Unfortunately EA is very much a company that will stop putting money into something just because and they will let the game burn and the developer will get all the heat which bioware did not deserve the heat that this game generated because of course Andrew Wilson the Australian douchebag forced them to put this game out in such a horrendous State instead of giving them that Grace period to fix it.
@@Meme_dad1 thats because the Division got the Game of Thrones treatment lol. i.e. they said "we just got the go ahead to do something star wars, so we better hurry up and tie this up... dont worry, no one will notice or care when we are done because they will be too infatuated with out new star wars project..." then proceeded to screw up the IP significantly, and yes, people DID care, notice and are upset about it... as for the Division, they ARE trying to fix things, but so much of their original team is scattered that its taking forever. *sigh*
It's thanks to Anthem that i got into Destiny 2. It was my first looter-shooter and by far my favorite. If they brought it back, i would drop Destiny 2 and run back to Anthem in a heartbeat.
Same, I got into Destiny 2 through my Anthem friends when they left Anthem. If you haven't tried Borderlands, that franchise is my favorite looter shooter :)
Oh I an original destiny player from the beta from the first one and i went over to anthem and I'm right there with you. I will drop destiny 2 if they bring anthem back and fix the game up and actually give it to love it deserves because it deserves every damn second of it
I played on release, did all 4 characters. Did all Raids. Levelled to top tier, all weapons. Loved it. But they abandon us, we went through glitches, crashes, poor loot. We stuck with it. But in the we got tossed aside . Shame such fun game. Took big break from destiny with a group of my clan. Been a day one Destiny player, still playing. Watching your videos all the time. Keep up the good work.
Anthem was great, it's main issue aside from gaming glitches was EA. EA basically force rushed this game to be pushed out and was perfectly okay with fixing the issues after release. But when the issues were too big and players made it clear, EA went into panic mode and expected a fucking miracle
Anthem was a game that I got on the hype train for - I was looking for a change from Destiny and the dream of being Iron Man was so tempting. Then it launched and my heart was broken. I did end up buying a copy for the princely sum of $1 from the bargain bin of a game store, but it's never been opened. A friend of mine did end up playing it (post patches) and has suggested many a time for me to at least have a try. I may end up giving it a go since it is on Gamepass and the current season of D2 is just not grabbing my attention.
I bought Anthem at launch for £5 through a deal at TESCO, and I enjoyed it a lot, the gameplay is still my favourite iron man like experience ever, it's just a shame the story was pants and it lacked end game content at launch.
I played the game from the start and loved it. Sure it had its issues and bugs at first but it was new and fun to play. However I disliked how it wasn't given any attention during development and was rushed. I agree it has great potential and hope it's picked again and evolves into something even better.
Storms have a cloak like D2 Hunters but they're actually more like a Warlock with hovering and elemental abilities. Interceptor is more like a Hunter. Ranger/Colossus are like a Titan.
Anthem had so much potential. They gave up on it too quickly I think. I haven't played since launch I remember the missions being repetitive but the gameplay was amazing!
How's it going Sausage?! The class you’re playing is like a Mage type. Used to my main/favorite javelin to play back when it first launched. I stopped playing basically for the same reason as most people, lack of endgame, servers were crap a lot of the time, etc. The gameplay was fun fantastic though. Heres hoping some other devs revive this gem.
What stopped me was... higher level gear was meaningless because low power gear actually performed better, my campaign bugged out and I could never get past it, server lag and rubber banding across the map constantly and the crashes.
I was hyped for this when it was announced. The EDGE magazine article a while before release made it look so, so great. But even though I LOVED the flying (which, btw was a feature that was almost CUT) it just never clicked with me. I still visit it from time to time to have a fly around. As that almost cut function is the one that draws me back.
To cool your engines you can also fly low really close to the water or fly through water falls. The open world colossus monsters were always good. The UI was horrendous
Great stream sausage I loved playing with my wing man at the time and loved the game we both could not understand why no one ever picked it up and saw the same potential and what it could become, what a waste 😢😮
Never played it but that's because I don't play outside of first person. Nearly lost my left thumb when younger so play with limited movement and no feeling in and around the nail area. Jumping between third person and first makes me play even worse in both but Anthem really intrigued my interest. Never thought ied be saying this but destinys glitches on xbox left me without progressing tonics(only have about 25%). Beginning to think bungie are trying to make me buy a PS. Anyways back to Anthan, game play looks like something ied enjoy..! Thanks for sharing... "👍"...
I love this game! I got a small group that load up and play when we get the itch. I love my Ranger and the constant ‘ding!’. That one sound is the most important thing in the game.
3:10 You can actually cool your jets by flying low along the surface of any water from the mist you create or flying through a waterfall and it's spray.
I personally quit because i had found out they would be stopping development shortly after the tragedy of lawbreakers shut down, and just couldnt put forth the time to play a game that also wouldn't exist for too long.
Me and my partner played this on launch, we don’t play many games together to be honest but this was one of them and we both loved it, such a shame it was canned like it was
The game was absolutely awesome. On launch it wasn’t. After a few updates it was a throughly enjoyable game. It’s the first example of how RUclips Influencers dog-pilled on a game to the extent that the reputation damage made it impossible for the studio to continue to put any resources towards it. It needed a few tweaks and some ongoing support to provide more content and it would have been an absolute banger
I enjoyed it at launch, once a few bugs were fixed, but I quickly made my way through what story there was, and then it was announced that it wasn't going to get really anything else added to it and wasn't going to be supported any longer. So I walked.
This game had so much potential. I was traveling for work when it came out and was hoping it would be a good time sink. While I do believe I got my money worth. It didn't have enough of an end-game for me.
This was easily my biggest heartbreak in gaming ever. I waited for it from the day it was first announced, and even though it was in tatters at launch, once things stabilized a little, the game was genuinely enjoyable. Someone needs to scoop this IP and do it justice. There is something special here - it just needs to be realized and brought out.
Yes this game had potential played it to the max but the story was unfinished and started to get a lot of server problems. What i loved the most was the map was huge and multi leveled you could be doing something up the top whilst your team mates could be roaming somewhere far down the bottom that part of the game was unique.
The only problem with anthem was there wasnt enough anthem. If it had been run like destiny or warframe it would have beated both. I absolutely loved anthem i put a good amount of time into it. Only bad thing was they gave up yo early. It just needed more content. More things to do more loot and more cosmetics. Gameplay was fantastic
Stopped playing 4 months after launch because it was ultra repetitive and the updates were ridiculously minimal. Also on GM3 rewards were tremendously mediocre. Legendary is similar to Exotic in D2 and GM3 Strongholds rarely dropped Legendary items which was very frustrating for the time commitment.
If you fly close to the water so you essentially skidding on it the water will keep heat from progressing. Going through a waterfall will cool the heat (been a while soni dont know if it completely cools ornjust removes a portion)
I loved both the game and its concept and its made me so depressed how it dident get a chance to shine from what happened im just praying some day it will get picked up and given a chance.
The game is amazing, even in this current state. I know the loot sucks, and there's not a lot of content, but the vision is there! Somebody just needs to come up with a better loot system and more content for this game, make it a free to play like Destiny, charge for the expansions! Bring back Anthem!
The loot drops were bad in the end game. You could play the most difficult content and never get anything to help advance your build. But the gameplay was awesome.
It was fun but the problem came because it only had 2 factions to fight and only like 3 bosses. The town was supposed to be a whole town to explore and places to go ppl to talk to but they only had that small area to move around. Maybe 4 ppl to talk to. Once you got high level everything was super easy even on the highest level of play.
The game is super fun. The mechanics are good, and flying around is incredible! I will admit the story blew, but I have come to expect that from live action games. I will never get over this and forgive EA for not making it right.

