Awesome tip! I'm definitely going to pick up a set of the micron pens - they're pretty cheap too! I'm a newcomer to 40k & painting, so there are so many products like these that I'm completely unaware of! In your experience, would these pens also work on curved/rounded surfaces like space marine shoulder pads? I'm hoping these could be used to help with freehanding pack markings on my Space Wolf shoulder pads. I've gotten a few of my first SW units fully painted, with the exception of the shoulder pads, as I've been too nervous to attempt them. 🙂
No worries! I’m glad these will help! They are fantastically easy to use and make the models tons better without crazy eyes! :) if you have any other suggestions on videos please feel free to drop me a line! :)
They can certainly help with freehand stuff as well and they do do other colours which are easier camouflaged if you paint over them. Decals are your friend if you are doing a full army. I only ever do free hand on one off display models.

I use micro pens for 40k details all the time. And I save dead micro pens with water down paint for touch ups
Fantastic idea! Thanks for the comment!
1/35?
Yes can be used do do detailing on 1/35 scale models as well for sure!
@@WarpGateStudios Thanks for the solution. Think doing the eyes is the most challenging part for most.
