The black one is a soap nozzle for pressure washers that have the soap check valve on the pump with the clear tube that you connect and put in a 1 gallon soap jug. The check valve won't pull soap unless there's no back pressure which is what the black nozzle does. (For those of you who don't know what the black nozzle is for)
Did you mean the guy who makes a video who displays an item he knows absolutely nothing about?
@@charlieharper2880 exactly what i thought.
What a great explanation of all the nozzle tips available. Now I'm definitely going to get a turbo tip for cleaning stacked stones at a garden job I'm doing. Thanks for sharing
Nice straight forward video on the hands on difference in nozzles. Thank you
The black one is for soap
That's a second video that somebody didn't know what the soap nozzle was for. As a matter of fact a pressure washer won't put out any soap unless it's pumping high volume low pressure.
Very informative video. Thanks for taking the time to actually show each nozzle in use.
Black is the soap or fluids in your pressure unit to spray on your work
Excellent video my brother, we appreciate your time and patience
I’ve been looking at those. I need something for stripping old paint in my shed. BTW, nice toolbox!
The black one is only used for mixing soap in while running the pressure washer.
They work great just take your time or you can see the circles . The black one is for soap injection
Well I'm sold! I'm ordering one right now. I was debating on ordering one but I can get one on ebay for about $10. I don't need the other nozzles they came with my power washer plus they gave me another set to leave a review. The turbo nozzle looks awesome.
The black tip is a soap tip. You put soap in the soap tank use the black nozzle and it soaps up your driveway, vehicle, siding, or whatever. You let it sit for about 20min and then use the use the appropriate nozzle finish cleaning. The soap nozzle is low pressure and is the only nozzle that will pull the soap through.
Never used the yellow tip I been using the white always...will use the yellow..my turbo nozzle was $119.00 at Northern Tool
WOW $119.00.
GREAT video! I'm a visual learner and you could tell me till the cows came home but, if you SHOW me a drawing or
an example, I've got it! Thank you so much. You're the sixth video I've seem and no one SHOWED how it WORKED!
Thank you for the simple tips that made sense!
So I'm subscribing and gave a thumb's up!
Good video, My craftsman pro has a relief valve if it sits for a minute it will discharge that hot water and keep cycling.
It basically gives the pressure of a zero degree tip but moves it faster than you could ever do by hand, covering a larger surface area. They are good. If you have a small and weak 1500psi electric pressure washer those spinny nozzles are the only way to get them to be effective at actually cleaning driveways
Its definitely a time saver. Thats fast.
Absolutely brilliant
What does the orifice size have to do with these Turbo nozzles? I'm looking for the most powerful Turbo nozzle to use on cleaning a aluminum 60 ft hull from barnacles and grime dirt etc
Also That's why the higher gpm of a washer correlates to effectiveness and efficient it is. And it's also important.
nice review. just purchase it today. hope it works good worx pressure washer. my driveway the same way to. 😉💯
the black on is for soap. it is low pressure high flow to create the venture effect to draw the soap from the bottle
I have my own pressure wash business and the green tip doing the sides with the green tip is plenty of power and i do a ton of driveways. I also use a 4,000 washer though.. also that red tip is for far to reach places specifically high spots even if your on a ladder and you're 10 ft short that red tip is a life saver !
Thanks for the info.
isnt the black tip for soap?
@@jake91hall Yes
“Black tip” lol
What pressure washer would you recommend?
P.S. Love to see a video of examples of ALL the different nozzles, like the angle nozzles and if different nozzles cleaned
different width. Also different pressure washers seem to have different "power/flow".
As in gallons per second. 4 GAL per sec, 3 GAL per sec etc, What's strong enough for a cement sidewalk but too
strong for vinyl siding, an old wooden deck, or PAINTED fence or glass window?
Can you SHOW examples of them doing the job? Haven't come across a video like that... only bits and pieces lol.
you sholdnt hit vinyl with prssure, its been 9 months i feel like you prolly found our your self, hit it with diluted bleach to kill all the algae and mold, mildue
Super video👍
Dammm The Nozzles....
The Tool Box is 🔥 Fire.!!!!
SOB! I just spent 3 hours cleaning my driveway with the 25 degree tip. I have a large driveway. 8 cars. This thing would have cut the time in half. Off to Amazon I go. The house is next.