It is a good game. There is a few bugs here and there. Nothing game breaking anymore. Just a bit annoying if it happens. Yes the game had a bad rough launch that it never really recovered from. It's an Iron man+ game. Grab it for a few bucks and have fun playing it out. People still play it, mostly individuals in other areas of the world. You can use the waterfalls to cool your jets. Just fly through them. If you want to get together and have some fun I would love that. Do not worry I will keep a bit quiet and not take over the vid if you are streaming/recording. What you are playing is "Storm" I believe it was called. It has an extended ability to hover and overheat much less in doing that than other Javelins. I like the Frost and Electricity elements for that Javelin. You can have up to three other people jump into your area for a total of four people playing and assisting each other in there mission. For me I never stopped playing the game but I can have long periods of no play. Long enough that I might have to relearn portions of the game when I play it.
The games negativity surrounding it is due to "bro" culture. Destiny 2 has the same issue. People need to STFU because honestly, I don't care what they think, about ANYTHING! I''ll decide for myself. What kind of special idiot does it take to go around and ask everyone what they think before trying something for themselves? You scared or something? It's just absolute idiocrasy. Anthem was a fun game. A true "Ironman" experience. Ruined by idiots and their mouths.
Storms hover has reduced heat build up its there main stick. I compare them more to warlock the float in the back andnuse there abilities to set stuff up.
My buddies and I played the beta and we all thought it was pretty awesome... and then the game came out and it didn't really have any more content than the beta.

I will defend this game to the day I die solely because it is beyond good and yeah the story may have been lackluster and the characters may have been a little bland but the world and the vibrant colors and the combat and the skills and the enemies and the lore and the fun or absolutely top tier and the only problem being that the game failed to have a good development company behind them because EA just freaking sucks ass at understanding when they have something good Because they would rather not try to burn some money to make it work. They would rather watch the game burn to the ground than ever fucking put a scent back into it. Anthem is one of the freaking best games I have ever played and I enjoyed every damn second of it despite the problems it had because you could tell the developers really love the game.
It is really is just that the company was in such disarray😢 that they just didn't care anymore. In what an opportunity missed when you consider destiny is still around?
I absolutely loved this game. So sad it didn't get the Division treatment and allowed to grow over time.
@@sherpagoolsbee8390 it should have gotten the bungie treatment. Cause division is hot 💩 at the moment

I loved this game, but it definitely wasn’t finished. If they remastered it and finished it, I would absolutely play it.

EA basically force rushed this game to be pushed out and was perfectly okay with fixing the issues after release. But when the issues were too big and players made it clear, EA went into panic mode and expected a fucking miracle

Doing good, I right with you there!
We need you on warframe. We currently have an ARG going on and a good sausage vid would be welcome about it.
Most Destiny players who main PvE and spend a lot of time lamenting Anthem need to be on Warframe, for sure.
I think warframe would be a good fit for the channel I just need to find a way to fit it in - if you see what I mean

It is really is just that the company was in such disarray😢 that they just didn't care anymore.
In what an opportunity missed when you consider destiny is still around?
I knew it was panned in the reviews but I bought it anyway..the gameplay fighting/flying was brilliant loved it even though it was broken
Anthem was so close to being a good game...But It was given up on to early.
