    Thank you, Sahra! Delicious! First time using Ginger in oatmeal. I started using Ginger to cut the sweetness in some of those prepackaged apple/cinnamon instant oats, too! Wonderful recipe!

    Ginger power is already on my shopping list. Thank you for this recipe! I have been eating porridge in the mornings for decades, but never tried it ginger in it. I sweeten with raisins, and add ground linseed on top (instead of chia). Why do you peel the apple?

    Thank you for this simple, healthy and filling recipe. ❤ I didn't have chicken, so hope using poppy is ok. Also added nutmeg, flaxseed and a few raisins. I'm surprised at how much it made from just 1/3 cup.
