I love the resilience framework. We never want to invalidate or minimize someones traymatic experiences but we also dont want to overblow negative experiences that we can grow and learn from.
Great conversation. I appreciated bringing up the value of the Harlow experiments despite the ethical controversies. Same for the limits of the ACE studies in terms of the large data sets which don’t necessarily apply to individuals. It’s that crucial we put these studies into proper perspective and don’t throw the proverbial baby out with the bath water. Well done SBK!