Surface cleaners are even quicker
If you watch professional cleaner on RUclips you see them use both consistently so that's not true. People keep making this exact comment as if there can be no debating it. They can be good if hey have the right pressure washer attached. I've watched the comparison videos on RUclips and what you say just isn't universally true.@@mustaphakhalib
Thanks for sharing this video, sir.
I've been using turbo nozzles for cleaning concrete driveways years and I'll never go back to a regular nozzle. When hooked up to my Water Cannon 4200 PSI 4 GPM unit, it kicks some serious ass! Way better those overrated surface cleaners. They may be quicker but just don't clean as deeply and the swirlies it leaves behind come back to haunt you in no time. Because they're so effective, a job done with a turbo nozzle will simply last longer.
Black tip drops system pressure and allows an injector (if your unit has one) or you can add one to draw in soap to the line.
the 030 means 3.0 gallon per min. your pressure washer is 2.6 gpm
tnx for the vid
the black one is your soap tip for a soap /chemical injector
Get you a surface cleaner and presoak it with some soap. It will save you time, energy, and it will clean way better than any nozzel
Facts!
This guy is obviously a rookie
I have tried krud kutter concrete and driveway. It didn’t make a difference.
be nice if you could draw a staight line. Whats your point beyond you cant use the machine
Ralf1erudd thank you for taking the time to comment, any comment or thumbs up or down helps my channel grow.
The black tip is for soap injection a lot of pressure washers need the black tip in order for the soap to be injected
Good vid
nice! what does 2.5 or 3 gpm stand for? my pressure washer has a flow rate of 12L/min, will this turbo nozzle given in the link be compatible
@t
@t
Convert 12 L to Gallons
Gallons per minute
Turbo nuzzle is the same as the red but spins
15 years nice 👍🏾
Pumps create flow, pressure is the end result of restriction of flow
Man I need to get a turbo nozzle works better than the 40 degree wand nozzle
I want to be covering Atleast a foot a fully cleaned concrete as I’m going back n forth but it seems like they don’t make anything
What are you talking about?
So what size orifice would u recommend for a 2800psi @ 2.5gpm....a turbo nozzle that is...thanks
One rarely matches the published tables well. I prefer to be on or just a tiny bit below the recommended spec. I'm on 3700psi, 4 GPM, and use a #4. I should be on 4.25 but they don't make it and that makes me "a tiny bit under-sized". It works quite well. There are a few tips, things like ceramic inserts and etc to consider too. For you, I suggest a #3.

@@danfischer8166 thanks for the info bro
@@danfischer8166 according to the chart, wouldn't anextday need a #3?
Maybe I'm reading the chart wrong. LOL I'm trying to figure out what I need.
Mine is 2550 psi and 2.3 GPM. I think I should get a #3 as well, but I'm not positive.
@@lmdetect Yes, and yes. I see I typo'd my answer. The correct size for both of you is a #3. IMO of course. Keep in mind you're still only working w/2.3gpm, so you can only do so much. best of luck. -d
Thanks
Merk e ap kue kang?
The black one is for soap and if you keep your pressure washer running that long without running water, it will bring out the engine.
Actually, the engine is not what will go bad it is the pump that will overheat and wear out. You can safely run a pressure washer for a min or two before you need to pull the handle and get cooler water running through it. I have had the same pressure washer for over 15 years and have used it regularly and have not had any problems letting it sit static for a couple min before pulling the handle.
Surface cleaner. Lowes sells a good one for $150
Yep and they’re worthless unless you have a powerful pressure washer
Need to run an injector, black tip is for soap, chemical solutions. It will draw what is coming threw your injector line threw the pump.
The black nozzle is a soap nozzle which works with detergent. It should not be used for actual pressure washing.
Yes the black on is for soap
Whitch one is the best for cleaning the car?
I like the 15 degree fan tip.
The black attachment is for soap
This dude watches the Shopping Channel far too much. He's every snake oil salesmanship dream customer.
Thanks for watching.
In which pressure washer these will work?
Should work on any that has the standard coupler on the end of the wand.
My understanding is you want to select a turbo nozzle that is the same psi/gpm or close to same psi of what pressure washer you have. Such as I have a 3200 psi 2.5 gpm pressure washer. I've found a Simpson turbo nozzle with a 3.0 orfice size rated up to 3400 psi that will work fine with my machine. The actual orfice size by the chart for my particular machine is 2.8,but the 3.0 orfice will work. There are charts to determine psi and gpm to give you correct size of orfice you need for your particular machine. You select a turbo nozzle rated for higher pressure machine's it will not perform right, you select a nozzle that's to small orfice wise it's putting excessive pressure on your pump seals and will wear it out quicker. Again match it as close to possible of what your machine is rated psi/gpm.
i thought the little black tip for soap ?
