I get to MI and I’m running out of materials almost immediately. Millions of certus gone for the silicon. Copper/Gold/Iron not so much an issue, but everything else is struggling. Several bees/MA seeds per resource and this mod eats everything. Just seems grindy and unnecessary, and it goes to show why it turns so many folks away from it.
Anyone having issues with ATM10 rn? Artifacts is being weird and I’m getting crashing because my drivers are out of date? I checked all drivers on the website and I’m good.
I get how seeing MI as like Satifactory with passivle manucacturing lines. but it still looks like an utter grind. at least with Gregtech you have AE2 to help and useful multi blocks. Good to have guild e but yeah stil not acuta playing ATM 10
Extended industrialization has the array multiblock to do parallel processing, which the pack should have. The array is a multiblock that takes in up to 64 electric machines and processes stuff faster to reduce the wait. ATM10 doesn't have industrialization overdrive mod that gives multi array that does parallel processing for MI's multiblock machines though, which is odd.
MI is not fit in ATM10 at all. It needs to be played separately with other mods that supports it. MI have Satisfactory style gameplay, you need to automate every bit of resource for it to make it fully functional. It's really grindy.
All the mods going for being half the Greg tech. I kinda like that. Some more insane Gregtech type mods in atm 11 might be cool. Lighter version but still atm like. Bring up allthemodium tougher to get through fluids and odd ways and not ore possibly. Then maybe space mod.
