Such a heartwarming sight! 🥰 Watching mama Ubi and little Munah together is pure joy. It's amazing to learn about their unique characteristics and history. Kudos to ZooTampa for sharing this precious moment with us! #ZooTampa #BabyTapirLove
Munah is a little cutie pie! Aren't all babies irresistible?!? She looks healthy and happy with mom. I love their markings. I never would have guessed they are related to horses...... Or rhinos! Thank you for the sweet video. 😊❤️😊🦏🐴
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the markings on baby tapirs are so fun to see - they look more like stuffed animals than real animals. 🥰 I was amazed to learn their genetic connections were with rhinos and horses. Who'd have thought? Have a great day and thanks for watching!
I agree with your observation, Frank! Their faces contort in such funny ways when they move their snouts around. I've been watching mom and dad for quite awhile now and wondered when they would finally have a little one. It's wonderful to see this calf thriving.

Cute little fellows. Look like a cross between a hog and an elephant with those noses. I know they aren't, just an observation.