No such thing as a “little black tip.”
What's the number for turbo nozzle and whats the name of brand , can you also share whats the name of the pressure washer machine with model , please sir
This is the exact turbo nozzle I bought.
amzn.to/4cCSNP6
This is my pressure washer.

Has anyone told you that the black one is for soap
Aslmx... Only about a hundred commentors have mentioned the black nozzle so far! Join the club. By the way, I bought a dedicated soap nozzle with a bottle attached or I guess they call it a "foamer". I have mixed soap, water and weed killer in that bottle and shot the entire back yard from my raised deck. BOOM!... Done in minutes. Take care
My wife says sometimes people don’t get my sarcasm. I have no clue what she’s talking about.
@@aslmx1918 You either huh? I guess wives are like that.
I just got my turbo,,
Careful with that zero degree tip. It will cut your foot right off 😳
Man you can't let a pressure washer just idle without spraying. It's the fast track to needing pump replacement.
Yes, you need to squeeze the trigger at least every couple min.
@@737mechanic at least every 30 seconds is the rule.
@@rogerzindler8144 I use the 1 to 2 min rule and my pressure washer has lasted 20 years so far and is still going strong. Although every 30 sec would be even better I guess.
The black tip is for letting the soap out before you wash if you washer has the soap tank
15-in surface cleaner will get the job done way faster
How many psi is your pressure washer?
He said 2800 not strong enough for concrete . Recommended for concrete is minimum 3,000 explains why the green tip wasnt doing what it was suppose to do. Minimum 3,000 for side walks and driveways.
@@beaulutz2833 nice I’m at 2,900 and I bought an attachment I’m gonna see once it dries up outside by my house is it’s good enough
He said it should bypass around 2800, so that's likely what it is, but GPM is maybe more important than PSI. The mass of the GPM is what carries things away. I use 4gpm and 3700 psi and can clean pretty much anything.
If you look at the tips a bit you can see he's using 030 turbo tip, the right size for that engine and PSI combination, but the red one, and I presume all of the rest, are marked 035. He doesn't have enough pressure washer for those larger tip sizes.
@@danfischer8166 hell yeah bro I forget how many gpm mine is but my boy uses it on he’s down in Florida got the same one. And he’s making money with it so I think it’s doable
The black one is for your cleaning solution/soap 😂
Dude... the black one is for applying things... soap, bleach.... as well as a wash/flush type fitting.... every pressure washer I have owned came with one.... "in the manual, it tells you this....but one has to read it to know why they included it" that was a joke ... I find it common sense ....
Dude..........Thanks
_Dude your name is Richard and I assure you made straight A's in HS._
Black one is chemical/soap tip
A surface cleaner is what you really want to use
Black nozzle is for pressure washers with a FOAM GUN accessory.
No, the black tip is pressure washers with a chemical aux tank. Usually soap. A foam gun, say a foam cannon, attaches to the wand and is it's own attachment. The output is adjusted via different orifice sizes and etc.
The black one is for soap!
Restriction is what creates pressure
Oh nvm just seen it now
The black one is for soap or sh
That’s the only way to downstream
Leaving your pressure washer on idle will blow your pump
Yes if you don't run cool water through it every min or two. I think I mentioned that in the video.
A black one is for soap only
737 fueler hear. Thanks
You just got through saying don't let pressure washer sit with out using it hmmmmm
Don't let it sit for more than a min or two. The pump will get too hot if there isn't enough water running through it to keep it cool.
dude the black tip is a soap tip it dont use pressure its for soap!
try getting a rotating turbo nozzle 10 times faster you r right use soap let it dwell afwes minute dynomite you ll see
Well, now I have to buy a new nozzle.
15 inch surface cleaner is slightly more but much better choice and 100 times more effective than rotating BS nozzles.
Black one is for soap. LMAO. Also why in the hell are you using the red tip. You never wanna use that for cleaning driveways or houses. You wanna use the green or yellow tips.
I never said I use the red tip for cleaning driveways or houses. I showed ALL the tips to simply show how they clean compared to the turbo nozzle. Feel free to watch the video in its entirety so you can better understand what the video is about.
$20 for turbo nozzle and five tips… almost $100.00 at hardware and big box stores. Shows you how your getting bent over a log at retail stores.
Thanks
