12:00 Im playing Craftoria currently and focusing on MI. I found that the easiest way for me to store both items and fluid was a backpack with a tank upgrade.
You can use any villager regardless of profession, as soon as you give them their respective “work station” they’ll take that trade, just make sure they’ve never been traded with. I’ve personally been putting of MI for way too long, this video will help a bunch. Thanks.
11:04 There is also the ME Ingredient Buffer from AE2 the can store anything and it‘s way cheaper to build for someone who hasn‘t gotten far into the mod yet.
man this is such great info, I can't even imagine trying to go through this mod without these tips or the visuals on how to do things. great video and great tips!!
also, you mentioned that you had 2 streams that you went over all of this in more depth - could you link those 2 streams in the description as well so we can get to the right ones?
18:30 That moment when the tutorial maker realizes he's been doing it wrong the whole time. 🤣🤣 This pack updates a lot John... I wonder if the recipe was added in a recent update and you just didn't notice the change? GREAT VIDEO by the way.
@8:00 when you wanna swap the primary output of a pattern, the little icon next to the output in the encoder terminal will let you cycle through the outputs. Just click until the one you want is the primary.
For the fluid/item patterns in the Kanthal section, you wanna use ME Interface. Open the AE2 guide for interfaces, but the short story: When a pattern provider pushes into an un-filtered ME Interface, the interface will attempt to store the materials instantly. Set up storage busses on the inputs - DO NOT FILTER THE STORAGE BUSSES - and the me system will auto allocate based on what can go where (you should do this for the auto-forge, enchanter, etc. as well.
Just so you’re aware, the little circle icon next to the styrene/hydrogen in the beginning switches the output, so you don’t have to memorize numbers, just keep hitting the switch button until the primary result is what you’re looking for.
Another tip: With the Soul Surges and Soul Pipes from Industrial Foregoing you can tick accelerate every machine. This can be very helpfun as the machines from MI are kinda slow…
I thought you also needed to lock the recipe if you wanted to install upgrades in the machine. I put some basic upgrades in my machines and it did nothing, the overclock bar also said something about locking the recipe to benefit from upgrades.
the biggest tip with this mod is to do as little of it as you can. Check the items and materials that are dictionaried with each other and use them to skip of much of this godforsaken mod as you can 😅
I kinda disagree with how you went about automating everything. In my experience playing w/ MI, stuff get's processed super slow-and the only way to circumvent the slowness was to overclock a recipe. SO, what I decided to do was to have machines making all the stuff I would need for, say, circuits all the time. That way, I wouldn't have to worry about the hundreds of thousands of basic circuits I'd need for the really high tier circuits because I already had them being made in the background. I'd suggest making "processing lines" for several important materials-plates, screws, bolts, etc. -- and running these as much as possible. In ATM10, this shouldn't be an issue at all given how easy it is to infinitely generate resources (prod. bees, mystical, etc.). Even if you're sticking to just MI-you can easily keep up with the demands of your processing lines just by setting up several miners and a good automatic ore-processing setup. Though, if you really want to incorporate AE2 auto-crafting, one thing to note that I am not sure you pointed out in the vid--make sure to use SEVERAL machines to split up all the recipes (i.e., don't put a pattern provider with 50 different recipes for one macerator, make several macerators with say 5 recipes for each one). Hope this helped! Sorry if my comment came off as negative, I did think most of the video was very helpful and well-done :)
I missed one part of the ATM star!!! This is still like a 99% guide and the last thing is really easy once you have all of this!

That is such a smart and simple way to do that!

Yes! And it’s WAY easier to make!

Great idea! I’ll do that.
@@JohnHall3 TY for the streams, very helpful stuff my guy.
Thanks!!
Inventory buffer is a block that resolve the problem with working with different types of items, liquids and items
… the things you learn. That is such a more reasonable solution! Thanks!

Thank you! I am not sure if I just didn’t look or what, but it was a tough realization!

Such good advice. Thank you!
I started a playthrough in atm 10 and boy its so overwhelming 😂 Thank you so much for these videos!
I got you! It is a LOT

Wow! That is a much better way of doing it!
Thank you!
@@JohnHall3 I learned that when I was working on the GregStar in all the mods 9 and it’s such a game changer lol

Yes! I used the time wand for mine, but this is a better way to do it!
Some great information in here!!
Thanks!!!

I think if you don’t then the efficiency just resets everytime you start a different craft
Subnets on you ME networks make setting up all these auto crafts a little cleaner, plus you use way less channels. I highly recommend
Does it make it any faster? I have heard that before but I can’t say that I understand why. Especially if I have channels to spare.

That is a fantastic and well thought out response. I agree my method is quite slow
12:03 you could use ender io conduit
Good point!
How id you put the steam in the auto-requester? when I drag it from JEI it disappears
Tbh I don’t remeber
But I think I was able to drag it from the right side…
@@JohnHall3 figured it out, left click with a bucket adds the bucket but right click adds the fluid.
Is the a solution to convert rf energy to this eu energy that can powers electric machine from modern industralization?
Yeah use universal cables!
ME Buffer Chest can take fliuds and items
I just found out about this lol
i think for the machine making u can use the auto trader !!
You are probably right!
u can use an me ingredient buffer insteam of the entangloportal
That is true! I found this out WAY after the fact lol
PLZ MAKE A END FARM VIDEO FOR ATM IS SO DIFFERNT THAN REGULAR MC
Go check out the apotheosis video. I build exactly that!
@@JohnHall3 Oh no way Im new to MC so didnt know they were apart of that mod TYYY!!!!!!! Keep going on the tutorials and streams
